Following my heart, one book at a time...
I really want to clean out some of the books piling up in my kindle library and so when I saw this prompt of 22 in 22 I thought it could be a simple and fun way to tackle some of it.
I kind of just randomly scrolled through my library and picked what stood out to me, some of these books I can’t even remember the synopsis or why I had to buy it at the time.
bev: Maryse do you hae a current tbr that you are working through? I’ve been making small ones that I can deviate from as my mood changes and then go back to. But I know some people make monthly ones which sounds fun to. I did at the beginning of the year choose 22 books out of my kindle library to read in 2022. I need to actually start them though.
So, like I often do, I one-clicked it because it absolutely HAD to be mine, but I didn’t get to it right away. And in my eBook hoarding, it was pushed further down until I couldn’t see it anymore, and completely forgot about it. Though never fully forgetting that haunting synopsis.
Going over the fun “TBR list” quizzes that I’ll be posting in the next few weeks, I realized, mine was in sore need of an overhaul. Or at least an update. 
From what I can tell, I haven’t posted an official one since October 2015! I’ve been meaning to make a new list for some time now. I have many unfinished TBR lists, but I hear many of you do, too, so I don’t feel so bad. Tee hee!
But come on!! How can anyone blame us? Considering all of these new releases coming out, or when we’re in the mood for a little genre-change, or when our best book-addict friends INSIST they’ve read one they know we’ll love like crazy, it’s impossible for a book-addict to stick to just one.
I’m reading The Kind Worth Killing! I’m halfway through the book and really enjoying this psych-thriller and I have NO idea where it’s going. NONE. I thought I did, and then TWO twists knocked me for a loop right at the halfway point, and now anything goes. 😉
Maryse: Now I’m reading “The Kind Worth Killing” – it’s another that Sadie and Tracie went crazy for, and Sadie has been INSISTING. This one is full-on adults, and his wife is cheating on him (he’s super rich), and he meets a woman on a plane and they “bond” and she tells him that she’ll help him get rid of her. *gasp* That’s crazy enough as it is, but not necessarily what would have attracted me to the book. Murder plot books and detective-type books are rarely my thing but because it’s a psych-thriller, I have the impression (by what I’ve heard from others) that this thing is going to twist in a way that I won’t see coming.
