There’s only a day left to enter this Colleen Hoover signed book giveaway awesomeness!!! This book was felt soul-deep by so many of us. Moved us. Not just one that so many understood, but a story, a reality, that understood so many. So deeply, that we felt the need to share it with others.
What better way to “enter” a contest, than by telling us what books moved you enough to tell others about it? To share your love of a book, with a best friend, family, or fellow readers. The response was amazing! WOW!!! The books listed (many that are new to me) and the reasons why they’ve touched us, needed their own list.
And what better day, then to dedicate some of the most intense recommendations right now, on “Readers Favorites” day!
Take a look at this amazing book love!
Jen: I would have to say that It Ends with Us is by far one of the best reads ever, I have shared the Amazon link over and over on facebook but i know a special someone who needs this book…
Alex: This book actually has been the one I’ve been really wanting people to read. After reading this book it really opened my eyes to how many woman in my life alone are going through similar things. So I really hope it ends with us opens their eyes like it has done for me.
Tiffany: I have been telling everyone to read this book bc it has such a great message and strength and just about everything in it!
Allyssa: It Ends with Us has completely altered my mindset and has made me re-examine so many situations! I have recommended this one countless times already and will continue to do so!!
Vivienne: Stolen a Letter to my Captor by Lucy Christopher. I read that book in one sitting, I cried, and it sparked by love for reading. I force feed that book on everyone I know. I read the book at least once every year.
Amanda: One of the many books that I have continually shared is CARNAGE: Book #1 The Story Of Us By Lesley Jones.. so much feeling … heart stopping…
Jacqueline: The Raven Cycle books by Maggie Stiefvater are amazing! I’ve recommended them each time a new book came out to my Facebook friends. The series is complex, moving, eerie, and chock full of real characters.
Alexis: The one book that really moved me and made me want to share it with everyone was When It Rains (Rains Series Book 1) by Lisa De Jong
Jen: I love to share Wonder with my fellow parents and their children. I love the lessons of acceptance and taking on the POV of someone so different,
Kate: As a chemo nurse, The Fault in Our Stars made me look at cancer and dying differently. Great story about living to the fullest while you have the time.
Briana: The book that has moved me the most is Slammed. I can relate so much to the characters, right down to losing my mom and trying to do the best for my little brother. To being the adult when I was supposed to be a “kid.” I told so many people to read Slammed, and it will always be my number one book
Stacey: F*ck Love is the book I had to share. It kinda sums me up.
Missy: I recommend Easy by Tammara Webber and don’t read any spoilers. It really surprised me.
Monica: One book that absolutely changed me was God-Shaped Hole by Tiffanie DeBartolo! Underrated book and definitely worth the read.
Kim: All the Bright Places by Jennifer Niven. That book has all the feels.
Hannah: It’s Kind of a Funny Story by Ned Vizzini. I actually own three copies of it and I’m not even sorry.
Shay: I would have to say A Thousand Boy Kisses by Tillie Cole her books always leave me wanting more, this book left me emotionally exhausted i couldnt sing its praises enough i recommend it to everyone especially if they are fans of me before you they both affected me in the same way. Months later they can still bring tears to my eyes just thinking about the stories. I left this book with an appreciation for living and enjoying life also an appreciation for authors that have the ability to move you with their words there are only a handful that leave me weeks later still thinking about their books, and Tillie cole is one of them.
Dana: a book I would like to share is “The Host” by Stephenie Meyer, it is beautifully written and makes you think about the human race and our nature.
Maryrose: A book that has touched me enough to recommend to a friend is “The Program” by Suzanne Young. I read it during a rough patch last year and takes place in a world where depression and suicide has become an epidemic.
Janet: I’d have to say anything by RK Lilley. RK Lilley’s books are emotionally-charged stories with great characters, and hot, hot writing!
Janet: Diana Gabaldon’s ‘Outlander’ series – a magical, sweeping, romantic, time-traveling tour de force set mostly in the turbulent 18th Century. It’s the story of the inseperable Jamie and Claire (and yet they’re always getting seperated!), set against the back drop of Bonnie Prince Charlie’s Scotland, Louis XV’s Paris, and the War of Independence in America.
Julie: “Bright Side” or “So Much More”, both by Author Kim Holden are two powerful books that I love to share w all readers as well as having huge impacts in my life
Zil: There are so many books that moved me but if I have to choose one, it would be Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen. The raw truth of women and the lifestyle and how the author has depicted it is what makes me catch my breath. Also, we can’t help but be charmed by Mr Darcy now can we ?
KM: I shared Jandy Nelson’s I’ll Give You the Sun with my best friend. The plot was so enthralling, and the characters had intriguing voices.
The Sweet Gum Tree by Katherine Allred
All about the Game, by Nora Sakavic… I’ve re-reading chapters and Highlights for a week; just cant leave that story behind me….
How about Me Before You by Jojo Moyes!
I read it years ago, but it still gives me heartache.
I recently discovered a great author Jewel E Ann
