Reader Favorites – Sadie’s Top Favorite Books List:

Wheeeee!!! It’s a doubly awesome Saturday ’cause it’s Reader Favorites day, AND it’s Halloween so I have a special treat. Today is Sadie’s turn and she switched up the favorites-list format a little. 😉 She’s been with us since 2013 and I must admit, her book tastes ROCK HARD!!! She and I discuss our latest awesome “finds” often, and Sadie’s suggestions do NOT disappoint.

A little on her HEA & cliffhanger preferences:

“I never want to know if it’s a HEA. If I hear that a book has a HEA, it’s always lingering in the back of my mind and I feel less emotionally invested. For me, it’s the same with movies. Agree that cliffhanger warnings are good because I am with Melissa – I always forget details from the previous book/s so prefer to read the series together if I can. For some, I just can’t wait :)“ read more

Reader Question – The book where his personal shopper takes her shopping and she chooses the ugliest dress…

I thought I knew which book Rhonda is looking for but the “furious personal shopper” threw me for a loop. Maybe you guys know?

Rhonda asks:

“I am desperately trying to find a book I read about a girl who starts dating a wealthy guy.

There is one vivid scene where he takes her to a party and his personal shopper takes her shopping for a dress.  She chooses the ugliest dress possible and keeps telling her “everyone is wearing it in New York”.

The guy makes her change with the shopper in the car on the way to the party.  The shopper is furious, but does it.  I cannot find the book anywhere and wanted to re-read it.  Could your readers help?” read more

HAPPY ALMOST HALLOWEEN!! Probably already Halloween for most of us, since so many dress up for work and school. Yep, this Halloween is so much cooler ’cause we actually get TWO days of Halloween. 😀 Speaking of which… I’ve posted a few horror books amongst our latest book finds! I know… not everyone loves the scary stuff, but I just can’t resist my awesome-halloween mood, and the thrill I get from some of these scary blurbs.

But! Never fear!! There are plenty of romances and sexy alpha males to choose from, below. Actually, most “finds” are love stories, as that is always my favorite. I LOVE love. Plus some married couple troubles (love troubles in books are fun too) AND a few pregnancy *oopses*! LOL! 😀 read more
