It’s Robyn’s turn!!! She’s BACK with her own 2016 Top Books list (last year, she sent us her Top Favorite books list, so check those out to if you missed them, AND to get to know her better), and now her latest list is ready!!! She even includes a fun little snippet of why it made her favorites. 😀
A few of my own absolute favorites are on here, and lots that I can’t wait to read and love. 😉

“Ok, I’m joining into the fun of my Favorite Books of 2016! (Notice how I didn’t put a number on the book…yeah, I read waaaay too much!). Most of these books touched my heart and soul in some marmy way. I love angst…the push and pull of love/hate. Good writing is a must (I read too many books to put up with deciphering nonsense) and a good ole fashion love story with a HEA. I read a lot of paranormal, urban fantasy and contemporary, so I’m pretty much all over the place!”
So here’s the 2016 lineup
Wolfsong by TJ Klune <— God this book! My first M/M and it stole my heart. Ox and Joe and the whole dang family. I laughed and cried and wanted to live with them. I also read that there will be a sequel called Ravensong. Yay!
Scarlet Stone by Jewel E Ann <— so angsty and funny!
A Promise of Fire (The Kingmaker Chronicles Book 1) by Amanda Bouchet <— great PNR read. Loved all the action and it was really funny too.
An Exaltation of Larks by Suanne Laqueur <— this book took my soul!
A Love Letter to Whiskey by Kandi Steiner <— another emotional read for me
American Queen by Sierra Simone <— a little threesome going on with the President and Vice President who are best friends….count me in!
Loverboy (Dartmoor Book 5) by Lauren Gilley <— I love this series! Loverboy is about how fragile Tango finds love and finally his way in the world.
It Ends with Us: A Novel by COHO <— what’s not to like? Angsty book with a good lesson even though that lesson was hard for me to accept.
Unbreak My Heart (Fostering Love) Nicole Jacquelyn <— yes she wrote those great m/c books but this book surpassed them all. I just reread it and it shattered my heart and put it back together all over again. This is one of those books I wish I could unread and experience it fresh and new. It had everything I look for in a great book!
Landline: A Novel by Rainbow Rowell <— this woman is talking to her younger self over a phone in her childhood home. She’s trying to fix her current relationship with her husband. Such a good book and something I’ve never seen before.

Yes, American Queen is about a threesome and HOT! Also The Anatomy of Jane is a threesome also that you should read.
Bev- I’m going to reread the Taker Trilogy again soon. It was that good! I reread a lot of my books because I can’t find another book that gives me the same “feels” that I’m always looking for.

I love Rainbow Rowell, and one of hers made my top 10 – so I will definitely check that out. I was waiting until my library had it because her books are pricey.
