So far… we’ve had specific requests for Age Gap romance (forbidden or otherwise), and then even more specifically, older women with younger men… and of course, older men with younger women. And that soon spurred the of course… romance books featuring older main characters altogether. We are ROCKING these lists.
And then I received this very detailed request that is even MORE narrowed down. So, let’s make another list, shall we? I’m sure there will be repeats on here from some of our other lists above, but this list is especially for those who are adamantly in the mood for ONLY this age group, in this “Age Gap” trope.
Cilla asks:
Hi
I have a question about age gap books from your blog.
Do you have a section for younger couples? High school girls with college guys or guys under 30?
I guess thats why I love most age gap books because of the forbidden. For me forbidden is that feeling that would make your conscious stop you from doing any action. In books this makes you play the “I can’t be with you” “But I love her so much, I can’t be without her” “We have to stop this” “but I will steal a kiss” kind of a pull and push game making it….Slow Burn
But some of this age gap books are just about the Sex part, no excitement besides that.
I prefer younger couples. No older than 30 for the guy and no older than 22 for the girl. Because what’s forbidden about older ages you know, unless he is blood related, married?
I don’t even find forbidden college teachers with student anymore. What’s forbidden dating your dad’s friend?
Sorry if this is too long hahahah after reading more than 1000 books I became super picky, a more selective reader. I used to give 5 stars like pancakes now the higher is 4 and those are the ones I liked Hahhaha now mostly I give 3.
Thank you very Much for all your help.
Maryse: Hi Cilla! I have these two categories which will absolutely have some with the age group you’re looking for (some recommendations will feature younger characters, and of course, some will be forbidden, in the mix. But a guaranteed mix of the two? Not sure. So maybe we can narrow it down?
NOTE: And then she added (to give us a better idea):
Cilla: My recommendations:
- Jailbait Series by Mía Storm (college guy High school Girl)
- Slammed: A Novel by Colleen Hoover ( High school Student/teacher)
- When Summer Ends: A Novel by Isabelle Rae (High School Student/Teacher)
- Hothouse Flower (Calloway Sisters Book 2) and Long Way Down (Calloway Sisters Book 4) by Krista Ritchie
Scandalous was my last age gap book that I loved reading, was simply amazing. It wasn’t just the age gap but opposite attract.
I wish authors or even on reviews they would mention the age of the leads, I have read description with tags of forbidden or age gap with an age difference of three years, like come on 25 year old guy with a 22 year old is not shocking enough but It does make a difference with a 20 year old guy with an 17 year old girl.
I prefer reading about younger couples more forbidden and if I purchase a book with a 40 year old with a 20 year old because it’s not mention for me it’s a waste of money because it’s not forbidden enough hehehe
Please recommend me more books like the ones I mention. Thank you in advance! 😉
Now that you’ve all read Cilla’s EXACT request (high school/college and forbidden!!!), maybe you know just what she’s looking for?
Any recommendations?
(Cilla starts us off…)
Cilla: That’s why Scandalous (Sinners of Saint Book 4) was just perfect for me, even those he was a thirty something man he didn’t sound like a pervert going after a younger girl. Still she was 18 much younger I guess that why I still liked it. (See kind of Jailbait hahaha).
But usually I don’t like it when they are over thirty, but he was my exemption hahahah Also the opposite attract. He was a CEO and she was this Emo looking girl. The bickering no insta love.
Julie O: …I just finished re-reading the SINNER OF SAINTS SERIES. I mean I just put down SCANDALOUS last night and thinking about what to read next…
Jill: Lucia Franco Hush, Hush
Liz: Recent release feedback…… Hush Hush by Lucia Franco was a 5 blazing stars for me.

Joy: JA Huss: Eighteen (18)! She’s a 18 y.o. student and her teacher is 28. It’s based on a true story and it’s soooooo good!
Priscilla: I even forgot to mention a book lol. Very Bad Things ( Briarwood Academy Book 1) by Ilsa Madden-Mills

I tried to get the kindle version of Getting Dirty by Mia Storm but I can’t. It only shows up in “real” book form. Am I doing something wrong?
It appears that her books aren’t available in Kindle right now. Not sure why? I’m so curious about these!!
She told me amazon took them down, only nook has them.
Sorry I recommended them I had totally forgot about that.
And I didn’t know amazon took the borrow feature from the site, I was going to let you and Lisa borrow them.
Now I remember the last time I talked to her she said her book were pulled from amazon, but Nook has them.
Thanks for letting me know. No worries. It’s not like I don’t have a hundred books in my TBR lol! I ❤️ Reading!!!!!!!!!
