Reader Recommendations – Our favorite Stalker & Love From Afar books (where it actually works out)…

“STALKER OR LOVE FROM AFAR… BUT IT WORKS OUT” BOOK REQUEST!!!! <— Fun recommendation request!! Mind you, we DO already have an unrequited love romance list, but I figured there’d be a darker… more obsessive side to some of the recommendations on this one, ya know? 😉 P.S. Maryse: Oh I love the stalker/love from afar trope! I’ll see what we can come up with on both of your requests. 🙂

You’d think considering how much I LOVED ” You: A Novel” and similar stalker-thrillers, that I’d have a list ready. But this request is a bit different, since it actually involves the characters actually becoming a couple. The stalking, and love from afar actually ends in sweet love relief!

Where as the majority that I’ve read, the stalker is actually a villain through-and-through (and there’s no “getting together” willingly).

Though… The “You series” would be a perfect juxtaposition of this, so I’m making it #1 on this list.

So let’s make a list. 🙂 Recommendations can be on the creepy-stalker side (but they get together), or on the severely unrequited love side of romance (the “love from afar” aspect).

Maryse: I’m thinking both “You (as a series, it’s the epitome of obsessive love and stalkers tendencies and actually surprised me BIG time in book #2!!! P.S. here is my Book Review of “You” and my Book Review of “Hidden Bodies”)”

Maryse: Also “The Opportunist” (This book AND series is the epitome of doing absolutely whatever ruthless thing it takes, to keep/take back (or steal) the love of her life. And here’s my Book Review) make this list!!

Nancy: WATCH ME FOLLOW by Harloe Rae! Yep, he is a stalker!! First book I read by this author & made me a fan!

Ann: What about ‘Notice’ by K. Webster the H is a bit (more than a bit really) creepy and stalkerish. Only K. Webster can make creepy loveable.

Ria: Tormenter mine by Anna Zaires comes to mind.
