Book Review – Aftermath by Cara Dee

<— You just know from the cover that my eyes popped with reading glee, when I saw it. Dark looking, intriguing, and that title? “Aftermath“. Whoa. This was going to explore some depth, I just knew it. Not just “dark & psychological” (I love those!) but a potential romance of the M/M kind.
Two men that survived a kidnapping, forming an emotional bond so deep, that they continue to need each other, after the fact. We’ve heard about this kind of thing before. Maybe not Stockholm Syndrome, but certainly… right up my alley!
Tara Sue Me – The Submissive Trilogy Reading Order
In the mood for some more of that “Fifty” feel? 😉 These fellow readers highly recommend this series.
Kat: I devoured ‘the Submissive’ in one night and the next book out is called ‘the Dominant’, the same story from his perspective with the final book called ‘the Training’. This book was intense and a little squirmy to read sometimes because it gets intense really early but it draws you in. I cried and laughed and blushed and loved every minute of it!!! Alpha Males to the nth degree *sigh*.
Lisa Renee Jones – The Secret Life of Amy Bensen Series Reading Order
Who’s been wondering what was up with the series? Book #1 & #2 rocked worlds… and then? LOL!! Gallery Books (Simon & Schuster are now releasing the series) so it’s no longer indie AND we have TWO more books already on the way (soon!!!) with pre-orders. 😀 I listed ’em below.
New adult romance in full-blown angst style (with a killer cliffhanger in book #1 but no worries, book #2 is out now!!). Okay yesssss book #2 has a cliffhanger too, but I’m hearing it’s nowhere near as bad (about a different character…). YAY US!!
