Today’s Latest Paranormal & Romance Book Releases – July 31st 2012

Great Big release day today!! A few in here that automatically make my TBR list (such as The Lady Is a Vamp: An Argeneau Novel by Lynsay Sands), and a couple of others I’ve been hearing good things about. For instance. H.P. Mallory’s series (right there to the right) is highly acclaimed as super funny and super steamy!! Gunmetal Magic: A Novel in the World of Kate Daniels by Ilona Andrews (The Kate Daniel series is so often recommended) and The Care and Feeding of Stray Vampires by Mollie Harper (I just love this author!) read more

Book Review – Crash by Nicole Williams

Another great (and recent) bad boy read that had me finishing it one straight sitting. When the author sent me a review copy, I knew it was right up our alley! The synopsis said it all…

Jude Ryder, a guy whose name has become its own verb, and synonymous with trouble.

… and the actual story, pretty much, lived up to it’s potential. While it is YA and stays within a “tamer” realm, the author does explore some serious bad boy behavior, and a few steamier circumstances. read more

Book Review – Fall From Grace by Christine Zolendz

Fall From Grace
Okay well. *hrmph* Hrmmm… Finished it. Loved it… and yet I was left feeling a bit… hesitant. I’ll try to explain why, without spoilers.

After my  *pre-squee* in my recent “currently reading” post, I can say that that 90% of this one lived up to my “Beautiful Disaster feel” needs. It just kept getting better and better, and more intense as it went, and I was thrilled. Delighted! My heart clenched, I was exasperated and yet not overwhelmingly so, just enough to feel the tension and emotion, and to enjoy the drama. The heartfelt/slightly anguished/dreamy hits kept coming, and that’s the way I like it. A “falling for him, but…” fight to the finish. read more
