We have just a few more days of daily 2015 reader favorites lists to post. *sigh* I’m sad to see ’em go (unless you send me more!! 😀 ). And anyway, we still have our Saturday reader favorites list where our fellow readers send in their ALL-TIME favorites. 😀 But OMG have I added to my own TBR lists for 2016. 😉 In fact, Jellicoe Road from a few other favorites lists is now right at the top of my TBR for me.
Today, I have Laura’s list to feature, and this one has quite the paranormal and urban fantasy appeal. 😉 (BTW: check out her top favorite books list, too! We get to know Laura really well in that one!!)

1.) Pride Stories Series by shelly laurenston <— I’m pretty sure this was a michelleS recommendation and once I started I couldn’t stop they are just so funny and the characters are amazing kind of remind be of the crazy side of IAD so that hooked me!
2.) GUILD HUNTER SERIES by nalini Singh <— Angels!!! Freaking Angels!! And vampires made by angels oh I loved it and now I’m waiting for more again!
3.) The Others Series by Anne bishop. <— Yes she bullied me too ahem bev *cough* but I’m glad she did I really liked it all of them can’t wait for the next it’s very unique the way it’s written
4.) Highlands’ Lairds series by Julie garwood <— Now you know I’m Scottish myself so living in Scotland I’m sorry to say there is no one like the lairds they really are a myth lol but these books were really good very alpha male type highlanders kilt and all!
5.) The Secret Clan: The Complete Series by Amanda Scott <— So u can see I went on a bit of Scottish historical romance thing and ended up with this series also which involves of course the ‘Wee people’ or the fae better known as and enjoyed these also!
“And so to be honest that’s all I can think of my memory isn’t getting so good but I of course enjoyed my usual ones such as The Shadows by j.r ward and I again read the Rachel Morgan (The Hollows Series) by Kim Harrison because I just read that every year for my jenks fix you all must read this series!!!
But more than that I can’t think so they must not be worth mentioning that much and most of everyone else lists I haven’t read yet so I’m sure if I had they would be added to. So that’s all! Thank u!”

Laura, omg. I have read three of those. One is in my wishlist, telling me it’s only 1.99 right now, (Pride series) and I never heard of Amanda Scotts’ The Secret Clan series. Now I have two new series for my TBR. 🙂
I can’t say enough about The Guild Hunter’s series, specifically those first three stories. Raphael and Elena’s romance makes me swoon every time. The Others is so great, of course. Highland Laird by Julie Garwood. I literally cut my romance teeth on that series. My first romance was The Bride. 🙂 The Hollows series I adored. I miss it, honestly.

A more contemporary Scottish hero I fell for was from Men in Kilts.
I’m so going to look up the Amanda Scott. 😛

Back to the CLASSICS- ummmmm. If you read urban fantasy and never read the, now complete Kim Harrison, The Hollows you have missed out.

What a fun list!!! So many favorites of mine, too. The Pride series was hilarious & sexy. Those dang lion shifters. And the honey badger. LOL. And men in kilts? Always a favorite of mine. Oh girl, we could have fun comparing lists!!!
Only the others series on here that I’m familiar with. And JR Ward but I haven’t read this one or her Bourbon series yet. Thanks for sharing your best books Laura….I’ll be checking some of these out.
