Latest Bargain e-Books – May 31st 2013
Another list of great looking bargains and reader suggestions below including four books that have me excited! I want to read There is No Light in Darkness and Darkness Before Dawn by Claire Contreras AND I Hope You Find Me and Lost and Found (Find Me Series) by Trish Marie Dawson (<—I hear these are horror, but at the same time, I’m wondering if they might have a touch of romance? *fingers crossed*). Either way, I think these might just be what I’m looking for in a “reading-change”. I’m looking for … *something*. I don’t know what exactly, just that it needs to give me that reading-adrenaline rush.
Chrissy Anderson – The List Trilogy Reading Order
<— Lots of great reviews on this one!! And it would appear it’s a true story! Here are some fellow reader recommendations that are making me antsy to read these:
Heather: I’ve only read the first book but i loved it! It was done so well I found myself sympathizing with the heroine even though in my opinion, she caused her own problems….definitely a 4-4.5 star read!
Katie: Loved the first book! I wasn’t expecting much but it totally pulled me in.
Julie: It’s a true story?? That’s awesome, I’ve had it on my TBR for awhile now
Reader Question: The book where the girl wakes up alone in her bed, and wonders where her guy is…
Okay here’s a reader question that looks like it might end up being an angsty infuriating book, considering how the question ends…
Amanda asks:
“My sister was telling me the other day about a book she was reading, I forgot the name of it or if it was even out yet, but it sounded good and I have been looking every were for it! The part she was telling me about went this way:
This girl wakes up alone in her bed, she wonders where her guy is, she finds him in the living room with a glass with amber colored liquid in it and he looks like he is asleep. But when she goes to take the glass he grabs her and holds her, she tells him he needs to go to bed and that is where he was going and her guy says he wants to sleep with her but she says no not tonight because she had found out that day that he had cheated on her…”
Book Review – You Don’t Have To Say You Love Me by Sarra Manning & I’m giving away my print copy…
You Don’t Have to Say You Love Me
A very good read, with fantastic writing and extensive character development, and at 555 pages (!!!) I really feel like I got to know them well. But at 555 pages, it took me a few days to finish it, with a few stops and starts along the way as I went (especially between 30% and 45%… it was still good, but lagged somewhat at that point). I’m a fairly fast reader, but unless a book has me on the edge of my seat and I simply can’t put it down, a book of this length will take me some time. While it didn’t have me hooked to that extent, I was certainly in for the long haul, and by 50% I was good to go the rest of the way.
