In the mood to read something that will make you cry? I have a list for that!

Okay… okay… 😉 I know NOBODY is reaaaaaally in the mood to cry. This is sort of a silly question, but generally when we cry while we read, it’s because we’ve become one with the book. Connected with the characters, which, wouldn’t it be fair to say, means the book is awesome? Exactly!

Awesome IS what we’re in the mood for. That journey, that connection, and that emotional growth that is often proceeded through heartache and pain, but that leaves us exhilarated in the end. Or emotionally spent. All that to say, we’ve got a list!! 😀 read more

I love the eye-catching covers, and the premise of #1 has my heart!! Unrequited love?!!! Could #2 also be one? Each one appears to be a standalone, and I’m dying to know who’s read them? They sound right up my alley!

I absolutely LOVE these covers, and even more? The premise of each book. Not your traditional “romance heroine” but I have no doubt every bit, someone we can relate to and connect with.
About book #1

It’s true. I’m not what most people would call “pretty” and, well, high school was rough. Fast forward ten years and life is good…
Until a bunch of jerks think it’s hilarious to put the “butterface” (AKA me) on a wedding Kiss Cam with the hottest guy ever—and that old humiliation hits hard.
I recognize him immediately. The sexiest cop in Waterbury and totally out of my league.

<— JUST RECENTLY RELEASED and I get a total kick out of the sweeeeeeeeeeeet (and sexy!!) cover… and ummmm….. that clever title. Doggy Style (Rescue Me Book 1) *waggles eyebrows* What?? Get your mind out of the gutter! *snort* Nevermind. I was totally there with you. 😉 After all… he’s famous (or… infamous) for a leaked video that went viral… earning him quite the nickname.
That title just makes me blush and giggle SO hard (innuendos always do), but it’s actually quite a clever play on a very sweet-sounding premise. Mind you… I have a feeling it’s plenty steamy, considering the heroe’s… *ahem* reputation. *snort*
