YAY!!! I’ve received a few more reader favorites lists, recently, so our Saturdays are back on!!! 😀 Tonight, we’re featuring Tessa’s 2015 favorites list (and you can get to know Tessa even better, by checking out her Tessa’s Top Favorite Books List). It looks like she gave us this list awhile ago… but I missed it. I’m so glad I found it, now though. Better late than never, and this one is fun!!

Ready for her favorites?
Tessa: *grins impishly* Finally got it down to erm, around top ten of the year. I purposely didn’t add any books that were part of a series I was reading prior to 2015. Every one of these took my emotions and gutted me in some way.
1.) Fear Me (Broken Love Book 1) and Fear You (Broken Love Book 2) by BB Reid <— A totally dark form of Bully. He’s scarier than scary. Fear You, his POV, wasn’t soothing or non-angsty like most male POV. He’s just nuts evil.
2.) Kulti by Mariana Zapata <— EMOTIONS! Slow burn, lots of love and OMG, felt real.
3.) The Deal (Off-Campus Book 1) and The Mistake (Off-Campus Book 2) by Elle Kenedy <— Like you all don’t know why!
4.) Branded (A Sinners Series Book 1) by Abi Ketner <— This dystopian messed with me BIG TIME> I didn’t know whether to feel scared,
5.) Breaking Him (Love is War Book 1) by RK Lilley <— It broke my heart! CH warning, but the romance and love was there, but totally toxic. I can’t wait for book two!
6.) The Tairen Soul Series by CL Wilson <— MichelleS is right. One of the best fantasy series I’ve read. It gripped me and then, I felt like OMG, why are bad guys allowed to live? Yeah, angst from bad guy POV. That’s insane!
7.) Indebted Series by Pepper Winter <— And this series is why I’m on some Homeland Security list.
8.) Diamonds (All That Glitters Book 1) by KA Linde <— Again, angst, all from the lies being told. I should have HATED this character. The mean girl that is popular and a cheerleader. Yet, I totally emphasized with her and felt every emotion she did.
9.) NOLA’s Own Series by Kelli Jean <— I laughed. I cried ugly tears. I spun in happy joy. There’s not a single freaking emotion I didn’t feel. Freaking series gutted me and I loved every second.
10.) Throne Of Glass Series by Sarah J Maas <— Just… read this series. If you like fantasy, read it! I have my niece who doesn’t like to read hooked on it. It’s different and utterly fascinating. (I’m still rooting for the prince!)

I just finished Heir of Fire (Throne of Glass book 3). It was awesome! Getting them on loan from library, so anxiously awaiting the next two. I’m a Rowan fan now. 🙂
I want to read the two Fantasy series listed here… I just know I’ll become a fantasy romance addict
Maryse – I may sound like a broken record, but there is no way you wouldn’t totally love the Tairen Soul Series. It sticks with me even now. Every detail. I know it’s 5 books, but someday….. seriously. And Throne of Glass is really great too. For me, Tairen Soul is still in the number one spot though.
Yes , Yes Elle Kenedy. This woman can write, funny, sexy, full of banter, and the chemistry is off the chains. Even though these romance books are fantasy, I appreciate some realistic interjections in them, which Elle Kennedy does so well. That series is among my Top 10.

I absolutely loved Fear Me and Fear You. Both books were 5+ star reads for me. Everyone should READ THESE TWO BOOKS NOW!!!

Maryse, I’m going to free with MichelleS on this one. You’d love Tairen Soul more than Glass Throne. Both are awesome, but Tairen Soul just had that extra gut twisty oomph. Also, NOLA. I need an angst lover to read that to see if it really was that emotional or if it was just me.
Beg, you’d love Glass of Throne. Also, most libraries have the series. 🙂 I know the price is prohibitive.

I know. I know! It pops up every time I open my Kindle. Front and Center. That’s how high up it is in my tbr. I even started reading A Court of Thorns and Roses a few weeks ago because I got it confused with Throne of Glass.
I’ve got some beauties like this one lined up for when I hit my fantasy reads again. 🙂
What the what?! I have only read 4 of these 10, and being as though Tessa and I have VERY similar tastes, I feel like I’ve fallen somewhat short of the yellow brick road and landed in a very bad version of Oz somewhere. Although…again, being the type of books that Tessa likes… *giggle*

So, guess what? Every single one of these has just moved up on my TBR, *AFTER* TBRU on drops on Tuesday, I know she understands me… we have a mutual understanding of these things!

Tessa, I’ve read 2, 3, and 8. I have Nola and Fear Me already on my tbr. Breaking Him is too, but I haven’t started it yet because I hate CH!! Great list!

I LOVE seeing Branded on here. And since there isn’t a followup book yet but Branded does wrap up at the end, it’s perfect for everyone to try out without making a big series commitment. *ahem* Hint hint, everyone.

Cheryl, when all of the Breaking whatever books are out, you have to read them. They are so good, but that cliffy was a big one. Thankfully, I like cliffie when they are done right, and this one was. NOLA and Fear Me were so good. *grins* Seriously awesome full of goodness good.
There is a number two! I just looked and it’s called Hunted. 🙂 I will be getting that one next month. *next month is SOOOO expensive* And, NOLA, yes. I really need an angst lover to read that to see if it’s just me. I really did ugly cry, but not where everyone would assume.
