The title says it all!! π Members of Kindle Unlimited (or those thinking to become members), REJOICE!!! This one has been asked for a few times in the last year, and now we’ve started an official “recommendations list” for our most favorite books currently in the Amazon Kindle Unlimited program!! Note: Some books come in and out of the program regularly, so one may be on this list that is not longer part of Kindle Unlimited.
Leslie asked us for this list when she took advantage of this awesome Kindle Unlimited deal for new membersΒ β Three months of Kindle Unlimited for a super-bargain!! Not a member yet? This is for you! Not for me, βcause I am one. π I just renewed my Kindle Unlimited when it was on sale a few months ago.Β And I love it. I’m not sure when this deal will end…
And Grey found us another deal that’s active right now too!
Leslie M: Good morning and happy Friday!! What a week! We had storm here that started Sunday and went through Tuesdayβ¦over 2 ft of snow. I was able to take advantage of KU 3 months deal!! Yippee!! So if anyone has good CR recs, Iβd love to hear βem.
Grey: π’Attention, please! Kindle Unlimited deal! If you give the *GIFT* of KU you can get up to 40% off. <—Maryse note: this one is still going on right now too
Tasha J: Now what?? I need some kindle unlimited ideas. Oh! Iβll try Work Wife. Anybody got any other suggestions?
Becky:Β Thatβs awesome. In the past, I thought of suggesting such a thing. Iβll have to look back at my goodreads history and send you some of my 5 star books. If it wasnβt for KU, I would be in the poor houseΒ π
Kristy:Β KU has opened me up to a lot of different genres I might not have read otherwise. Hard to justify spending so much money on books that I’m not sure I’ll like.
Cait: Thank god for kindle unlimited at least it keeps a bit of cost down when a list like this pops up! I am actually so excited to get startedβ¦..
Cheryl: Iβve read a lot of KU books and sometimes forget to add them to my GR list and they βdisappearβ from my Kindle when returned.
Tasha J:Β I was going to ask if there is a way to see what youβve read on Kindle Unlimited. I forget, but I know there were some really great ones.
Tessa: …if you go to your account, it has a drop down menu that says Kindle Unlimited. It has a list of every KU you ever requested.
Maryse: GASP!! THANK YOU!!! Excellent hint. I swap some out before I read them (even though I don’t want to let them go yet), and now I can go back and re-get them. Re-get? <— I just made that up didn’t I? π
Julie O: Maryse,Β I swap out books I havenβt read yet too. But I will order the book that I got rid of from KU as a sample so I will remember it and can go back if I want and order again. Works for me. Of course my kindle is full of samples.
There are not enough hours in the day people.

Kathy: Have fun!! Lots of great books to be found!! I definitely break even and more on KU each month.
- Someday, Someday by Emma Scott
Kathy: Someday, Someday! Best of the year for me!
- The Assist: A College Sports Romance (Smart Jocks Book 1) by Rebecca Jenshak (she has 4 basketball themed books in this series)
Kathy: Have you read any Rebecca Jenshakβs books? Her first is The Assist. There are 3 books in the basketball series. … I think you would like them!
- Lola Wrightβs Devil Angels MC Series (3 books in series so far)
Kathy: I found a new MC series by a new author, Lola Wright. The first book is the Devilβs Angelβs MC Book 1. I enjoyed it so much, I ended up reading the second book on the same day (husband and son were gone all weekend at golf) so I got some reading in:) They are both free on KU.
- Park Avenue Player by Penelope Ward and Vi Keeland
Leslie:Β Thanks K!Β Iβm def reading Someday, Someday and Park Avenue Player too!! Yay!! The Assist sounds goodβ¦I like sports themed romance. Iβm not usually into MC books, but will check it out.
Cheryl: I will say I just read Meghan Quinnβs Blue Line duet and I was pleasantly surprised. Sheβs usually my author I go to when I need something funny and over-the-top. This duet was not that. It was a well-written (not perfect) angsty story. Kinda a love triangle, that had me second- guessing how I thought this was going to end up. Recommend it and itβs KU!!!
Leslie M: Hopefully I will have time to read book 2 of Blue Line duet. I am DYING to know what happens. We need spoiler tags so I can talk about it. *hint, hint to Maryse*
Maryse: OMG YAY!!! I just added it to my KU pile. I traded one out for this one. *claps*
Rae: Kingmaker Duet by Kennedy Ryan
Michele G: Reading and listening to Regretting You right nowβ¦.Iβm getting ALL THE FEELS!!!! Absolutely loving it!
Christina: Read it in one sitting*sigh* Loved it!! Reminds me of why I feel in love with her writing in Slammed. Going to be re-reading.
Tessa: To Love Jason ThornΒ by Ella Maise is Kindle Unlimited and it is awesome and well loved. …Itβs all that I love a fun, light angst book. I was smiling HUGE throughout it.
Deborah: if u want a good, fun contemporary bookβ¦ may I suggest To Love Jason Thorneβ¦ Itβs on my bestbookever list and I would put it up there w Hollywood dirt;)
Jan: Enjoy. …as you can probably guess, Iβm enjoying my bargain KU subscription π
- R. S. Greyβs books are on KU. I liked The Fortunate Ones and The Beau & the Belle.
Jan: The Beau and The Belle by R.S. Grey. One of her better books IMO. I read it on ku, which I only joined a few weeks ago. Iβve been catching up on all those RS Greys I never read π
- I also liked Kiwi Rules (New Zealand Ever After Book 1) by Rosalind James about a navy SEAL whoβs lost a leg. Intriguing setting in New Zealand.
- Rachel Higginson e.g. The Something about Her (The Opposites Attract Series Book 4).
- Odette Stone Puck Me Secretly: An Enemies-To-Lovers Sports Romance (A Vancouver Wolves Hockey Romance Book 1) (hockey)
Jan: I liked her Puck Me Secretly. (Itβs better than it sounds).
- Also Karina Halle and Sarah Ney.
Leslie M:Β Thanks Jan! π
Tina:Β Love all of Karina Halle books and they are on ku
Becky: I am providing you with a list of my favorite reads that I got on Kindle Unlimited.Β If it wasn’t for KU, I would definitely be in the poor house because I go through a book every couple of days.
Anyway, most of these books would be considered paranormal romance and some are reverse harem.Β My rating system is pretty simple and all of the following I gave 4.5-5 stars.Β If I love love loved the story, it gets 4 or more stars. If I would read again, it gets 5 stars.Β Everyone’s taste in books is different so I have no idea if others would like these books also.
Oh and before I go, one of the things that I love about KU is that I can try new authors and not feel too bad when I don’t enjoy the book. Most of the below authors were new to me – I think the only author that I had read anything from before was CD Reiss.
- Fated Wings series by C.R. Jane
- Wilde Fae: Irish Fairytales (An Otherworld Collection Book 1) (The other world 1-3) Emma Hamm
- The Fallen World 1-3 Laura Thalassa
- The Four Horsemen Series (1 & 2) the series is incomplete – Laura Thalassa
Catherine: I did a little research on the books (and the books are free with kindle unlimited) and so I downloaded the first. All I have to say is OMG!! So, so good!! I devoured both in two days!! I read some fantasy books like Sarah J Maas, but normally Iβm a contemporary romance kinda gal, except I cannot rave enough about this series. Great plots, amazing characters, except now I have to wait for the next ones, sighβ¦ I would highly recommend these books!!π

The begging and ending of everything Stevie J Cole that was a goods one, In the unlikely event L.J Shen
These to books knocked me on my butt this week. And that is saying somethingβs cause I have a book slump year.
YES!! Thank you Milissa!!
I hate book slumps, so thank you for recommending these!! π

P.S. I Hate You – Winter Renshaw
YAY!! Thank you Leslie! I’ll add these in. π
P.S. I just got Sh*t My Dad Says ’cause of how much y’all were dying-laughing over it. I can’t wait!!!
You didnβt have any books by 2 of my absolute favorite authors:
Mariana Zapata
Brittainy Cherry
YESSSSS!! EXCELLENT suggestions, Lisa! I’ll add them. π
I didnβt see anyone mention LH Conway, her Hears series & Off the Air are on KU. Also JM Darhower has a majority of her books including Ghosted on KU. Penny Reid has the Knitting in the City series and Rachel Higginsonβs the Opposites Attract series.
Oooh, yay! *tosses more glitter* I’m all in for this one. As most of you know, I’m an almost permanent member of the “my husband forbids me from buying more books, because I buy too many and also have a KU subscription” club. So I frequently find myself on the book buying ban train. With that being said, most of my favorite authors release directly to KU, so I’m not left too terribly deprived.
Right now:
Penelope Douglas has several of her books in KU. Punk 57, Birthday Girl, and all 3 of the Devil’s Night books plus the novella (Corrupt, Hideaway, Kill Switch & Conclave.)
All of Kate Stewart’s books are in KU… The Guy on the Left and The Guy on the Right, Drive, The Brave Line, Heartbreak Warfare, etc…
Jeannine Colette has a couple in there too, and her books are legend. Just Ten Seconds is one that I’m sure of, and The Sexton Brother series that she wrote with Lauren Runow – Austin. Bryce. Tanner. Gah!!! <3
Speaking of Lauren Runow, All of her books are in KU as well. Sparks Fly, Our Song, Gravity… just to name a few, love them!
Tijan, a few of her latest books are in KU. Enemies, Teardrop Shot, Bennett Mafia.
Chloe Walsh: Binding 13 and Keeping 13 are both in KU (also as a quick aside…did you guys see that Saving #6 is scheduled to come out 5/29/20)
Pepper Winters latest series is in KU as well. The Body Painter and The Living Canvas.
For fans of the bully books… I think all of C.M. Stunich's books are in KU. (I know I read the entire Burberry Prep series and have started the Adamson All-Boys Academy books too…)
Rachel Higginson has quite a few of her books in KU. One of my top books of…I think 2017 is, The Five Stages of Falling in Love. I'm just about to start her Opposites Attract Series. The Opposite of You is book 1….I believe it got a stellar rating from you, Maryse π
And seriously, what list would be complete without… The Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling. Every. Single. Book. is in KU! What are you waiting for???
I'll shut up now, but yeah…KU is amazing!
Kate Canterbary. I’m currently rereading her Walsh series. It’s so good.
Iβm currently reading the most wonderful books by Amy Harmon (From Sand and Ashes, What the Wind Knows (a bit of βOutlander-typeβ time-travel here!), The Law of Moses, The Song of David – the last two are on my TBR list). I also thoroughly enjoyed The Light Between Two Oceans – really sad! Iβm a bit bored with βlightweightβ books nowadays – having read up a storm of romance novels/novellas that, I fear, are just being churned out to a willingly captive audience. These last few Iβve read have been easy reading, but deeply thought-provoking. A nice change, and they feed my book-lovinβ soul… π
This is wonderful, Megan! Thank you for sending this. I’ll add ’em in.
I too, am more into the “deeper” more fulfilling books (even though they can get heavy) these days…
