Monday Early Bird Book Releases – 09-30-2019
HAPPY MONDAY EVERYONE!! Lookit what just went LIVE EARLY!! And.. OMG. Tomorrow is HALLOWEEN MONTH!!!!! I am pulling out all of my decorations this upcoming weekend and going to town. *fingers crossed* it cools down here at least a little for it to feel like Florida Fall. 😉 I need the BRISK!!!
THREE THINGS:
1.) I saw Ad Astra this weekend I must admit… Brad Pitt is at his finest. *oooomph* I’ve always acknowledged his handsomeness (but never been overly “crushy” on him – I mean… he’s Brad Pitt. Of course… it’s a no-brainer, so… *shrugs* LOL!!!), but something about his solemn character, his introspective, yet remote narration in this one just made me… *fans self* Maybe I like men with that “more mature” thing goin’ on? ‘Cause he’s got just a touch of that here, even though he still has that perfect baby face, but yeah… his current look (and age?) makes him that much finer.
Kristen Granata’s “Hating The Boss” is LIVE and she’s giving away a signed copy!!
Hating the Boss IS LIVE and we’re celebrating this new enemies-to-lovers release with a signed book giveaway, and Kristen Granata is this week’s newsletter sponsor! 😀 *claps*
The author describes it as:
“…a hilarious enemies-to-lovers Romantic Comedy about a teacher who has a one-night stand with a guy over the summer … who turns out to be her new principal in September! 😱
…so many fun scenes!”
GASP!!!!! Oh that’s just trouble!!! 😉
And after reading this blurb, I have NO doubt it’s a whole lotta fun trouble!
Elizabeth Hoyt – Maiden Lane Series Reading Order
HISTORICAL ROMANCE LOVERS you probably already know about this complete series, but in case you’re looking for something new (or new-to-me) and haven’t read this, it comes highly recommended!!! 😀
bev: Duke of Sin by Elizabeth Hoyt …her Maiden Lane series. I’ve been reading them recently totally out of order, just by what story catches my interest. In this the hero has been the villain in past books. He is a bit deranged and very fun. I guess she based him a big off of Loki. These are fun HR books. I like that not all her characters are aristocratic like in a lot of HR. The hero is a duke but the h is a housekeeper.
Reader Question… Solved! The book about the hero that escapes his alcoholism & she shows up at his door, pregnant…
Usually I post reader questions on Thursday, but I couldn’t leave Zilpha in a lurch. I feel her pain and OMG I hate when that happens! I just moaned about that a week or so ago about how I saw an ad on Facebook for something that I wanted, but couldn’t find the ad again!! LOL!
Anyway, she asks:
Ugh! I just saw it advertised yesterday on my FB feed and now I can’t find it anywhere.
It’s a best friend’s little sister trope where the hero moves across the country to escape his demons and alcoholism and she shows up on his doorstep pregnant but only after a kiss does he remember that maybe there may have been something between them before he left during one of his benders.
