Ugly Love: A Novel
WOW DID I LOVE THIS!!! There is nothing “ugly” about this story. It’s absolutely beautiful. Okay, to be fair, yes… oh YES there are some very heart-wrenching, incredibly moving moments (in bittersweet, sweet and downright painful ways). So I admit, “Ugly Love” was the perfect title. But don’t let that scare you. This book was simply stunning in all of its joy and its pain. Its hope and its occasional silly-sweetness. Its normalcy. Its intensity as two very important relevant stories converge while weaving us in and out of the past and the present to get the whole picture. And what a picture it is!
How everything comes together… and the incredible emotional growth of the characters, to me? Incredible, thoughtful, complete storytelling.
And you know what? I really had no idea what this book would “feel like”, when I heard about it. I knew Colleen was changing this up a bit. Taking a more “adult” route, exploring a darker kind of angst. But I don’t know if it’s ’cause I accidentally saw tiny portions of early reviews or discussions, but I went into this thinking it would be dark, poetic, artsy and I dunno. Unfeeling? But you know… the “cool” kind of “unfeeling”. 😉 Like, two characters that were dead inside trying to find some sort of happy medium, and of course… all of the angst that goes with that.
But I was delightfully wrong! This book felt normal. Totally connectable. Totally relatable, and a fun start, even though it was intense and super-tragic at times. It had all of Colleen’s writing charm, her relatable characters and profound (yet often lighthearted, too) feel to it. And yes!! It’s got its very poetic moments, but by that, I mean… thoughts and feelings, comparisons… so eloquently put together (but so raw in their words) that… that was poetic, to me.
“I shouldn’t have done that,” he says. His voice is firm. Hard. Like metal. Like a sword.
“I didn’t mind,” I say. My voice isn’t firm. It’s like liquid. It evaporates.
He wraps his wounded hand, then turns around and faces me.
His eyes are firm like his voice was. They’re also hard, like metal. Like swords, slicing through the ropes that held what little dangling hope I had for him and me and that kiss.
“Don’t let me do that again,” he says.
I want him to do that again more than I want Thansgiving dinner but I don’t tell him that. I can’t speak, because his regret is caught in my throat.
WOW!!!!!! Gah. So many moments like that, where I could practically touch what she was feeling. I’ve thought those things, too.
It had it’s deep back-story, building until I was gasping for breath in its reveal. In its powerful message. But all of that in an emotionally accessible format for the reader. Oh sure, it’ll run you through a gamut of emotions… (like Amy says, below – perfectly said, Amy!!)
Bev: So, Maryse is your next book going to be off your tbr or one of these new ones?
Maryse: I’m reading Ugly!!
Amy: I don’t know about you ladies, but I’m lovin’ Ugly Love so far!
Pia: I read Ugly Love last night … and I mean NIGHT as I couldn’t stop and kept reading until the end, which was pretty late considering I am up for work now – ugh…. But it was Sooooo good, and right now I regret that I read it all yesterday. I wish I could come home from work today, cuddle up in the sofa and disappear into Tate and Miles’ world again. However I am sure they will stay in my head for the entire day as it was a really intense read
Maryse: I’m loving Ugly Love to so I’m nice and focused on that one… so well written and so intense. Miles is exactly the kind of brooding I love…
Cheryl: I’m loving Ugly Love. At about 65%…just having to start and stop too much because have a house full of family visiting. Wish Tate would have more of a backbone, but Miles just draws you in with his “damaged” self. I know why it’s called Ugly Love- because I’m pretty sure I will be “ugly” crying by the end.
Amy: I know what you mean, Cheryl. I’m thinking Ugly Love is going to hurt something ugly. I’m bracing myself… I’m freaking out with anxiety, elatedness, trepidation, hopefulness, dread…my heart hurts, my tummy is clenched…
Fabi: I’ve read 5 of her books. AND I loved every one. Ugly Love – here I come.
Amy: Ladies…ladies!! You’ve got to read Ugly Love. That woman has a gift. She took my heart and pummeled the sh!t out of it and then bandaged it up and nursed it back to health. Believe me, it left some scars…but I wouldn’t have it any other way! Ugly Love. Ugly hurt. Ugly cry. Beautiful story. I’m not looking at that cover yet, though. Not anytime soon. Nope. Nuh-uh. Not doing it. Still hurts too much. I love what her books do to me.
Cheryl: Amy I know what you mean. I just finished Ugly Love too. So many emotions. I read it s-l-o-w-l-y, sometimes re-reading paragraphs; I just FELT so much the entire time I was reading this beautifully written story. I knew when I first saw it that the cover was going to be significant, and OMG was it!!! *crying…again*
Amy: How the heck am I supposed to sleep now when I can’t breathe through my nose? *sniff*
Fabi: Your comments. Now I’m dying.
Jean: Amy I’m scared to read Ugly Love now! Sounds like one that will give me pains in my stomach!
MichelleS: I’m with you, Jean. I’m not sure I’m in the right mood for a painful, sobbing, cryfest kind of book. You guys are scaring me.
Amy: Don’t be scared, ladies, it’s so worth it! It’s not the kind of book where you will still be a wreck when you’re finished. Promise! It has the perfect amount of angst and the perfect amount of emotion and the perfect amount of cry factor and the perfect amount of healing factor. It’s *not* depressing, and you’re tummy may clench but it won’t hurt. Okay, I’m stumbling off my soapbox now. Just had to share that because I woke up this morning in a lovely book fog and so happy to have read it!
side note from Maryse: —> As you can see, I was pretty quiet here ’cause I was SO absorbed in it, I forgot the world existed. I finished it after 3am. I’m a book-zombie right now, but I’m happy!
Maryse: I just want to say I liked (loved!) Ugly Love more than Maybe Someday. It was GREAT!!!
Amy: Maryse, right? Right?!?!?
Cheryl: Amy- well said. Not a book to be scared of; just runs the gamut of emotions.
Maryse: Absolutely!!!! So many times… just in the “things” she said, or thought (or things HE said or thought)… I went through awwwww, to OUCH!!! to WOWWOWWWWW!! to WHOA! Just… OMG amazingly written…an amazing story (actually sort of… TWO stories and you’ll love reading both BOTH). The occasional switch back and forth, from past to present is perfectly done in this one… BOTH stories had me hooked. WOWOWOWOWOWOW!!!
Amy: Yes! Being in their *both* of their heads and understanding where each was coming from made it much more…bearable, I guess? At least for me. And the timings of the past and present switches were perfect. Wow, I am seriously fangirling here. I can’t help it!
But isn’t that what we love? To feel all if it, when reading? If not, we’re reading on the outside, looking in. Not so much impact, that way. But this one? Intensity, emotional connection in ALL ways. The crazy angst and yet… that real feel? This is it!
So what’s it about?
Your good ol’ “friends with benefits” (but no serious attachments) romantic-angst story, except that he doesn’t even really want to be friends. Even that, is too close. And he makes that VERY clear.
I try to look at his eyes, but they’re shut.
They’re regretting this.
Don’t open them, Miles. I don’t want to see you regret this.
She feels it. And therefore, you FEEL it. But she feels something else, too… and therein lies the problem. Which equals pure reading pleasure for me!
He’s best friends with her brother, and seems to be tight-knit within their group of friends (they’re all airline pilots living in the same apartment complex), and she meets him when she moves into her brother’s apartment for a few months. She’s attracted to him despite his exceptional broodiness. But of course!! 😉 But considering her first meeting with him (during his very private and desperately heartbreaking breakdown),
He’s crying.
Hard.
So hard he isn’t even making a sound.
I don’t even know this guy, but the obvious devastation is difficult to witness.
…she can’t help but ache for him. With him. This… stranger.
I stroke his hair, comforting him, even though he may not deserve it.
So what’s his problem? What’s his story? Oh we get that too!!!! This story has plenty of the emotional *ooomph!* I look for.
And what makes this one so good, is that it’s about two normal, (or should I say average?) people, getting to know each other, but within the “safety-net” arrangement of no attachments (because of course, there is a glaring personal issue… and one we have to discover as we read). Now I say “getting to know” each other, but as per the arrangement, this is NOT supposed to happen. Attraction, sex, and nothing more. Not even friends, really. Don’t ask, don’t hope.
Or better said as per the synopsis:
Never ask about the past.
Don’t expect a future.
*oooomph!!* <— ’cause you just know this isn’t going to go well. Or will it? 😉
I mean… that kind of physical attraction (where you’re willing to get just close enough), and level of intimacy on a regular basis will eventually put cracks in that wall.
They’ll forget themselves. They’ll smile at each other upon sight! They’ll think about each other. Miss each other. They’ll laugh together. They’ll do things for each other…
I should tell him my one rule has just become Stop doing things that me me want to break your rules.
They’ll hurt together. They’ll hurt each other, even though none of that emotion was agreed upon. In fact, it was forbidden from the get-go. Very emotionally constraining conditions, but if you factor in the human condition, you know how hard it is to control emotion. To not care. To not fall in love. To not hope. You can try, but on the inside… it’s wreaking havoc. And THIS is what the reader gets to experience in depth. But not over-the-top. At least, not to me.
And along with the walls crumbling, is the high level of tolerance for painful romantic angst. The amount of patience (and strength! YES —> I’m saying it!!) it takes to keep hanging on. To be sooooo into someone,
He’s invading. I don’t think he means to. He’s just invading my thoughts and my stomach and my lungs and my world.
That’s his superpower.
Invasion.
…as she is so often left dangling. Knowing what she feels is right. Knowing that there is a difference between what he insists upon, and what he shows her in his eyes. But OMG does he ever deserve a kick in the *you know what* sometimes. 😉 But then again…
******* Okay… skip this next part if you want to go into this book blindly, as I analyze my connection to the heroine and the relationship issues in this book *******
Now I know some might be appalled (or at least extremely resistant) to a heroine that insists on hanging on, “pretending” to be okay with his… coldness. His indifference. His insistence on sticking to the “no attachments” rule. His occasionally harsh reiteration of that very rule. But there was a *real feel* to this. Her hope, and her personal need. Her perception and instinct. Her occasional humiliation. Her personal introspection to end it, once and for all. And her all-too-easy ability to just take him back. Let’s just call him “Mr. Mixed signals” shall we? ‘Cause I had a hard time blaming her.
And I know that strikes a cord with me. Of course one side of me was like, show him who’s boss!!! You know he wants you, make him work for it. But the other side… well. I feel like I knew where she was coming from. And I loved Tate, as much as I loved Miles. I felt Tate. I was Tate. Being in her head… I got her.
In reality, should she have stuck around every time he emotionally hurt her? Should she have given in to him so easily when she was essentially trying to take a stand?
NO.
But was it REAL for many women to be just like her and so into someone (so full of hope) that they just keep giving in. Give it their all? Maybe even lose a part of herself, in the process?
YES.
I occasionally hear the word “doormat” used, when it comes to describing such a heroine, but I personally think the word “REAL”. And human. At least when it comes to my own memories of myself, and my friends for that matter, back in our early twenties. Some of us have fallen in love with the guy that doesn’t want “love”, haven’t we? Hoping despite what he says, how he acts, that it will come to fruition. Because of what we feel it actually is. It may not be pretty. It may not be right. In fact, it may even be ugly. But for me? It’s real.
******* Okay you can come back now! I’m wrapping this up! *******
So all that to say, I HIGHLY recommend this moving book. A wonderful cast of characters (don’t even get me started on Cap. LOVE HIM!!!! We should all be so lucky to have a “Cap” in our lives)! The story (stories) were exquisitely explored, beautifully worded and the internal dialogue (and dialogue altogether) was amazing. It will take you on two separate journeys, each one equal in their intensity (but so different in my heart), and all I can say is… WHAT. AN. ENDING!!!!!!
Pure emotional genius. I LOVE IT!
Gah!
Okay I’m fluctuating between 4.5 and 5 stars ’cause when it comes to Colleen Hoover’s books, I tend to compare everything to my BIG love of her #1 hit, Slammed. I’m thinking Slammed will forever be my #1 in her repertoire, and I gave that one 5 stars. But then again, I loved this one almost as much. Just in a different way. I’ll say it is my favorite Colleen Hoover book, next to Slammed. Slammed for me is pure sweetness (albeit, angsty, true….), and this one was pure adult angst (albeit, sweet, true…). 😉
I LOVED IT!
5 stars!!!
P.S. Thank you to the publisher for sending me a review copy of this one!

Hopeless
I loved everything I’ve read by college Hoover!
Slammed is my favorite I think because it introduced me to Colleen and her wonderful way with words. I truly love them all though!
Ohmygosh I couldn’t put this book down! I read it all in one sitting. Literally, woke up at 7:30 a.m. and finished at noon. Could. not. put. it. down. Then of course, I immediately regretted reading it so fast because I absolutely LOVED being in the story. I agree with you, the story and characters were so REAL that embodying Tate and their situation was a completely natural feeling and omg did I feel everything she went through. Love love loved this book and all of CoHo’s other books. She’s truly an amazing author who can make you feel every emotion in all of her books.
hopeless was my favorite.
Would love to win! Haven’t yet read anything by Colleen Hoover.
My first Colleen Hoover was Hopeless and it is still one of my all time favorite books. I just loved Holder and Sky.

Slammed. It is the first book I ever read from Colleen and it was amazing!
Slammed series was my fave!
Hopeless!! <3
Just finished UGLY LOVE. This book tore at my heart. I connected with each character and their individuals struggles. Loved the named Tate for the female lead
I loved”Maybe Someday. “
Slammed! But, I haven’t finished Ugly Love yet.
Slammed series by far!!!
Favorite is probably a tie between Maybe Someday and Ugly Love. Or all of them really. Do I have to choose?
I love Maybe Someday. I have read it twice and bought the audiobook so that I can listen to it all of the time. One of the best books that I’ve read in a long time!
Maybe Someday really was amazing…..Ridge was just so awesome!
I was reading this review and kept saying, “Yes! Exactly! EXACTLY!!!” And describing her as real as opposed to a doormat is perfect. I would like to *think* that I would stand up to him and all of his hotness were I in her situation, but the truth is that I don’t *know* if I actually could or would in real life. That’s just the brutal truth. Ugh, trying to read Opposition (love that series!!) but I keep thinking about Ugly Love. Good lord, I’m already craving a fix from another Colleen Hoover book. 😉
Jamie B!! You are missing out!! I’ve *never* been disappointed with any of her books.
My favorite book is Maybe Someday! There is just something about that book. There were some huge surprises in there that I never saw coming. And the cd by Griffin Peterson was just over the top. One of a kind, never been a done, it was just an epic experience reading that book!
I loved Finding Cinderella and I cant wait to read more from Colleen Hoover.
I cannot pick a favorite because I love all of Colleen’s books however, Ugly Love was absolutely AMAZING!!! I cried, I chuckled, and finished this book in less than 24 hours. I did not want to put it down!!! Can’t wait for another!
I’m Allie. And the book that changed my life the most would probably be the slammed series. I really hope I win this.
Hopeless was such a beautiful book to me! I absolutely love it and its on my yearly re read list! The characters are fantastic.
Hopeless is my favorite Colleen Hoover book
I <3 Colleen Hoover and everything she writes! It's hard to pick a fave but if I have to I would say, Hopeless. <3 me some Holder!
I really like all of Colleen Hoover’s books but I will go with Hopeless!
My favorite Colleen Hoover book definitely has to be Slammed. It was the first book that I read of hers and it made me fall in love with her writing style and her characters. Hopeless comes in at a close second though 🙂
I love all of Colleen Hoovers books, but Hopeless is my fave, so far!! 🙂
Slammed is my all-time favorite CoHo book, ever!! Will Cooper just can’t be beat, as far as book boyfriends/husbands.
Colleen Hoover is absolutely one of my all time favorite authors.. Thanks for the chance ;))
I adored Ugly Love! 🙂 Great review!
It’s still Hopless for me!
I love all of her books! Will read anything she writes!
Maybe Someday. That book bowled me over and I had a book hangover for weeks. I still get misty eyed when I think about it. There was no one in that book I didn’t like which led to it being such a beautifully heartbreaking book.
I loved Slammed & Point of Retreat! The butterfly scene is one of my favorites!
I absolutely love Hopeless my all time favorite Colleen Hoover book!!! Thank you for the chance
Slammed is my favorite!!
I LOVE all of Colleen’s books. This book was fantastic and must read again. I stayed up until 3am reading it. Could not put down. The love story was unique because of the back story. That added so much to the story and the way it was written. I read it like Slammed. AWESOME!!!!
The Slammed series as a whole still remain my favorite!
This Girl is my favorite Colleen Hoover book. Hearing te Slammed series from Will’s POV was beautiful.
I’m STILL hungover from Maybe Someday. Had I been reading a traditional book, I would’ve thrown it across the room!
Colleen is amazing!
I feel like every time I read a Colleen Hoover book I say it’s my favorite. Ugly Love made me ugly cry!!! I loved it so much.
I loved Losing Hope and Hopeless. Even Finding Cinderella was a good read. That series captured my heart.
Slammed will always have a special place in my heart because it brought Colleen Hoover into my life, buiuuuuut Ugly Love is now my all time fave book. Ever!
The first book I read of Colleen ‘s was Hopeless… and I fell in love. She is a fantastic writer.
I loved this book! It was raw..it was heart wrenching, it was beautiful! My top favs are in no particular order…Hopeless, MaybevSoneday and Ugly Love! Thank you for the chance! This would be so epic to win!
For me it’d have to be hopeless, first coho book and it stuck with me 🙂
That was a great review – it was so fun to read!! I have not read any of her books but I have bought some of them because everyone talks about her. I have to read her books now. Thanks for this giveaway!!
Hopeless will always hold a special place with me. & thank you for this opportunity! 🙂
Do I really have to pick a favorite? Colleen Hoover just keeps getting better with every book. I’ve loved every single book I’ve read by her and I’m still listening to the Maybe, Someday soundtrack. Just started Ugly Love and I already don’t want it to end!
Maybe Sunday + UGLY LOVE…. Because Miles’ story may be different. But Tates is so relatable, that I felt like I was reliving my past!
I LOVE all of Colleen Hoover’s books. Ugly Love was a beautiful book but it didn’t quite beat Losing Hope as my favorite Colleen book! Holder will always have a special place in my heart! <3
It’s SO hard to choose my favorite CoHo book! I love them all so much. I guess if had to pick then it would be Ugly Love. It was just so real and true. Even the greatest love can be ugly.
I loved how REAL Ugly Love was. It was so honest and beautiful and heartbreaking. Colleen’s writing just keep getting better and better.
Oh Yes, The Slammed Series my fav! Anything by Colleen is fantastic!
My favorite Colleen book has always been Hopeless. When I read this book, as I was reading it I didn’t feel. But after a few hours the book just hit me. All the started flooding me. I believe Colleen hit it out of the ballpark with Ugly Love. As with all her books, this is perfection. But this was a special kind of perfection. The format, the words, the descriptions. It was poetic, it was breathtaking, it was ugly. Kudos, Colleen, you’ve done it again. You’ve got this!
Hello definitely Hopeless!
I have read all of Colleen Hoovers books except Ugly Love! My personal favorite is Slammed! I do LOVE them all though!, ♥♡♥♡
I have loved all of Colleen’s books, but my favorite us toss up between Slammed and Hopeless. Starting Ugly Love tonight – I’m excited, but also a little scared!!
I can’t pick just one. I loved Maybe Someday. And Hopeless… Wow!!! Then she went and published Losing Hope. I can’t wait to read Ugly Love. Love me some CoHo!!!

Slammed series. But from what I am hearing Ugly Love will be my new fav! I hope I win thank you for the chance!
My favourite Colleen book is “Maybe Someday”. It is written SO BEAUTIFULLY, the story is so wonderful, Ridge is so much more than a book character… He is his own person. It is amazing
I love Colleen!
Ugly Love has been my first book by Colleen Hoover and all I have to say is that I love it and cannot wait to read all her previous books. I instantly became a fan and I cannot believe how I´ve never read anything about her before. Also awesome giveaway!
Slammed series are still my favorite but Ugly Love came darn close!!
I have not read any of Colleen Hoover’s books yet, so this would be an awesome chance to do so. Thanks for an awesome giveaway 🙂
I love Hopeless the most because it was the first book I read by Colleen 🙂
Oh goodness my fav! I LOVE all of her books! They all have pretty much the same effect on me. CoHo is amazing at pulling all kinds of emotions out of you and pulling you in. Maybe Someday is one that’s stuck with me! I had a wicked hangover from Ridge! I get teary eyed just thinking about that story.
Hopeless/Losing Hope will always be my favorites. I loved Holder & Sky – my favorite parts were the best first kiss in the history of kisses, and the ‘ego-deflating’ texts. Thanks for the chance!!
Slammed. It was the first book by Colleen that I read and it is still my favorite. Maybe Someday is a close second. The soundtrack is amazing.
I didn’t think I could love anything by Colleen more than Slammed, but Ugly Love is now by far my favorite! I have never felt so many emotions in one book. It was remarkable. I am awed!
It’s a tough call between Slammed & Maybe Someday…though all of her books are great!
Thanks for the giveaway!!
Every time I read a new CoHo book it becomes my favorite! So can I say all of them? LOL. Ugly Love was really amazing though. Loved. Every. Single. Word.
It’s a hard call on which book is my favorite, but at the moment, Ugly Love is on my brain. I finished it yesterday and it was just an amazing read.
Hopeless was the first colleen hoover book I read. I was stunned and amazed at the writing. Truly felt like I was living the book with them. I have read everything she has written since and love every book. She blows my mind every darn time.
Oh my god… I loved Slammed because it introduced me into one of my new favorite authors
Hopeless is most definitely my favorite so far. It broke my heart and put it back together. Definitely a story full of pain, love, hope & forgiveness. However, I do enjoy all of her books.
My favorite book by Mrs Hoover is Maybe Someday. I loved the music that went along with the book! Absolutley amazing!
I love all of Colleen’s books but if a had to choose a favorite it would have to be Hopeless.
I LOVE every Colleen Hoover book. So hard to pick a favorite but Slammed remains my favorite.
I haven’t read Ugly Love yet, but my favourite by Colleen will certainly always be Slammed. I totally fell in love with her writing, characters and story. It’s one of the few books that made me emotional and attached to the characters. And Will Cooper is, of course, a total sweetheart! Last but not least, it introduced me to the amazing band that is The Avett Brothers, I’ve been a huge fan ever since, so thanks Colleen!
And thank you for the chance 🙂
Slammed is my favorite Colleen Hoover book <3 It´s so beautiful and it made me see life in a different way, it has a very special place in my heart
Slammed. This was the first book I read by Colleen and it was what made me fall in love with her writing. All of her books were amazing but Slammed started it all for me and well it started it for Colleen as well.
Ugly love is one of my favorite books ever I read it in one day, this book touched me in many ways. Starting with the fact with them loosing their baby because I have been in those shoes and it’s hard for yourself to ever be happy and to wanna love anymore. I’m so glad it all ended the way it did. My heart was so full by the end, I’m pretty sure I cried several times. I’d so love to win , Colleen Hoover is at the very tip top of favorite authors!
I have read all of her books but Maybe someday was so amazing and so special that it is a definite favorite of mine. That story was really emotional and fantastic. I look forward to reading Ugly love to see if I have a new favorite. Thanks for the giveaway 🙂
Maybe Someday!
I will have to pick Ugly Love I haven’t read any of her books but I have already started.
There is no way I could pick just one book of hers as the best. Her books showed me what a book hangover was. I haven’t read Ugly Love yet because we have been on a family vacation and my husband made me promise to not bring my Kindle 🙁 I cannot wait to get home!!!
Ugly Love is my favorite, but I loved all the others too.
I have read all of her books except Ugly Love so far. I think Hopeless would have to be my favorite!
Maybe Someday is favorite CoHo book so far! I haven’t finished Ugly Love yet so that may change. 😉
Hopeless is my absolute favorite book… ever. I haven’t read UL yet because I have no extra $… Thanks for having a fab giveaway! I have my fingers crossed.
Slammed is my favorite Colleen Hoover book!
Slammed will always hold that special piece of my heart. I absolutely love that series. I also loved Ugly Love, but for different reasons. I think Colleen’s books just seem to get better and better quality-wise.
I LIVE all of Colleen’s books so this isn’t fair!! Slammed will always be a fav cause it started the obsession with CoHo and the Avett Brothers!!!
Love all of Colleen’s books but Hopeless and Maybe Someday are my favorites.
I’ve loved all of her books! But I guess if I had to pick only one it would be Slammed. The first Colleen Hoover book I read and the one that made me fall in love with her writing! I bought when it had first come out and because it was at a very low price and I thought, why not? I’m so glad I did!
I haven’t read any yet because I’ve been struggling to decide on which one to buy first! I follow Colleen on Facebook, and I saw you were doing this giveaway. What an awesome thing for you to do!! Good luck to everyone!
I have read all of colleens books. Until Ugly Love, Hopeless was by far my favorite! But Ugly Love has taken the #1 spot for me now! Exactly what you said in your review…I felt Tate’s pain, I felt Miles’s tears when he shed them. Colleen is a genius!
I love every one of Colleen Hoover’s books! They get better and better! I can’t just pick one book that affected me because every single one of her books have affected me in one way or another. She is such an amazing author!
hopeless <3 <3
Colleen Hoover is my favorite author and I love all her books so much! If I had to pick one favorite it’d probably be Slammed cause that’s the book that started my CoHo obsession. 🙂
Favorite Colleen Hoover book is hands down Slammed. However, all of her books are so amazing! I have finally found my way back to my love of reading. I thank Colleen Hoover for that. Her books, each with such a powerful story and so eloquently written! I have truly become one of her biggest fans!!!
Love…love..nlove colleen hoovers books!!! Slammed and point of retreat are my favorite. I am a poetry writer myself and the butterfly scene is beautiful. ..butterflies are my absolute love!!!
My favourite Colleen Hoover book is Maybe Someday. That book just gutted me and really got to me. I felt everything that was said and the twist was unbelievable. It was wonderful. Though Ugly Love is a really close second. I fell in love right away with Miles. And his heart-wrenching story.
I loved the Slammed series!!
Ugly Love is my favorite. I absolutely love it! I cried like a baby.
I read almost all books by Colleen Hoover and I’m in love for every single one. She’s amazing. I can’t wait to read Ugly Love and fall in love for it, too! *-*
The only one I have read so far is Hopeless and it was great!! I would love to be able to read more of her awesome work 🙂
Hopeless 😀
I think Hopeless is still my favorite. I loved Sky and Holder’s story.
I loved the Slammed series. Will was so sweet and just everything about it! It was funny, sad, maddening at times. Also they were in Ypsilanti, Mi close to my home! Thanks so much for the chance! Everything Colleen writes is perfection!! 🙂
Slammed was like my first born in Hoover’s books because it was what started me reading her works. Plus that I love slam poetry! And it changed my perception on the student-prof relationship. 🙂
Maybe Someday was my favorite among them all! Ridge was like my ideal man for all time. Warts and all! It was one of the rare books that made me cry buckets.
And then, UGLY LOVE came. Oh God! How do I start with this novel? It’s just beyond words what this book did to me. Miles. Miles. Miles. He ruined me for future book boyfriends. And Tate just became my favorite heroine. I admire her for her love and patience, and the things she was willing to do and not do for her love. Ugly Love was just so beautiful. It was the kind of story you wouldn’t mind reading over… and over… and over… again and again and again.
For everyone who haven’t read any Colleen Hoover book yet. You missed one half of your literary life! And I really, literally mean that! 🙂
Slammed is also my all time favourite, but I really liked Ugly Love too.
Picking my favorite CoHo book is like trying to pick a favorite niece (I have 13 of them.) Slammed will always hold a special place in my heart. But I absolutely loved Maybe Someday and don’t even get me started on Ugly Love. It was Phenominal!! I couldn’t put it down!!
Thanks for the amazing giveaway and great review!
Maybe Someday is my favorite so far!
For me, every CoHo book just gets better and better. I loved the Slammed series, but I REALLY loved Hopeless. I didn’t think it could get better than that…..until Maybe Someday. Holy book hangover!
I’ve been in a 2 week long book funk. Nothing has held my interest, so I just stopped reading. I’m diving into Ugly Love tonight. I have no doubt that Colleen’s writing will be able to cure me.
Colleen has an amazing talent as a story teller. Every book she writes draws out every emotion possible. The highs..lows..goofy grins…tears..me cursing her..I Love it! My favorite would have to be Slammed simply because it’s the first book I read by her…and it kinda got me addicted to all things Colleen Hoover. <3
Maybe Someday is my favorite. But Ugly Love is slowly taking over. I loved this book so much it brought out so many emotions I don’t even know how to explain it!
Colleen H. is great writer, I love everything what she writes, but my friends love Hopeless [only Hopeless is published in Serbia 🙁 ] and Maybe Someday.
I can’t pick my favorite CoHo book because I love them all so much!,
My favorite is Finding Cinderella but Maybe Someday and Ugly Love are on my to read list!
I haven’t read Ugly Love yet but I am torn between Losing Hope and Hopeless. Slammed. Finding Cinderella are both great too! I can’t pick and im sure when I read Ugly Love itll just add to the other amazing books Colleen Hoover wrote!
My favorite Colleen Hoover book is Hopeless for so many reasons!! I connected with Sky on a very personal way, it was such an emotional read for me. Also it was the one and only book my Grandma ever recommended to me. I loved talking to her about it, it is by far the best real life book memory I have. Now that she is very sick, I will hold on to that memory for the rest of my life, and I love Colleen for giving that experience with my Grandma.
I loved Slammed. I’ve read the others too, but this one stayed with me.Can’t wait to read Ugly love. Thanks for the awesome giveaway! Fingers crossed! 😀
I fell in love with Maybe Someday. Such a different kind of story. It was so amazing, I could not put it down.
My Favorite Colleen Hoover book is Loosing Hope. I think it’s a pretty emotional book. It’s a book where you learn a couple of things like : love and forgivenes. Sky is a girl that even when she learns the thruth she finds a way of how to deal with it, and I love that Holder would do anything for her. Her aunt is the kind of person that always looks out of the only family that she has left. This book shows importance of : love, family, friends, thruth and forgivenes. Colleen Hoover is a great Writer and she has more awesome books.
I have read all of Colleen Hoover’s books and I think Maybe Someday is my favorite or possibly Hopeless. Ugly Love is a great book, but it was really hard for me to read. I think Colleen Hoover did to good of a job expressing the emotion the characters experienced and with some of my own personal life experiences it was too much for me. It is still a book I would recommend for others to read and is a great story written very well just not one I can reread.
I think Slammed will remain my favorite since it was the first book of Hoover’s that I read. I love her sense of humor and the characters she develops.
Of course I love all of Colleen’s books, but Ridge stole my heart. I’ve never felt as I was feeling the characters feelings as I read as much as I did with them. And I absolutely love you Maryse!! Your reviews and lists keep me going.
Maybe Someday… I couldn’t help but fall in love with Ridge! *Sigh* Absolutely an amazing and beautiful story.
My favorite Colleen Hoover book is Slammed. Will Cooper was my first BBF. I love Will and Lake! ❤️
Hopeless and it was amazing!!! Thanks for the chance
Love Colleen Hoover!! Ugly Love was fabulous but there is something about Maybe Someday that I love more! This blog is what really helped me learn about many new authors and I value your recommendations!!! Also, my birthday was this week and it would be a fantastic birthday present to win this 🙂 Thanks for the chance!
I loved ALL of Colleen’s books!! If you haven’t read any then you are definitely missing out and need to start ASAP!
Fantastic review (as always, Maryse!) My favorite, so far, has to be Maybe Someday. There was just something about that book…or maybe it was EVERYTHING about that book that moved me and hit every single one of my FEELS buttons. the music, the forbidden kind of love, the unique characters. ALL OF IT.
<3
Last, but not least, Thank you for the amazing giveaway opportunity!
I was told by a good friend of mine that I had to buy this amazing book called Slammed by Colleen Hoover ASAP! I am so glad I listened to my friend 🙂
I loved Hopeless, Slammed and Point of Retreat! I could not put them down. I just bought Ugly Love and will start it tonight!! I can’t wait!!
I LOVED Hopeless! I love dark and twisty back stories. However, I am reading Ugly Love tomorrow! 😀 But, those are the only books I have by her (and I know that I will love her others too!), so I’m really crossing my fingers that I win!
I loved Hopeless and I can’t wait to read Ugly Love! Hope she keep writing forever and ever!!
hello , sorry i dont speak english very well
Slammed .. I love this one sooo much … awesome book ..
I loved loved loved Slammed! Of course I love all of her books but that one is my fave.
I don’t know that I could pick one. I absolutely adore everything the woman writes. Each book holds a special place in my heart for different reasons. Just finished Ugly Love, and loved it 😉
So hard to pick between Slammed and Hopeless! Colleen Hoover is hands down, my favorite author!
Definitely Slammed. Hoping to get started on Ugly Love this weekend!
I havnt read The Slammed ser or Ugly Love yet. So I will pick my first Collen Hoover read, Hopeless!!!
Up until now Hopeless was my favorite, but then I read Ugly Love and it captivated my soul… I didn’t think any book could too Hopeless, but I was wrong. It was beautifully written and I felt so connected to the characters. Love Colleen!!
Loved Hopeless and Losing Hope.
it captivated and drew me into the lives of Sky and Holder. So thought provoking to think that something like that could actually happen and to find each other was just precious. Their jouney to discovery was beautiful, heartbreaking and triumphant. It blew me away.
slammed series ❤️❤️❤️ i loved the story. the best books i’ve ever read.
My favorite book is Slammed. It was so soul sucking, gut wrenching and really hit home. Dealing with my own grief, this book helped me to stop carving pumpkins and move forward. It literally changed my life.
My favourite Colleen Hoover book is hopeless 🙂
I’ve loved every book I’ve read by Colleen Hoover so I will just say Hopeless is my favorite since it was my first one.
Hopeless was book crack!! It was the first book I read by her and I have been hooked ever since!!!
This book wasn’t my favorite Colleen Hoover book, but it was the one that made me think the most. I loved this book because it challenged me and made me seriously question my preconceived notions. I was one of many who had a hard time with Tate and was quick to judge her and her situation. It’s funny that you used the word ‘strength’ because that’s exactly what I thought when I sat down and truly looked at the situation from all angles. In fact, here’s a note I wrote for myself:
“If I were in her situation, I’d have walked away a LONG time ago. Or at least, I think I would’ve. And look at everything I’d have missed out on (seriously, that epilogue was amazing!)… Is Tate weak, or is it really that she’s stronger than all of us who judge her. Those of us who are too scared to give someone our all b/c we will get hurt…”
That’s just one of the many epiphanies I had when reading this one. I love Colleen for writing a book that was complex enough to leave it’s mark.
I loved Finding Cinderella.
I’m 75% into Ugly Love and seriously. I have so many feels I can’t even imagine what’s going to happen to me when I read the last word! Ha!
I love all of Colleen’s books! But my absolute favorite is Slammed. 🙂
I can’t even begin to choose one or her books I don’t love. I first read Slammed and was instantly hooked! I butterflying loved it!! Then i read the rest of the series and then went to read Hopeless and that was amazing as well!! Then Maybe Someday really rounded up how much I love her writing and story telling. So if I had to choose I would say ALL OF THEM!!
She is my favorite author. Slammed will always be my fav, I think. I will never get over Will and Lake. But Ugly Love has bumped Hopeless from #2. I haven’t even started a new book cuz I just want to marinate in Miles and Tate for awhile.
I loved hopeless the best but slammed was amazing too
Completely hooked on Colleen Hoover. I read everything she writes!
Slammed has been my favorite of all, but after reading Ugly Love, there us a hyge conflict. Miles made me laugh, made me cry, made me love him!!
Maybe Someday is my favorite Colleen Hoover book! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I can’t pick just one!!! I’m a huge fan and I’ll buy anything she writes!
I want to read them all!
Every book that Colleen Hoover writes is my favorite until the next one that I read. She can do no wrong. I loved Finding Cinderella and Slammed but I think Ugly Love is my new favorite. Perfection.
I really like finding cinderella. Haven’t had a chance to get my hands on ugly love. But can’t wait to
I just read the epilogue of Finding Cinderella yesterday, so I will say Hopeless. Oh how I love Dean Holder.
Going into reading Ugly Love, my favorite Colleen Hoover book was Maybe Someday. But now after Ugly Love, I’m not sure! Ugly Love was an incredible ride through this dark journey of a man who refuses to love again, and the girl who so desperately wishes she could change that. I absolutely LOVE Colleen Hoover’s writing style and this book took that love to another level. The poetic flow to Miles’ chapters about what happened 6 years ago was fantastic. I loved the way the words were shaped on the page to mimic the emotion and feel behind them. This book gave me all sorts of feels from happiness, love, sadness, and sympathy for the characters. Colleen Hoover never disappoints!
I’m not sure I could pick a favorite, but if I had to choose just one I would have to say Finding Cinderella. The humor along with the seriousness of the book to me was great. I love her and can’t wait to read Ugly Love.
Hopeless is my overall favorite Colleen Hoover book, but my favorite Colleen Hoover scene is in Maybe Someday. The scene where Ridge left the hospital to go tell Sydney goodbye and he spoke for the first time since he was a little boy…Killed. Me. I need that book to be a movie because I need an audio/visual of that scene. Love her books!!
Slammed!!!
My favorite was Maybe Someday. The integration of the music lifted the book to another level. It brought out so many emotions in me….that I didn’t feel when I initially read it….(I plowed through my first reading without stopping to play the music) This book was pure genius.
Maybe someday!
Hopeless is my favorite of all time! I swear I’ve made everyone I know read it too, because it just blew me away. Love everything Colleen writes!
Finding Cinderella was my Favorite Book of Colleens but I loved Hopeless and Losing Hope too and know I will love Ugly Love too
Thanks for the giveaway! 🙂
“Hopeless” I would love to win for my birthday on the 12th!
Point of Retreat is my favorite.
This book hit me hard with the his loss having experienced loss such as that.
I love everything Colleen has ever written but Ugly Love is my absolute favorite. Sorry Holder. 😉
The only book I had read so far is Hopeless. It was awesome. I would love to read all colleens books. I think Ugly Love sounds awesome. I would love to read it!!!
I absolutely LOVED this book. Your review was great also! I’m currently reading the slammed series and loving it too!
Colleen Hoover ripped my soul apart with Ugly Love and then carefully sewed it back together. Ugly Love is one of those reads that captures your heart and never let’s go. Loved it !!!!
I love Hopeless the mostest!
I would so love to win this prize package. Maybe Someday would have to be my fav! Thanks for the chance
Ugly Love just gutted me, eviscerated me, tore, ripped, shredded me apart and put me back together again. I can’t even know what to do with myself right now. Serious, brutal book hangover!
Ugly Love was just that. It was ugly. It was love. It wrecked me. Tore me into shreds. Pulverized my heart. Then it put it back together again. Healed me and reminded me why we take a chance on love. Reminded me why I love Colleen Hoover. Definitely a recommended read.
I really really love Slammed! The slams are perfect! So sweet and everything. Really love the story! And also Maybe Someday! Yay! I hope i get to have all of Colleen Hoovers’s books!
The only Colleen Hoover book I’ve read is Finding Cinderella, which I loved!
I love all of Colleen Hoover ‘ s books but Hopeless is my favorite book by her and Ugly Love is a close second.
Loved Slammed!!!

I think colleen is a Amazing super talented author.. im such of her!!! Well thank you for this AWESOME giveaway!! Fingers and toes crossed with a diet pepsi to drink for good luck 😉
Oh, I don’t think I can really pick a favorite. Colleen is such a great author! I haven’t had the chance to read Ugly Love yet but is in my library waiting for a rainy day off!
Phenomenal author. Loved all her books in different ways. Could never choose one over another. Would love to get my hands on Ugly Love. ☺️
Great review Maryse! I agree with you about all of it. I love Colleens style. Her books are always so relatable and emotional. My favorite book so far is Maybe Someday, but Ugly Love falls close behind. All I can say is that I can not wait to read what comes next from her. I am in absolute awe of her. <3
Slammed is still my favorite because it was my first Colleen book and ya know it had Will Cooper in it! LOL Ugly Love was absolutely amazing though…Colleen never disappoints.
I just have to say that this giveaway is so freaking amazing that I would seriously probably need to be medicated if I won!
Colleen Hoover is my ULTIMATE author and my favorite book is UGLY LOVE! I devoured every single word and I am still thinking about it, talking about it. I love the Colleen word weaver magic and that I FEEL everything that is in the book…I am there, I get it, I hurt because they hurt…..it takes a truly special author to be able to do it and the thing is she does it EVERY FREAKING BOOK! My heart actually hurt after reading Ugly Love and I want to reread it again….see…Pure magic!
Slammed is still my all time favorite, but I LOVE them all. Colleen Hoover is my Elvis. I lurve her.
Since it was the first one I read, I’m gonna have to go with Hopeless!
It’s so hard to pick between Maybe Someday and Ugly Love, both kept me up til the early hours of the morning because I was unable to put them down. Though, Slammed was the first book I read by her so that one is kind of special because that’s how I first found her on Goodreads and now she’s one of those authors that I will read anything by. So many amazing books, it’s hard to pick just one!
New to Collleen Hoover books. My daughter recommended them to me. I haven’t read any yet.
I love all of her books, but Hopeless is probably my favorite!!!
I haven’t read it yet! I want this book so bad! 🙂
Maybe someday…… It was shared with me & was Awesome! But would love Love to read “”UGLY LOVE” ::)
This book makes me feel heartbroken and happy all at once. It was such an amazing sad , happy book.
Hopeless is my favorite.
Thanks a lot for the giveaway!
Open internationally! That’s so rare! So thé truth is that I have never read a Colleen Hoover book but I’m dying to since I started to follow her facebook page (it was a condition for another giveaway a few months ago). Her books are on my personnal wishlist and it would be fantastic to win this giveaway but good luck to everyone and thanks for this great giveaway!
I’ve only read Slammed so far and I loved it. I’m hoping to read Maybe Someday this month, and Point of Retreat and This Girl maybe. I own Ugly Love. I should really get on it soon. Everyone is raving about it!
Ugly love is my favorite i think. It’s either that or hopeless. All great books give me goosebumps. This book gave me goosebumps for two hours. I was just so in love with Miles. Don’t get me wrong he has issues but don’t we all. His made me love him more.
I have everyone of her books.
My fav is also Slammed, so gut wrenching, but eventually a happy ending.
Hopeless hit so close to home for me. I don’t know if I have ever sobbed quite like that through another book. But it also had, as corny as it sounds, such a hope to it that made it different than books with similar subject matter.
Love love love Maybe Someday! An awesome and unique story! Can’t wait to read Ugly Love
Of all CoHo books, my fave is Maybe Someday. Ever since I was a kid, I loved music. I agree that music connects every single person in the world. We are a music loving family. I entered high school joining choirs and singing contests. And on my senior year, that’s when I started to pen songs. I was totally inspired by my guy best friend. But at that time he was wooing some other girl. I try my best to get his attention, to notice me. I help him out on his homeworks, missed activities since he was part of a band and also a varsity player.
After reading Maybe Someday, I felt that it has some similarities with what happened to me before. So I guess I must say it really is my fave book. My best friend and I didn’t end together though. But he knew what I felt through the lyrics of the songs I wrote for him.
Hopeless! ♥ My sister read Maybe Someday, but I haven’t. By the way she described it, it will probably be my favorite (the same will probably go for Ugly Love, too!)
I have been Colleen Hoover’s fan ever since I read Slammed. Every book she has written thus far has been amazing! They are all my favorite books and she is my favorite author of all time…….yes, OF. ALL. TIME. I would love to win this awesome prize. Thanks for the opportunity!
Sincerely,
Colleen Hoover’s #1 Fan
I really loved Ugly Love. No book has EVER made me have butterflies the entire way through. I just loved all the emotion and the beautiful poetry through out the book. It’s beautifully written. And it has earned it’s spot at number 1 favorite CoHo book to me.
Loved loved loved Maybe someday and Finding Cinderella. Currently reading Ugly Love Colleen Hoover is my hero!
I swear my phone hates me! My comment above. Should say I loved everyone of her books
I cant pick a favorite colleen hoover book….. I’ve read all eight and love them all!! She is my far my favorite author! I have even started doing sweet and suck with my kids every night ♡♡
My favorite is Hopeless. It was the first book i read so it holds a special place in my heart
My favorite Colleen Hoover book is the very first one I ever read of hers, Hopeless. After that, I’ll read any single one of her books. Not just once either, over and over. I love that woman!
Well that’s a hard choice. It would have to be slammed, point of retreat and this girl. And most of all your awesome. Thanks
My favorite Colleen Hoover book has to be Hopeless, I was drawn in and I couldn’t put it down. I would love to win. Thanks for the chance
Loved Ugly Love, but my favorite all time CoHo book is Maybe Someday 🙂
My all time favorite Colleen Hoover book is Slammed!
My favorite book by Colleen is Maybe Someday. It was brilliant from the first word until the very last. I read it all night long, which I only do when reading a masterpiece. I never expected Ridge to be deaf especially knowing that the music was such a big part of the book. To make the masterpiece better was the music that was embedded into it. That was a brilliant idea that worked beautifully! I listen to Griffin’s music all the time.
I honestly love all of her books, she is such an amazing writer! I haven’t read Ugly Love yet but I am sooo exited! Thanks for the review, I can’t wait to read this book!!
My first Colleen Hoover book experience was Slammed (& Point of Retreat). It was the most amazing book I had ever read. I told everyone about it. Will Cooper was my ultimate book boyfriend. I swore my next child would be named Layken. Then I read the Hopeless books. They became the most amazing books I had ever read. Dean Holder…oh my!! I told those same people about these books!! Then came along Maybe Someday. Oh holy…Ridge. Yes. Yes. Yes. I’m so NOT musically talented (but I’m sonewhat obsessed with music) but I would write music with him anyday! Along comes Ugly Love.
Fell.
Fell.
Fell.
Completely.
In.
Love.
It’s hard to put into words how much I loved this book. I absolutely adored Tate. She was so easy to relate to. Truly…who wouldn’t do what she did?? I would & have put up with a lot of the crap just hoping he would come around. She was willing to take anything, even just that little bit of him, just because it was SOMETHING. Miles killed me at times. Loved it through it all though. Now Ugly Love is my favorite Colleen book. I know the next will follow suit. She never fails to amaze me.
Slammed is my favorite CoHo book! It was the first and it made me fall in love with her writing! ❤️❤️
My fave CoHo book is Hopeless! As for Ugly Love, I can’t talk about it now (still feeling it/processing).
My favorite CoHo book so far is definitely Maybe Someday! The emotions were so raw, real, and the music/lyrics in the book was the topping on the cake! 🙂
My favorite CoHo book is Slammed!! It was my first CoHo book and has stayed with me ever since. I love her books!
Slammed and Point Of Retreat are my absolute favourites I butterflying love them <3
My favorite Colleen Hoover book is usually whichever one she has just released because she just keeps getting better and better. When I think she can’t do anything more unique, she stuns us all and does it. This one is unbelievable! I loved Ugly Love, and it would be hard to make something better than Maybe Someday, which was amazing with the music, and shockingly better than Hopeless/Losing Hope… See what I mean?? I can’t wait to see what she comes up with next.
Slammed!! I love her works!
I haven’t read any of her books yet. I would love to win. Thanks for the chance.
My favorite book is Hopeless. I haven’t read anything else, but I do have Colleen on facebook, instagram, and twitter and she cracks me up. She’s so funny and I just love how she interacts with her fans. She seems so down to earth and i’m just saving to buy all her books, but if I win that would be awesome! Thanks!
Never read any, but they come highly recommended!
Point of Retreat is my favorite book by Colleen. I butterflying love it so much!
Maybe Someday is my favorite so far. I had a “book hangover” for weeks after reading it. It put me through so many emotions.
Haven’t read any- yet! Gotta start somewhere!
Every one has been 5 stars. Maybe Hopeless would be on top. Only author I’ve given all 5 stars to.
So hard to pick a favorite! But, I would say the Slammed series is my favorite because it was my first Colleen Hoover book and got me hooked on all things CoHo 🙂
Hopeless and Losing Hope always hold a special place in my heart. I have not read the new one yet but it’s next on my list. So we will see
My favorite book is Slammed, but I still love her other books also.
Hopeless is my favorite book by Colleen Hoover. I think it is because it was the first one I read.
Maybe Someday and Hopeless are my favorite. It’s impossible for me to choose between the two. They are both amazing and perfect!
I love Maybe Someday! I haven’t read Ugly Love, yet. 🙁 thanks for this opportunity
I loved Slammed, and Hopeless…. what I love about C Hoover is that you get a complete book: no trilogy or series to wait for, no cliffhangers…. just a solid, good read full of emotion and characters so real you feel it even more deeply because of it. And in this day and age when everyone is writing novellas and cliffhangers galore, it is very, very refreshing to be satisfied at the end of one book!
Slammed and Maybe Someday…. or is it Maybe Someday or Slammed …. or maybe its one or the other. I loved the poetry in one and the music in another, and both of those are my first loves… so I can’t choose….. eennie meanie minny moe….
So Ugly Love was my first Colleen Hoover book, but after reading it, I know it will not be my last. It was utterly fantastic, and was so freaking emotional. I’m currently on vacation in Disney World, and I finished reading the book today while in a never ending line for a ride. Needless to say I was having an emotional breakdown and fighting tears in that line because of this book. And. I. Loved. It. Miles and Tate were just phenomenal, and the emotional journey in this book was spectacular, even when it broke my heart and brought me to tears in the “Happiest Place on Earth.”
Hello! 🙂 All books by CH are the absolute best!
My favorite book has been maybe someday! But that may change once I finish this one…only 36% in!
I love all of Colleens books but Hopeless is still my favorite
Maybe someday was my favorite but now that I’ve read ugly love I think this one is my new favorite!!! But knowing Colleen Hoover her next one will become my new favorite 😉
First, thank you for this awesome review and the giveaway. While I absolutely loved Ugly Love, Maybe Someday will always hold a special place in my heart because of the way Colleen made me see past Ridge’s disability. Do I have an absolute favorite of her books… um… no… cannot say that I do because of the way each of her books have affected me.
I’m so sorry to admit I haven’t read any of Colleen’s books. From the comments above, I guess I am missing out & need to start!
Maybe someday! Read it twice in one week!
Slammed was my favorite, but I’m about 1/4th the way thru ugly love and I’m thinking that could all change…
Maybe Someday. OMG the book is awesome and the music to due for…
Loved Losing Hope. Ugly Love is just awesome. Don’t know which I love more!
I can choose only one book, I think I’m gonna die if I have ti choose, bit muy favorites are Slammed and Maybe someday
Has to be Hopeless!!!! I’ve read it at least 4 times!!!
The other day someone asked me “which one is your favorite book” and I never had an answer to that because I’ve read so many different books that I could never pick only one… But this time I answered :”Slammed”.
It’s a book that had so much impact in me, all the emotions that I went thru when reading every page.. That now I do have a favorite book. And became instantly a huge fan.
It’s hard for me to pick a favorite book of Colleen’s. I’ve loved them all. I really enjoyed Maybe Someday. Listening to the music while reading it was amazing.
Thanks for the giveaway Maryse!
So far, Maybe Someday is my favorite but I have to get caught up on a few of her other books! I can’t wait to read Ugly Love!!
Just finished Ugly and I am ugly crying! So good. I can’t say I have a favorite Colleen Hoover book because all of hers are fantastic! I always look forward to her next ones!
My most fave book of CoHo is Slammed. This book introduced me to CoHo and how great her works are.. I love the mother-daughter relationship and most of all I love Will!!!! <3
Maybe Someday was the first book of hers I read and after that I was hooked. The thing about Colleen Hoover’s writing is that it spoke to me in a way that is almost indescribable. I have had a lifetime dream of becoming an author, but I never had confidence in myself to actually write anything. After reading Maybe Someday, that all changed. Maybe it was the way Sydney braced opportunity to write music and went with it. Or maybe it was the fact that even despite his handicap, Ridge made beautiful music. I looked up to the characters in the book, at first, but in all reality I look up to Colleen Hoover. I’m 26, and if you asked me where I see myself in ten years I would say that I see myself as a published author. A lot of people look up to celebrities. Well I look up to Colleen Hoover!
Oh! And by the way, Ugly Love! Sweet baby Jesus in a wicker basket. I experienced EVERY damn emotion in the book possible. I finished it in six and a half hours. I put my daughter to bed eight and before I knew it I was turning the last page. If I had more than two thumbs, I would give more than two! 🙂
Slammed is still my favorite, but I love reading what she writes, Love Her!
So usually it takes me about a week to read a book, Ugly love yeah less than a day!!! I was sneaking my iPad into my work restroom just to read, I couldn’t put this book down. Miles broke my heart but how Tate picked up and mended it just blew me away!!! Wow Colleen I have read all of your books and I thought Maybe Someday was out of this world but this book was out of this galaxy!!! This book showed how much Colleen has grown as an author and how her creativity is just unique!! And then she has to go and add beautiful songs to go along with it! I must have GriffIn Peterson on repeats in my car, love the way these two artist got together and created a masterpiece and for that I thank you Colleen!!
Slammed and Hopeless!!
Have not had the pleasure of reading one of her books…but I can see I really am missing out! Would love to start with this collection! !!!
I LOVE them all, but find Hopeless to be incredibly special!! But then again, there’s something about that Will Cooper….
I love the slammed series the best!!!!!!
Colleen Hoover has outdone herself again!! Amazing story!!!
I haven’t read any of her books yet but I’ve been saving up for them – I especially can’t wait to read Ugly Love!!
Hopeless was my favorite so far! I’m currently reading Slammed, but am looking forward to reading Ugly Love. I love Colleen Hoover! 🙂
I have only read Hopeless, and I loved it. I am planning on reading other Colleen Hoover books in the future.
I have read every single book by Colleen, and I have loved every single one of them….However….Ugly Love was just ……..W.O.W!!
She really out did herself with this one.
I loved every Ugly second of it!
No I’m pumped for February!
Thanks for the giveaway! It’s an awesome one!!
Colleen Hoover is an amazing author. My favorite book is definitely Hopeless (the whole series really). Love all her books though. I can’t wait to read Ugly Love.
Holy Cow!!!!! I’m speechless!
I can’t say that Hopeless is my favorite book by Colleen Hoover, because it’s the only one you can find in my country. So it’s also the only one I’ve read. But I LOVED IT! Can’t wait to read them all.
Loved them all but I think Hopeless is still my favorite!
I can’t and I won’t choose which is my favorite Colleen Hoover book because each of it is as unique and as awesome of the other. Looking forward for her next book!
Haven’t had a chance to read any of Colleen Hover’s books. But everyone is raving about Ugly Love. Would like a chance Thank you!
I LOVE her books! Each new one just sucks me in and tops a list of all my favorites! It’s pretty rare that I read a book and as soon as I finish just start reading it all over again but I find myself doing just that with Colleen Hoover’s books!
My favorite is Slammed, for MANY reasons. but mostly because it introduced me to Colleen Hoover. I love her so much. I am a lifelong reader,I’ve read a bit of everything. She is as good as or better than anyone I’ve ever read. Her writing seems effortless, and reading her books is like having a conversation with an old friend. I think she’s brilliant, but at the same time so accessible. That’s what makes her so special for myself as well as the thousands of others who love her and her books as much as I do!
Finding Cinderella was the one I love most
I’ve only read one Colleen Hoover book and I really enjoyed it! Maybe Someday. Hopefully I will be able to read more soon!
Loved Hopeless
I think my favorite is Maybe Someday. Although, I’m still processing Ugly Love. And the only thing I can say about it is, Ho. Ly. Shit! Lol
I absolutely love Colleen Hoover. All her books are amazing!! Just finished Ugly Love and surprise surprise….i loved it! My favorite though is Hopless. The first book of hers I read. Thanks for the chance at this give away! 🙂
Definitely Slammed!!!
I loved hopeless. This is such a great giveaway!
My favorite Colleen Hoover book is slammed because that’s where it all started. 🙂
I absolutely LOVED Slammed. Will and Lake and every slam were (I thought ) at the time my all-time favorite books. Then I was introduced to Holder & Sky and their books. It’s amazing that each story is unique. I love to be turned for a loop. Maybe Someday is now my favorite book along with my fav. music. I purchased Ugly Love but haven’t opened it yet. I am afraid & anxious & excited to start. But wonder if I’ll be disappointed because Collen is high on my pedistal . Then I give my head a shake, that’s not possible . Would love to meet her parents they must be some pretty cool parents to allow that creativity to blossom!
My favorite book would be Hopeless. I love Holder till I die. But, I love CAP from Ugly Love.
Finding Cinderella!
I LOVED both Maybe Someday and Ugly Love. Colleen is a literary genius!
I have read three of her books and loved every one but my all time favorite is “maybe someday”. I think it’s because I dated a deaf person. I love when somebody can look past a disability. It shows character. Ugly love is my next purchase. 🙂
I loved hopeless! That book touched me! I could only wonder how often something like that had really happened!
just discovered Colleen Hoover…just read hopeless 2 times…just amazing..wok have to read them all..I’m hooked!
Thank you for the chance! I’ve read every book and Slammed is still my all time favorite.
Slammed, I love it! I love the slammed series. I am yet to read the rest of colleens books but I hope I will get the chance to soon!

Thanks!
Hopeless is my all time favorite book! I am dying to read Ugly Love but due to school I have to wait a few months! Pick meeee
I can’t pick just one fav of CoHo’s books because they are all simply amazing…. Each one better than the next!!!!
I seriously love all the books I have read by Colleen Hoover. The Slammed trilogy was so much love and tragedy. It was the first book that I had cried reading. But Hopeless was defiantly my ultimate favorite I don’t think anyone saw what was going to happen. It broke my heart but it also repaired it by the love of Sky & Holder.
I love Slammed & Point of Retreat. I wasn’t sure how the rest of her books would compare. When I read Hopeless it was just as great. I thought there’s no way the rest can be just as great and didn’t read anymore. Eventually I wore down and completely loved Maybe Someday. I couldn’t wait for Ugly Love & I was blown away. I love her books 🙂
I really loved Hopeless and Finding Hope! They were such emotional, both times!!
Maybe someday was really good!!!! 😀 I can’t wait to read Ugly Love!!! ;’D the wait is killing me!!!
Loved Hopeless! Finishing another book and I can’t wait to download this baby!
I LOVED Hopeless! I’m reading Ugly Love now…about 25% in and I’m going slowly because I really don’t want it to be over! 🙂
I think every one of Colleen Hoovers books has effected me greatly in one way or another she is an amazing author!!!! Ugly Love was beautiful and I broke my heart and cried huge ugly tears for poor Miles
Love her books!
Loved thia book so much I cannot fantom my life before it, so beautiful, there is nothing ugly about it. Nothing at all.
Ugly Love was the first book I’ve read by Colleen Hoover and it is absolutely one of my so time favorites! I will forever be a CH fan girl!
Ugly Love was the first book I’ve read by Colleen Hoover and it is absolutely one of my all time favorites! I will forever be a CH fan girl!
My first Colleen Hoover read, Slammed, will always be my favorite.
I loved Maybe Someday.
Ugly Love was the first book I’ve read by Colleen Hoover and it is absolutely one of my all time favorites! I will forever be a CH fan girl!
I almost want to say Finding Cinderella because I was just smiling like a damn goof the entire time, but Maybe Someday really hit me hard too. and the rest. I can’t choose. UGH! WHY KILL ME WITH THIS QUESTION?!
HOPELESS!!
Hopeless….without a doubt my fav…..
Hopeless is still my fave book (by any author, not just Colleen Hoover) and all of her other books are in a 7-way tie for 2nd!!
I haven’t read Ugly Love, but I am dying to! Therefore I’d have to say that Maybe Someday is my favorite Colleen Hoover book. The full review is on my book blog, but here’s the abbreviated version of why I LOVED it!
Simply put: that book blew me away. I was a tumbleweed, and Someday Maybe was my gust of wind. Colleen Hoover crafted an incredibly original, breathtaking romance with unforgettable characters and an unexpected plot line.
There were twists and turns and surprises around each corner that had me clutching my book in a white-knuckled grip. From the very fist sentence on the very first page, I was invested in Maybe Someday and its characters.
Ridge and Sydney’s connection was unparallelled to any other romance book I’ve read. Even with Sydney’s unconventional form of communication, their pure, unadulterated chemistry threatened to set my book on fire. Pages should’ve sizzled and words should’ve popped as I read them. Their unspoken urge to create music together was mesmerizing, and those lyric-producing sessions were deeply sensual—without and any touches or kisses; just the words sung from their hearts, and strummed onto Ridges guitar.
There were moments Maybe Someday made me laugh at the characters silly antics, and then times when I sobbed—actual tears welled up and dripped down my cheeks!—for the lost love. Books have broken my heart before, but Someday Maybe shattered it.
P.S. Plus, Ridge was so HOT and heart-meltingly sweet.
Hopeless!
I could not possibly pick a favorite…everyone she writes becomes a favorite. Colleen Hoover is an outstanding writer.
I’ve only read two books by Colleen Hoover, Hopeless and Finding CInderella. Both were absolutely marvelous. I really want to read Ugly Love.
I have only read the the Slammed series so far. I fell in love with Will and Lake the heartache they both had to deal with in their family lives and then the fact that they couldn’t be together was do frustrating. I love Will what he did for Cauldron, putting his brothers needs before his own was the most amazing part of Will. I loved Lake, after her mom died, the jar of notes giving then advice when they needed it was sheer brilliance. And it was comical when they were fighting and they fight over the jar. I loved it. Plus I thought the poetry and the slams were amazing just a great idea. Then getting to hear Wills side if things. I love love loved it. I have her other series on my to read list along with Ugly Love..
Oh my gosh!! I have loved every Colleen Hoover book!!!! I can’t wait to read Ugly Love and am dying for a signed copy of any one of her books! Maybe Someday has been my favorite so far! SLAMMED was a close second.
I loved Hopeless! I have not got to read Ugly Love yet, but I am dying too! Did just finish reading Mud Vein after Colleen Hoover recommended it on her FB page and said it was her FAVE!
Haven’t read this one yet but Hopeless was pure perfection! 🙂
Ugly Love for sure! I didn’t think it would replace Hopeless but it did!
I ❤️ Colleen Hoover! I read Slammed and Point of Retreat and absolutely fell in love. I would have to say that Hopeless in my all time favorite. I felt so many emotions reading that book. It was amazingly written. I felt like I knew the characters personally and for a lot of authors that is a hard task to achieve, to make your readers feel like they are in the story and Colleen nailed it! I can’t wait to read Ugly Love! Thank you Marsye for your recommendation, you are the reason I picked up Slammed in the first place and I am forever greatfull
Slammed Series 🙂
I love all of Colleen Hoover’s books! If I had to pick one Hopeless would be my favorite!
My favorite Colleen Hoover book is Losing Hope. There is something about Holder’s POV that spoke to me. I loved Hopeless, but I think prefer Losing Hope.
SLAMMED was my FAVORITE, It was the first of Colleen Hoovers books that I read and the only book I have read in one sitting (: SLAMMED was an exceptional book, I still (after reading thousands of books) have not read anything like it. I loved Layken..I understood her as I also felt what it was like to be an oldest child who moved often. Slammed was butterflying funny and sad at times. With Romance and the relationship between Layken and her Mom was what I have with my own Mom. Slammed has everything in a book I love and even if Im not chosen to win the prize I hope Colleen Hoover reads this. YOU ROCK COLLEEN (:
I looooooooved Slammed. ..all her books are amazing…but that’s My fave!!!
“Hopeless” is what did it for me. So excited to read “Ugly Love” just need to win a copy first 😉 Colleen Hoover is one of those authors who pulls together two characters, both who are in a place in their lives where protecting themselves is the only way to move forward, from the ugly world they are stuck into to pull them together to a beautiful reality.
Loved Hopeless best book i have ever read
I love all things CoHo related!! Point of Retreat was my favorite until Ugly Love. Then the angst and emotional turmoil, that this put me through, made me change my tune. I’m an emotional cutter and I live for crying books. And this book destroyed me and made me soak my pillow with my tears.
Hopeless and Losing Hope!!!
I love Colleen Hoovers books.
But slammed really got me. So far my favorite.
I still need to read a few Ugly Love Is next
I’ve loved everything I’ve read by CoHo. But Slammed will always be first CoHo love. :-*
I <3 <3 <3 this book!!! Thank you Maryse for first recommending the book Slammed.on here. Without your book blog I probably wouldn't have picked it out. Colleen is one of my favourite authors. I love her style of writing. Each book I've read of hers has been beautifully written.
That’s such a hard choice! I’d have to say it would be between Slammed and Maybe Someday. They’re all so great! I loved Hopeless, too. Honestly, I’ve absolutely loved every book of hers I’ve read, but if I absolutely had to pick a favourite, I’d say Maybe Someday. <3
Slammed was the first book that I read by Colleen.
I really enjoyed the book and she became one of
My favorite authors to follow. I can’t wait to start
This new book!!
Slammed and Hopeless. I can’t decide which I liked better!
Hopeless is my favorite Colleen Hoover book, can’t wait to read Ugly Love though!
Finding Cinderella because I adored Daniel and it led me to reading Hopeless and Losing Hope which brought me Holder !
I haven’t had the chance to read any of her books but my friends have been telling me I need to. She comes highly recommended, so I really want to read it.
I absolutely LOVE all of Colleen Hoover’s books, but was especially blown away by Hopeless and Ugly Love! xo
I read straight through this book last night! I loved it so much it’s definitely (maybe?) my favorite from Colleen. Hopeless holds a special place in my heart though!
My favorite Colleen Hoover book, so far, is Hopeless. Thank you for such an awesome giveaway! 🙂
I think Ugly Love has been my favorite so far. Once I finished I immediately wanted to reread it, which is a rare experience for me.
My favorite Colleen Hoover book is Hopeless, but I loved Ugly Love. She’s such a lyrical writer and manages to always craft such relatable characters.
Hopeless is my favorite book by Colleen Hoover but Ugly Love is a very close second!!!
Loved point of retreat!
Wow—The Slammed series was my favorite–just amazed of the creative and touching poetic pieces she had in each of them!! Colleen is an amazing writer & I can’t wait to read Ugly Love!!
Started with Hopeless Tuesday night, and read Losing Hope and Finding Cinderella immediately after. I have a girl crush on Colleen Hoover and her mad writing skills. Can’t wait to read her other books.. but I’m on a book budget 🙁
How can I pick just one??? However Hopeless has a special place in my heart because that was the first Colleen Hoover book I read. After reading hopeless and falling In love with the book, had to read everyone of her books. Then I was I love with the author. I believe she could write an instruction manual an it would be awesome.
Colleen could write a technical white paper of how a toaster works and I would still read it. She is genius. Love her and loved Ugly Love.
Hopeless my favorite 🙂
Thanks for the awesome review and giveaway 😀
I can’t possibly choose a favorite of all her books. I don’t know how she does it but I love absolutely all of them. The emotion she draws out of you while reading is amazing.
Hopeless is my favorite, with Slammed being a close second.
My favorite I Colleen Hoover book is probably a tie between Slammed and Maybe Someday
I’ve enjoyed all of Colleen’s books but Slammed has been my favorite so far! I really loved Layken and Will’s story!

I love all of Colleen’s books!!! Each one is better than the one before it! She is it out the park again with Ugly Love!!
I have only read Hopeless of Colleen’s books so far, but I LOVED it. So of course all her other books are now on my to-read list.
Slammed Series. My all time favorite. Took me out of a dark time in my life. When my vacation hits. I will be hit the book store to by Ugly Love. I am counting down the days….
First I read Hopeless and fell in love with Colleen Hoover. Then of course I had to read Losing Hope followed by Finding Cinderella. Now, I just read Ugly Love and I loved it! It’s very real and very relatable!! But, what I love about Colleen Hoover is that all of the books that I have read, she has you thinking in one direction, looking left, and then she blindsides you on the right. She creates characters that you just love! I can’t wait to keep reading her other books!!
I actually love all of Colleen Hoover’s book, but if I honestly have to choose one it would definitely be Maybe Someday. It was just so beautiful and heart-wrenching. It was perfect, and the soundtrack from Griffin Peterson just made it even more perfect – if that’s even possible. I haven’t read Ugly Love yet, but I will tomorrow when it finally arrives with the mail! Amazon is kind of mean by making me wait this long!
This was one of my favorites. I read ugly love in less than a couple hours and started it again to ‘re read it.
I loved ugly love. It was the first book I have read by Colleen Hoover and I’m hooked!
I’m not sure i can narrow it down to just one but Slammed was pretty butterfling great!

First Colleen Hoover book I read was Slammed and been hooked ever since!!
The first Colleen Hoover book I ever read was Hopeless. I had no idea who she was, what she’d previously written, nothing. I went into Hopeless blind…and absolutely loved it. Since then, I’ve happily one-clicked everything she’s published to date. The problem is finding the time to read all of them. But yes, I look forward to devouring all of Colleen’s books.
Awesome giveaway. Thanks for the opportunity!
slammed made me think of my own mom.Beautiful story.
Hopeless is my favourite Colleen book AND favourite book period. She really knows how to deliver the emotional factor and make me bawl like a baby.
Slammed is my favorite followed closely by Finding Cinderella. But I love how each book is such a fresh idea. I’m looking forward to reading Ugly Love.
I first read Hopeless, and that’s when I started to love CoHo’s books. I’ve never read something like that before and I never cried when I read books, reading Hopeless was a first. I really hope I could win this giveaway, God knows how many giveaways I’ve entered. Lol. Thanks!

That’s how much I loved it!!! And because of that book, I started reading a lot! Trying to find stories that can measure up to it. And it made me feel all kinds of feelings I want to feel again.
Finished Ugly Love at 2:00 this morning! Loved it, cried myself to sleep! Hopeless is still my favorite!
Although I love all of CoHo’s books, Maybe Someday is my ultimate favorite!! Ridge is just an amazing character, and soon as I finished it, I went right back to the beginning and read it again! I will buy any book that Colleen puts out there, she’s so talented!
Emotions human beings are capable of feeling***
Colleen is one of my top 5 favorite authors, so to pick one is really hard. I would have to say until tuesday night my favorite was Slammed, but I think Ugly Love might have snuck to the top. She just writes in s way that sneaks into my body and sucks me into the books. I feel like I am living in the characters heads, feeling everything. That sounded really stupid…it’s a good thing she writes for a living and I don’t!
I don’t know which book is my favorite! All are awesome in different ways..
I like the Slammed series, a forbidden relationship and the poems that gave me a lot of feels..The unique story of Hopeless that made me wish to be the heroine! And Maybe Someday that brought me to the world of la-la-land with the soundtrack!! 🙂

Hopeless and Maybe Someday are my favorites…so far! Love Colleen’s writing. She is a great storyteller. Can’t wait to read Ugly Love!!!!
Without a doubt it was Hopeless. I was so hung over that I sent Colleen a gushy email two weeks later. Then again 9 months later. She was gracious each time. The love story, the mystery, the twist, the turns and the best non kiss 1st kiss EVER!
I am always in between hopeless and losing hope. While I generally love all her books. There is something I connect with that’s not like any other book.
Hopeless!!! Can’t wait to read Ugly Love!!!
Maybe Someday is my favorite!

I haven’t read Ugly Love yet but have read all of Colleen Hoover’s other books. I don’t know if I could pick a favorite because I’ve loved them all. I really liked Slammed and Hopeless if I had to choose.
Hmmm…Do I really have to pick just one???? I’m going to go with Hopeless. I can’t it out if my mind but Maybe Someday is a close second. I haven’t had the chance to read Ugly Love yet.
Thanks for the chance. This is a great giveaway!
Slammed will always have a special place in my heart. You could say that out of all Colleen’s books, Slammed is my “first love”. (And as the saying goes, “First love never dies”) Hopeless would probably be my “what might have been”. Maybe Someday would be my “greatest love”. And Ugly Love might be my “the one that got away”
Slammed is still my fav. I’ve read it several times! 🙂
My favorite Colleen’s book is Hopeless. I love the characters and the story it’s so painful. I love ugly love but not as much as I live hopeless!
Oh crap. I forgot about my “soulmate”, Finding Cinderella
I love every book Colleen Hoover has written!! It is so hard to choose one!! I finished Ugly Love last night and had tears running down my cheeks, such a beautifully written story!! What an amazing giveaway!! Thank you for the chance!!
Slammed is my favorite.
It’s so hard to choose a favorite book from Colleen, because it’s always the last one I read, but I read all of them all the time! I guess I’ll have to say Finding Cinderella, bacause I just can’t get over Daniel and Six, they’re just so hilarious. But, after I read Uglu Love , that will probably be my favorite… I’m so exited for it and so sad because it takes so much time for books to get to Brazil 🙁
Maybe Someday, I loved how funny it was.
I have a love for Slammed because it was my first CoHo book that helped me fall in love with her works of art. . . But Hopeless has my heart. It speaks to me on personal levels I cannot speak of. Let’s just say that Colleen Hoover wrote me a happy ending & I’ll forever be grateful! If you haven’t read any of her books, please ….PLEASE read them & fall in love ♡
Thank you so much for the chance to win this & I loved your review!!
I loved all of her books! I think if I had to pick one Hopeless would be my choice.
Do I have to pick between Hopeless, Losing Hope & Maybe Someday? They were all so good.
I also Loved Ugly Love. That was the first Colleen Hoover book I have read. Downloaded the rest right after reading it.
Slammed started my love affair!
Just finished reading it for the second time. This was one of those books that I started rereading as soon as I finished it. There has not been a single Colleen Hoover book that I haven’t loved reading!
I loved Slammed so much but out of all 3 of the books in that series…This Girl was my favorite!!! One part of Will’s retelling made me swoon so much I actually clutched my chest and sighed!! I just finished Ugly Love….I didn’t just fall in love with it…I Flew!!!! It was AMAZING on every level!!!
It’s so hard to have a favorite one I mean they are all my favorite books! But my top one is Maybe Someday because she did something different with adding the songs and it was so perfect. Plus Ridge of my god he’s such a cutie and easy to fall in love with. But then Ugly Love was like a bullet going through your heart and ripping it in half and that was totally fine with me.
My favorite one would be slammed.
Expressing feelings with words have never felt so good.Words justified each feeling.I loved those poems that made me laugh as much as cry sometimes. Total roller coaster ride that was!!
Hopeless is my favorite Colleen Hoover book
My 1st book was Hopeless and I was hooked! I love every single book Colleen Hoover writes and she is so awesome! Love love love her!
Slammed is my favorite so far!! Can’t wait to read Ugly Love!!
Slammed is my favorite..but I love all Colleen Hoover books!!
My favourite book of Colleen is Maybe Someday. I loved it.I read all of her books and i love them all but Sydney and Ridge hold special place in my heart. It would be my dream come true if i win this contest.I Adore Colleen’s work and thank her for being wonderful person <3
Hopeless will always be my favorite! CoHo is AMAZING and I love everything she writes!
I can’t decide which one is my favorite book of her. She seriously the best author of the century. Maybe i’ll choose “Maybe someday” because it has a connection with music. And of course, one of the things that I loved about Maybe someday is that a beautiful thought is kept on you: “you can do whatever you want, you just have to fight for it even if a lot of obstacles are around you, cause maybe those obstacles will make you stronger”… Just like Ridge did with his music.
She’s just a genius in wht she does. I’m so proud of her <3
Thanks for the opportunity! Good luck to all of you, guys 🙂
Maybe Someday was my favorite…..with Finding Cinderella a very very very close second (I just love the witty banter)! I loved the creativity involved with each one of Colleen Hoover’s novels – they are genius, and this giveaway is BEYOND awesome!!!
I am truly torturing myself reading this because I want to read the book so so bad! And EVERYTIME I discover something else about the story I didn’t know before and it makes me want to scream in agony because I want this book so bad 🙁
Excellent review Maryse. I can’t possibly pick a favorite from Colleen Hoover’s books. I’ve read almost all of them and would have a hard time even putting them in preferred order. Sometimes an author writes something so special that it stays with readers long after the book was read. Colleen Hoover writes every single book like that. Each and every one making a huge impact on the reader. She is absolutely brilliant.
I’m off to start Ugly Love. I’ve was trying to wait until the weekend to read it because I already know what an impact it will have on me, but I don’t think I can wait even one more day.
Ugly Love is my favorite by Colleen. I loved the chapters in Miles’ POV. Pure poetry!!
Maybe Someday is my absolute favorite book of Colleen’s. She is my idol! I am meeting her in September and I know I am going to cry like a baby!
As I’m typing this, I want you to know that I just finished reading Ugly Love and pretty much discovered my least favorite words: THE and END. I love it! I really really love it! Tate and Miles’ relationship was a beautiful mess. I love how I get to feel raw emotions just by reading this book! Wow! This might take me a while to get Ugly Love out of my head. I miss it already. I miss Miles and Tate and even Cap! Ohmygosh Colleen Hoover butterflying did it again! Ever since I read Slammed, I’ve promised myself to read all CoHo’s books. She butterflying deserves every praise she gets! ♥
I’ve read all of Colleen Hoover’s books and I LOVE all of them!
Slammed if my favorite!
So far, all Colleen Hoover books have a very special place in my heart. Just after this message I’m now starting to read Ugly Love, can’t speek for this one yet. Her books are special, that’s for sure!
Would of course love to be the lucky one:)
My favorite book by Colleen (so far) is Maybe Someday. I haven’t read Ugly Love yet, but it have it and can’t wait to read it.
Hopeless and Losing Hope are my two favorites out of all her books.
Maybe Someday is my favorite so far. Well, to be honest I love all of Colleen’s books. They’re incredible and amazing. And I can’t wait to read Ugly Love! I think it will be amazing just like her other books. I need to prepare my heart while reading this. Thank you for this giveaway 🙂
I haven’t gotten into this one yet, but it is next up for me. So, that being said, I have to say that Maybe Someday is my favorite so far. Not because I thought Ridge was perfect or that Sydney didn’t make mistakes, but because the whole concept with the music made for one hell of a unique experience. Colleen has a way of creating characters that are real and you can’t help but feel right along with them.
I cannot pick a favorite. I love them all!
Point of retreat is the book that affected me most. It touches on the issue of bullying and how to support someone who is dealing with it, an issue vety close tp my heart. And ofcourse the slam session in the end was freaking awesome! I butterflying loved it!!!
I love Colleen Hoover and all of her books. I wish I could read Ugly Love but am waiting for payday. I don’t know if I can pick a favorite – they’re all so awesome. Thank you so much for the giveaway!
I truly L.O.V.E. all her books! Colleen’s definitely my favorite author, as it’s so easy to feel and relate to all her characters. The main characters are so genuine, and you can’t help but root for them.
It’s hard to pick a favorite, but I think the “Slammed” series would BARELY win over “Maybe Someday” because of Will Cooper. I wish he was real & mine…..I’d totally marry him, haha. With that said, each one of her books is unique and special in its own way. I’m always so impressed with her writing.
Slammed is my favorite!
My favorite book are Hopeless and Losing Hope. I also really loved Slammed, Finding Cinderella, and Maybe Someday.
Tough choice, but I’d have to pick Hopeless!
Hopeless was my favorite. I can’t wait to read this book!!
LOVED Ugly Love!! But my absolute favorite of Colleen’s books would have to be Losing Hope.
Maybe someday was an emotionol rollercoster and very easy to read i fell in love with the book direct!
Then ugly love comes out and im a emotional wreck! I love all the ups and down in this book, and i love Miles!! Colleen knows how to effect her readers!
My fave book is Slammed!
My favorite now is Ugly Love!!
I absolutely loved Ugly Love. I’ve read 3 of Colleen’s books (Ugly Love, Maybe Someday & Hopeless) & am dying to read the rest. My favorite was Maybe Someday…but Miles Archer swept me off my feet…so hard to pick a favorite!!
Have two of colleens books on my kindle…waiting for summer classes to end so i can start reading them.
Definitely Maybe Someday. In my top 3 for the past year!
I’ve loved them all but I still think of Sydney and Ridge especially when listening to the CD. I’m sure Ugly Love will be staying with me for a while!
Hopeless is my favorite. It was the first Colleen Hoover book that I read and was the one that got me addicted to reading her.
I guess my favorite one would be Maybe Someday. I have yet to finish Ugly Love. Maybe Someday related to me like you just can’t have love easily, you’d have to wait for it and it’d fall back at the right time. So there 🙂
I love Hopeless!! Can’t wait to read Ugly love!
Slammed is my favorite.
Slammed series. Have read it about 4 times or so.
Here is my “howdy” since I’ve yet to get to read any of her books. :^P
This is so hard to pick but if I have to choose …. Maybe someday two reasons I love the music component because I am a music fanatic and I really loved that ridge was deaf. Not something many people would write about or choose for a book. Made the story all the more special to me
I don’t know if I can pick a favorite either….but Maybe Someday made me a fan. 🙂 I would love to win…my birthday is Sunday!! 🙂
Slammed but Ugly Love is my 2nd favorite.
I have to pick one book that I loved the most? I can’t. I loved every book she’s written in a different way. After I read Hopeless, I hugged my son & told him I loved him. Maybe Someday was amazing and helped me understand CFRD a little better and what someone I know who has it goes through daily. And what can you say other than Will Cooper?
I know. I know! I’m missing out. Can’t believe I haven’t read any of her books yet. I have Hopeless on my kindle but just haven’t read it yet. Ugly Love looks pretty awesome too!
I haven’t read this book yet but I’m dying to read it!!! I have heard a lot of amazing things about it… I know she is a GREAT writter “Maybe Someday” is the perfect PROOF! I would like to read the rest of her books! That would be amazing!!! Thanks for the chance 🙂 xxx
I can’t choose between Ugly Love and Maybe Someday…loved loved loved both of these so much!!@ Thank you Colleen.
I don’t know if I can pick just book that I loved more than another. I started with Hopeless, crushed on the Slammed series and fell in love Maybe Someday & Finding Cinderella. Next up is Ugly Love!
Maybe Someday, definitely my favorite. The complexity of the characters & the depth of their emotions. Ridge’s attraction, temptation and struggle to remain faithful felt real, believable. I loved the discernment between lust/attraction and love.
I love every character created by Colleen!
Their just awesome! My favorite is Ridge. Well, I’m reading Ugly Love now so let see if it’ll change 🙂
Thanks Colleen for all those amazing people I met when reading your books <3
i love slammed series, hopeless, maybe someday
Maybe Someday
Slammed is my all time favorite but Im at 35% into Ugly Love and Im really loving it so far!! Love Colleen Hoovers writing-I would read anything she wrote!! Thanks for all you do Maryse, I always look forward to “checking in” on your blog every day and reading your current reviews and recommendations!
Hopeless is my favorite!! I love the loyalty!! I’ve now read 3 of your books and I’m hooked!!
It’s so hard to pick one book, because all of them are fantastic. But, I would have to say Maybe Someday.
Hopeless! My first and fav❤️
I’ve only read Hopeless and Losing Hope. Loved them both. I *really* want to read the Slammed series, but have been holding out in hopes they will go on sale. Would love to win them!
Thanks for your blog. It’s my go to spot for what to read. You rock!!
Slammed is by far my favorite book by Miss Colleen!! Being an English major, seeing the art form of slam poetry used in such a way to dictate such emotions and powerful connections of the heart had me beyond endnotes with the literary elements of the book. Will and Lake’s story was presented beautifully and eloquently to readers to see past the issues that were presented as hurdles early on. ❤️❤️ Thank you Colleen for such a powerful story! And thank you for the opportunity to possibly have Colleen’s pretties be additions to my book love shelf
I honestly can’t pick between Ugly Love and Slammed for my favorite CoHo book! I couldn’t put Ugly Love down and completely agree with your thoughts on Tate 🙂
I am a huge lover of all things Colleen Hoover and after reading her books my favorite by far is Ugly Love. I think it was such a heartbreaking and amazing book. It nearly killed me, bawled the whole last quarter of the book. This book really showed how much she’s grown as an author, and she’s such a huge inspiration to self publishing authors! Loved everything about this book! (If I could center this comment I would hehe)
I absolutely love ALL of Colleen’s books, but I really enjoyed Maybe Someday and how it incorporated the music of Griffin Peterson into the story! I am just now starting UL and I know that it will be brilliant! If I won this swag, I would definitely jump for joy!
My fave CoHo book…. that’s like choosing between chocolate chip. Double chocolate chip. and triple chocolate chip cookies! If I had to pick though I’d go for Hopeless 8)
weee! super love colleen hoover and her works! my fave is Hopeless, it ripped my heart out! she is really good in writing stories..i felt like i was there seeing and feeling every bit of emotions.. colleen is super awesome as ever!
I’ve loved everything I’ve read of hers but my absolute favorite would have to be Hopeless.
Slammed and point of retreat! Totally awesome books and filled with heart wrenching stories . I love it so much ! Thanks for the awesome giveaway ! You are awesome!
I have to say my favorite Colleen Hoover book now is Ugly Love. Loved the gamut of emotions I felt reading it. Thanks!!
ALL* of Colleen Hoover’s books have a special place in my heart, but I’d have to say “Maybe Someday” hands down is that book I would place in the middle of a high security vaulted room because it is simply my most coveted possession 😛
My favorite Colleen Hoover book is maybe someday! It’s actually my favorite book of all time 🙂
I haven’t read her – as yet!! Thanks for this chance!
Hello! I’m currently reading Maybe Someday and I’m at page 98. AND I’M IN DEEPLY LOVE WITH THE BOOK ALREADY THAT I’M SO SCARED TO CONTINUE READING IT. thank you for your generous giveaway ^^
Really great review Maryse! I was one of the readers to use “doormat” to describe Tate, but I can also really see the point you’re making about her. She is real, and a realistic portrayal of a lot of women who were/are in her shoes. Anyways, my favorite is still Slammed! Will and Layken <3
Colleen Hoover is one of those authors who just keeps better every single time. You can’t go wrong with Colleen Hoover. Since I haven’t read Ugly Love (my local bookstore doesn’t have a stock yet! UGH! It sucks to live in the other side of the world sometimes–we get the new releases very late), I’ll say Maybe Someday is my favorite book of her so far. That and Hopeless. Actually, I love all her books but those two are what really got to me. <3
I havent read Ugly Love yet. But I’d have to say Hopeless! It was the first Colleen Hoover book I read and I got hooked!
All of them!!!
I can’t pick a favorite! So I’ll just say hi. Hoping to win
I haven’t read Ugly Love yet because I’m waiting for some serious alone time, so I’ll go with Slammed as that is the first book that I read of Colleen’s and quickly fell totally in love with.
My fave book from ms Colleen all books is UGLY LOVE. The plot, story line and characters are all unique and amazingly written. ITS HER BEST BOOK SO FAR and all i can say is that ITS a PHENOMENAL book. thanks for this giveaway and i love your blog xoxo <3
Hey. Loved them all! 🙂
This book honestly looks so amazing! It looks like such a great story and I can’t wait to read this one!
My favorite book by Colleen Hoover Is Hopeless <3
Maybe Someday is, so far, my favorite book. It’s heartbreaking and beautiful at the same time. It’s wrong and it’s right. They’re geniune people. Not to mention they use songs when it comes to their attraction, emotions, and what they’re trying to say. It’s different and I loved it! Although I love all Colleen’s books, and I’ve been a CoHort since Slammed. I absolutely loved all of her books and I have a feeling that Ugly Love will be my new favorite. 🙂
So far my favorite is Maybe Someday, but I have some CoHo catching up to do.
I got Ugly Love today and honestly, I devoured it lol I just couldn’t stop reading! I tried to put it aside a couple times and actually do something out of my day but I just couldn’t (this happened to me with every book of hers I’ve read though haha). I don’t even know how to explain what this woman does to me with her books lol I went through every emotion possible today. Tate’s pain? my pain. Miles pain? my pain. Even Rachel’s! And I cried like a little baby. I loved it!
My favorite one though is Maybe Someday, I can read it every single week if I want to. And Griffin’s music? No words.
Thanks so much for the chance 🙂
Kisses from Argentina!
I don’t know that I can pick one favorite. I have not read Ugly Love yet, but can’t wait too! I think it will turn out to be my new favorite . So for now I would have to say Hopeless.
My favorite CoHo series is Slammed. Best scene is the non-kiss scene from Hopeless. Best ending (maturity to find oneself ) is Maybe Someday. Most tears spilt was Ugly Love. So…can I really pick a best/favorite when I find something I love in every book.
My personal favorite is the Slammed series, I honestly LOVED them all!!!!! I know someone that had lost a parent & had to change their whole life around, & grow up before they were ready…but also because I loved the whole story 2 people that are going through the same things & understand everything thats gonna happen & that they’re all a little weird but happy being themselves just makes me love it even more. I butterflying love it!! :D❤❤❤
My favorite is Hopeless!
I absolutely loved maybe someday!! It was such an amazing piece of work. I haven’t bought UL yet but i definitely am going to!! I love me some Colleen Hoover!!!
My favourite is Hopeless.
My favourite is Hopeless. This Story is horrible but beautiful.
I’m not quite done with ugly love, so I can’t for sure answer this, but I’m going to say hopeless is my favorite; however, I love them all!
Maybe Someday because she wrote a book with a concept that under most circumstances I would hate and wouldn’t even read and turned it into something unbelievably amazing and so much more than I ever expected 🙂
My favorite book? Goshhhh its really hard to tell bc u know, every.single.book of this woman it’s so god damn good. BUT i have to say, Slammed. YES. It was my first book of her, and am not gonna forget it soon or ever. It was a beautiful journey. I really loved the mother, the ending was so uggggh i cried like a BIATCH. It really make me apreciate and think of everything my mom had make for me and my brothers. u realize what a mother would do for her chindrens and the wonderful love between a mother and a son.
Collen hoover rocks! she make u feel the emocions of the characters, and for me, is the best u can do as an autor.
I cant wait to read Ugly love. Thaks so much for ur review <3
and a tons of love from CANCUN, MEXICO! (btw: sorry for my english)
Slammed :))
Slammed, fabulous, brief and a real page turner. The poetry angle was the most creative and original theme I loved. It really touched me reading the slammed performances in the book.
Slammed the scene when the mom admits she has cancer
I absolutely loved Ugly Love!! I love love love this book! I could write a huge review on here (believe I already did once) and I could go on forever about this book because it moved me in a way that’s not easy to do and it stole my heart and made me fall in love with it in a way that I haven’t fallen for a book in quite a while.I’m not one to be easily surprised when reading romance books, unfortunately it doesn’t take much for me to guess correctly the events to come. So when a book like Ugly Love comes along and completely blows my mind of what I think it’s going to be, I have to spread the work about it. So, go read it if you haven’t yet. Ugly Love is definitely my favorite Colleen Hoover book to date! I can’t wait to see what else she comes out with! 🙂
My favorite is The Slammed Series :3 its perfect. I know that Colleen gets better and better with every book she writes but it was Slammed that made me love her and her work(maybe its because its the first book of hers that i read) But after reading that book, it changed my perspective in life :3 I love it :3
All her books are so well-written, i just cant get enough :3
Favorite Colleen Hoover book:
Slammed
Haven’t read Ugly Love yet but I’ve been dying for it come out. I’m planning to read it this weekend!!

I absolutely love all of her book but I think my favorite so far has to be either Maybe Someday or Ugly Love. The first time i read Maybe Someday was probably about 5-6 months ago and I still suffer from a book hangover from it. I think about it a lot and always have to read it repeatedly because it is such an amazing book. Ugly Love has since seemed to turn into the same kind of book. Beautiful books by an amazing writer!
Slammed was the first I read and have been in love with my fellow Texan’s talent since! Hopeless is still my favorite!
My favorite book of Colleen is Maybe Someday, I just started Ugly Love and Miles is cute, but Ridge, Ridge steal my heart 🙂
I haven’t read any Colleen Hoover books.
I hope I would get some as soon as possible!!!
My first Colleen Hoover book is stil my favorite -Slammed
So far, I’ve only read Maybe Someday, and I fell in love with the book, the characters, and Colleen Hoover’s style. I even listened to all the Maybe Someday soundtracks while working at the office 😉 I’m looking forward to reading more of Colleen Hoover’s works! 🙂
My top favorite is Maybe Someday. I loved Ugly Love tho. Hopeless and Slammed too!!
Hopeless <3
I came across Colleen Hoover by chance as a Facebook link suggestion, as I don’t often find people with the same name as me, let alone famous authors! I have never read any of her books and was intrigued by her huge fan base and seemingly internationally best selling books. I love reading and have read authors she has links with and am sure I am going to love her style of writing! Looking forward to starting a new book journey. I always feel discovering a new author is like making a new friend!
I’ve been hearing a lot about Colleen Hoover’s works- How beautiful the books are and what great books to read.
I wish I could read all of her books now. I’m Currently reading Maybe Someday (first book of Colleen I’m reading), so as for now this is my favorite book 🙂
Favourite would have to be either this or Hopeless. Or Maybe Someday. Wow this woman knows how to write a good book!!!!
My favorite CoHo’s book is Slammed. Maybe because it was my first… but mostly because it was so beautifully written with all the poems and these characters that feel real. Thanks for the giveaway.
Colleen Hoover is one of my favorite authors of all time, all of her books have been so touching and emotional but Ugly Love was by far my favorite. Hope Colleen never stop writing.
Hello from France
my favorite book is Hopeless I was so a mess when I finished it!!! I love the Slammed séries too because it was my first encounter with Colleen Hoover’s books and today I’m gonna start reading Ugly Love!!!
Thanks for this amazing giveaway!!!
Hopeless. Enough said 😉
Simply Incredible!
That’s what Colleen Hoover’s books are.
I felt more connected with Hopeless and Maybe Someday but everyone of her books have their own magic…
I saw the magic.
I felt it.
And i loved it!
Wow!! I can’t wait to read Ugly Love! My favorite Colleen Hoover is definitely Slammed! I read through that all in one sitting one night and was in one of the biggest book hang overs after. 🙂
Maybe Someday 🙂 There are times when I come across books that make me wonder why the hell do I even bother with reading… Who in his right mind would want to undergo through this plethora of emotions that would have my heart sent into a crushing whirlwind, hammered down to a million pieces, and just when I am starting to see that glimmer of hope that all can be mended, as if in a cycle, be subjected to the same torment all over again… I honestly don’t know how I, no scratch that, how my heart holds up… But you see that experience is exactly what I would not trade for another … And such exactly was what I got from Maybe Someday by Colleen Hoover… This book is not just a simple read… It was a truly riveting read on true love and the reality that accompanies the bliss of falling into one. Together with the music, this added up to a truly unforgettable and unique experience… ^_^
Colleen Hoover has yet to write a novel that I haven’t fallen in love with. That being said, if I had to choose a favorite, it would without a doubt be Maybe Someday!
I love, love, love Slammed! And I have you to thank for having read it. I’m from Spain so English is not my mother tongue and I was always looking for books to read because I’m just a book junkie, lol. Then I found your blog… Yay me! And with it so many books like Slammed that truly did something for me and had me weeping. So there… Slammed is my choice.
I love all her books!!!!! But I think the Slammed series is my fav! 😀
I just finished Ugly Love and adored it too much (so many tears!!).
I’ve loved every single book of Colleen but Maybe Someday was my favorite!! I’m gonna cross my fingers now!
Great post and amazing giveaway!!!
My favorite was definitely Ugly Love but Maybe Someday isn’t far behind. I really liked that the charcters were older and the book a little more New Adult 😉 I never shed so many tears reading any of her other works.
Wow thank you for this wonderful chance! My fav so far si Slammed, I really love everything about that book 🙂
I guess my favourite book is Maybe Someday..I read all the others and until I read MS, Losing Hope was my favourite.
Ugly Love made me cry so much I had to change my pillow cover..I had to finish it the day I bought it and I kept reading until 2 AM.
Great book Colleen and great post and giveaway!!
Maybe Someday is my favorite! <3
I loved Slammed. It is one of my favourite books.
It is almost a tie between “Maybe Someday” and “Slammed”. But I guess it must be “Slammed” since this was the first book by Colleen Hoover that I read started a great reading phase for me 🙂
Thanks for the chance.
Hopeless and Maybe Someday is my all time favorite book.
Colleen Hoover’s books are so amazing! I’m dying to read Ugly Love, looking at Colleen Hoover’s facebook posts about her books makes me wanna cry ’cause I just can’t really afford to buy a collection of her books. TT_TT
It’s a tie between Hopeless and Maybe Someday. Both captured me as a reader. Both were wonderful!
This book review was great! I cannot wait to grab this book and get right into it! I hope that it’s as good as Slammed. I love writing poetry and short stories so this had a great appeal to me. Thanks Colleen for being so inspiring.
If I had to choose a favorite it would be Maybe Someday. I love all of her books, that was a tough decision!
My favorite was Losing Hooe. Though I also think that Slammed is my favorite because it introduced me to Colleen Hoover
Maybe Someday till now
My favourite is definitely Hopeless. I really liked the story, the charcters… everything! I liked all the others too, of course, but Hopless is the best for me! I finished the book in one day and I also cried at the end.
My favorite is ”Hopeless”!
It was the 1st book i read by Colleen.
I had no idea what it was about, the description was a bit vague, but i decided to go all in & read it!
I loved how everything ultimately fits together, like all pieces of a puzzle finally make the whole picture!
I began to see the ”whole picture” and i cried, i cried so hard for Sky, Holder, Les & Karen!
I was a fan right then because if a book makes me love characters so much, and tugs at my heart so bad, it deserves a place in my hearts & on my shelves!
Thank you for this awesome giveaway & sorry for the long comment Maryse!
It’s so hard to choose!!!!! But I could say Slammed is still my all-time favorite. My standards got higher because of Colleen!!!! She is an evil genius and I love her!!! <3 <3
I loved Maybe Someday!! Is my fovourite. I love his books so much 🙂
My favorite Colleen book is and always will be Slammed!
Maybe Someday and Hopeless, both books are my all time favorite written by Colleen Hoover, one of my favorite authors.
Hopeless really made me cry so damn hard, I tried to hold back my tears but my eyes betrayed me. It was just so amazing, the story was incredibly awesome. I just couldn’t shut my mouth and share it to the people I call friends, whih made them tell me how annoying I was. This giveaway is superb, I just couldn’t sit still and do nothing, I am dying to win. Though I know that there is just 0.0009 chances of being picked but anyway I am very thankful for this chance.
Ugly Love is my favourite, but TBH I have loved everything she has written. x
I love love LOVE all of colleens books I can sit and reread them a million times and still enjoy them as much as I did when I first read them but my favourite has and always will be hopeless. It was one of the first books I read that not only made me fall in love with Colleen but made me fall in love with reading! <3
Maybe Someday is my favorite Colleen book! <3
Thanks so much for the chance! I am really looking forward to reading Ugly Love!
I loved Slammed and Hopeless, especially because the title of Hopeless is so great in the after! 🙂
Thanks for this AMAZING giveaway! I’ll be meeting her awesomeness at the end of the month and need to get her books in paperback to get signed! Loved Maybe Someday…well ALL her books! Lol
I loved all of Colleen Hoover’s books! I’m a big fan of her. If I really have to choose one it’ll be Slammed. I haven’t started reading books since Slammed. It opened me to the possibility of living through books and appreciate how words make me feel lots. So that’s it. Ugly love. I’ve been waiting for this book for months!
hey! My favorite Colleen Hoover book is Slammed 😀
havent read the Ugly Love yet!! Im so looking forward to it!
I had read all her books and I do really love all her EIGHT books! 🙂 Maybe Someday is my favorite. This giveaway is a wow. I am crossing my fingers right now. Awww. I ain’t HOPELESS in this contest right? If it is so, then I’ll be SLAMMED to my POINT OF RETREAT. THIS GIRL, who made this giveaway possible, will receive so many love and thank you. It’s like helping me on FINDING CINDERELLA. I am not LOSING HOPE. This won’t be an UGLY LOVE. <3
This book tore me apart. I was a blurring mess
hopeless!! <3
My favorite (so far) is Maybe Someday. Can’t wait to read Ugly Love!
Maybe Someday! I just loved Ridge and his story and the fact that his ‘disability’ didn’t even feel like one and how casual Sydney was about it. And come on, the way they started talking is plain adorable 😛
Asking me to pick a fav book is like asking me to pick which one of my kids is my fav….. This author is AMAZING!!! Ugly Love is a great book…..
My favorit is Hopeless!!
omg I love ColleeN Hoover already.. I hope I can read more of her books… can’t wait
Hi! Thank you for this chance! My favorite CoHo book is Maybe Someday! 🙂
LOOOVED MAYBE SOMEDAY!!! 😀 I have Ugly Love and so looking forward to reading it!
Colleen Hoover is now one of my top favorite authors after I read Ugly Love! I think that’s probably my new favorite book. I love her style of writing and I have never cried as I read a book, but guess what? Ugly love made me do just that! I cried! Such an impact and connection to Miles, Cap, Rachel and Tate. I loved every minute of it, which is probably how I finished it in one day.
I would love to win my first giveaway! I have only read two of colleens books, so having all 8 would be amazing!
Thank you for the chance! Im a big fan of Colleen Hoover and my fave book is Hopeless!! <3
Thank you for the awesome give away!! I have to say my favourite from Colleen Hoover is Hopeless. I live Dean Holder 🙂
I LOVED her Slammed trilogy and Maybe Someday.. ALL the books I’ve read from her. It really sounds cliche, but it’s true. I am looking forward in reading Ugly Love and her Hopeless series to meet my new faves. 😉
I LOVE EVERYTHING she writes, fell in love with slammed series could not get enough, books are super expensive(because South African R’s weak) , but worth it, I went way over budget when i started slammed, then i HAD to read Point of Retreat, and This Girl….then i had to get Hopeless, Losing hope. I needed to get my Colleen Hoover on, she is one awesome writer, always leaving you wanting more.
Hello beautiful people ! Thanks for this AMAZING giveaway! I haven’t read any yet because amazon or any big book store are not in our country . i think this would be a huge opportunity to get know this author .Thanks

Hopeless was my favorite . It was one of those books that I couldn’t put down . It made you feel like you right in there going through all the emotions with the characters . It ‘a a book I couldn’t stop thinking about for days and one that I just had to share with all my friends .
Finding Cinderella. But I live all Colleen’s books
Maybe Someday! Oh I just love it! And the songs… <3
But I still haven't read Ugly Love (arrgghhh, i wish I have money right now, I envy all those who have read it and have a physical copy) ,so maybe it will be my next favorite or they will be both… 😉
Thank you sooo much for this AMAZING giveaway!
My favorit is Hopeless!
Definitely Slammed because that was my first Colleen Hoover book and I fell in love with the characters and her writing!!
Would love to read Ugly Love and have all her books signed!!
It’s so awesome that Colleen Hoover has so much success that began as a sheer love of writing stories.

My favorite book is Hopeless ! Dean and Sky are one of the sweetest couple ever. Made me cry so hard !
Definitely Maybe Someday! One of the best books I read so far. I loved Slammed and Hopeless series, but Maybe Someday will always have a special place in my heart.

Well, I loooooved Maybe Someday, it was a bit different and l looooved it! It warmed my heart…but l haven’tbread Ugly Love, so who knows… 😉 and thanks for the chance 😉
Hopeless! 🙂
Colleen Hoover just doesn’t write bad books. I love them all but if I had to pick I would say Hopeless. Although I do love me some Will:)
So far, my favorite is Slammed. I think it’s mainly because it’s the first one I’ve read from Colleen Hoover and it completely won me over. Though, Hopeless is very close behind. She knows how to make us feel while reading.
Thank you a lot for this amazing giveaway.
I loved Maybe Someday in a way that it’s hard to explain. Next to Slammed o Hopeless series, this book is on another level, so full of emotion, intense, breath-taking… awww! I love Ridge and is brilliant capacity of transform every musical note in one of my hundred-speedy heartbeat. Cant describe how much my heart aches and jumps thinking about it **
Thank you for this giveaway! ♥
All Colleen Hoover’s books are cool. I haven’t actually read more than the Slammed Series. And I loved it so much! =))
WOW! LOVED Ugly Love, I couldn’t put it down! I don’t know I thought I would be able to, I couldn’t put ANY of her other books down!!
The slammed series loved them. I have my family participate in sweet & suck over dinner.
I absolutely adore every Colleen Hoover book that I’ve read. That makes it so darn hard to choose a favourite. But if I really had to choose just one it would have to be Slammed.
I have not read Ugly Love yet…maybe it will become my favourite CoHo book??!!
My favourite colleen Hoover book has to be slammed. It was the first book of hers that I read and it made me love her.thank you colleen!
I think my favorite Colleen Hoover’s book is Point of Retreat!!!
It is just amazing!!
Colleen Hoover is my favorite author and I have LOVED all of them! My favorite though would have to be Maybe Someday only because of Griffen Peterson’s CD that accompanies the book that elevates the reading experience. Although, Ugly Love has caused the biggest book hangover – I can’t stop thinking about it! I also can’t wait until Colleen Hoover’s next book!!
I love all of her books. But if I had to pick one I’d pick Maybe Someday because it was an entirely different experience being able to read the book, read the songs, AND listen to them. Amazing!
Absolutely loved all of her books! But my favourite by a mile has to be Hopeless <3
I love whichever Colleen book I’m reading. Read ‘Ugly Love’ in one day- but ‘Hopeless’ is what got me hooked.
Each time I read a new colleen hoover book I think “this is my new favorite one.” Her writing is just so emotional – all the way down to where the words, and how the words are placed on the page. her writing is so intentional. Every time I sit with a book of hers I know my emotions will be uprooted for a few days.
That’s an impossible question! I haven’t read Ugly Love yet (SHAME ON ME but this is why I could really use this giveaway, hint hint) but so far, Maybe Someday is my favourite 🙂
My favorite book ever is HOPELESS!
Besos from Spain
Asking me to pick my favorite CoHo book is like asking me to pick my favorite child….you know the way you have a favorite, but then wait! This one! No, this one! Each book is my favorite for different reasons. UL gave me chills and oh so many feels. I’m a CoHo addict. Hello, my name is Leanne, and I’m addicted toCoHo. I just can’t stop. And I don’t want to. So I’m glad there isn’t a 12 step program for it.
Colleen hoover is my favourite author and I adore all her books but my favourite will always be Slammed as it was the first book I read by Colleen and I loved it and just had to read all her other books from then on 🙂 🙂
I have only read Hopeless and Slammed. I loved them both. Thank u for thegiveaway.
Slammed is my favorite. Great giveaway!
My favorite is Ugly Love I loved it!
I love all of Collleen’s books!! But I definitely re-read Hopeless a lot. Thanks!
Slammed started me as a Colleen Lover. But I have to say my favorite book of hers has to he Hopeless. The emotional journey that torn you apart and put you back together so perfectly was the best ride! She has a way with writing a story that makes you feel everything. She is truly an artist!!
I love them all. I only have ebooks would love actual books 🙂 thanks for the chance
There’s not a book by CoHo I haven’t read and enjoyed… But my favorite will always be Losing Hope <3
Thanks for the giveaway!
I really like Hopeless.
Hopeless is my favorite but, I’m really looking forward to reading this one. 🙂
I haven’t read any of Colleen Hoover’s books yet, but I plan to read them soon. She gets such awesome reviews and I feel like I have been missing out. Thanks for the chance!
My favorite Colleen Hoover Book was Maybe Someday. Sydney was so easy to relate to. Ridge was so vivid and tangible – – you felt his frustration and his dilemma, and you knew he was falling hard for Sydney yet trying to be true to his love, Maggie. You couldn’t help but feel everything Sydney and Ridge felt. Colleen writes her characters so exceptionally real and palpable that the words ooze into your pores and become a part of you!
When i read “Maybe Someday” by Colleen Hoover my heart literally wants to jump out of my ribcage because the emotions I’m getting through is too much to handle. I recommend reading the book and I’ll swear you’ll never regret it. I finished reading the book in one whole day, plus the distractions. The book was made into perfection, I really like how the storyline blends to each character, how each POV’s has so much emotions that’s way too much for my expectation. I could actually hear myself laugh at loud when they pulled out pranks to each other and then hear myself sobbing from an intense emotions they’re putting me into. I must say it’s not your usual nor typical romance book that you can get over after a day or after reading several books. The twist, the conflicts, I must say it’s too much. Thank God for the happy ending, though. I’m just amazed how they struggle to fought the feeling they had and yet it draws them more to each other like moth to a fire. Don’t assume that the characters are perfect, for they have their own flaws. But that will definitely lead you to loving them more. And lastly, I should compliment how the lyrics of each songs was perfectly attuned to each scenerio, I just love it. It was so great ♥
I would be grateful if you could pick me to win 🙂 A definitely advance birthday present for me if ever. Haha. Thank you for a chance, anyway 🙂
Slammed is definitely my favourite! But Finding Cinderella is pretty close. I just love the humour in all of Colleen’s books 😀
Thanks for the giveaway 🙂
The only Colleen Hoover book that I have read is Hopeless and it is one of my favorites. I would love to get my hands on Maybe Someday and Ugly Love but they are a little pricey for e-books.
Slammed for sure!!!
My favourite CoHo book is Slammed! 🙂
Really tough choice because they are all so wonderful, but I would have to say… Maybe Someday. I haven’t read Ugly Love yet though so, I might have a different answer then. 🙂
I have not read any of her books yet. I do have a few in my wish list but they are a little more than what I usually pay for an ebook. Would love to read them and this would be a great opportunity to do so.
My favorite is slammed hands down. I still re-read that book! I just love me some Will
My all time favorite has to be Slammed. Loved it so much!!!!! Would be so Happy to win this!!!
I have never had an author give me so many favorites before now! I’ve read ever one of Colleen Hoover books and they have all become my favorite, but now, the morning after finishing Ugly love I can’t imagine another book being more of my favorite them this one! I read UL in 2 sittings because I Had to! I couldn’t stop myself from reading even of I wanted to (but I didn’t!). I still feel the after effects this morning of having my heart ripped out and then put back together all within a few chapters. Just sitting here thinking about it I could cry again thinking about all of the beautiful and ugly parts of love that this story touched on….. Just wow wow wow!
Wow, did this book rock me! I had so many “feels” in this one, I didn’t know what I was devouring, so completely real. I have a special place in my heart for all things Colleen Hoover, but the book that really rocked me was Hopeless, not that I am discounting any of the others, because they were all awesome. She is so talented!
Loved Slammed the best with Hopeless being close second!!! Love this giveaway!!! My b’day is today and it would be awesome!!!!
Maybe Someday affected me the most. It was a story which proved that true love comes at the right time, at the right place, to the right people. And although things weren’t easy at first, love was still able to conquer them all.
I haven’t read any of her books yet. This would be a great way to start!
I Loved Finding Cinderella. After seeing all the reviews, I cant wait to get Ugly Love.
Hopeless!!!!! My favorite! Got an autographed self published copy!!
I started with the Slammed series by Colleen. I fell for her books hard. I could not get enough of them. I am so glad that Ugly Love is now out and knowing there is another gem coming out in February. Congratulations Colleen!!! Keep ’em comin!!
I loved MAYBE SOMEDAY 🙂
Slammed because it was my first and I never saw “it” coming. Loved that I was blindsided and then it went on to make me cry. 🙂 After that book, Colleen had a fan for life. <3
I can’t wait to start this one!!!! I love all Colleen Hoover’s books!!
I LOVED Slammed!!! Not only was it my first book of hers, it made me read every other thing she has ever written!!!!!!
Maybe Someday- It taught me that just because they have a disability doesn’t mean that they can’t react and feel the same. I always respected deaf people don’t get me wrong. But something about reading about Ridge made me see the world in a whole new light. I by far think that i will forever love Ridge 🙂
Colleen Hoover is an amazing author and i do hope that there is more to come 🙂
Slammed is my favorite but maybe it will change? Her books are a favorite.
Whichever Colleen Hoover book I just finished is my favorite! I have loved them all. So I guess when I start Ugly this weekend, it will be my new favorite.
Maybe Someday is my favorite so far but hopeless is a close second.
I haven’t read one yet but am planning on to.
AHHH, pick just one of Colleen Hoover’s books and deem it my favorite? How?!
Okay, okay. I pick…Slammed, no Hopeless. Wait…
Ahh! I’ll just stick with Hopeless. Thank you for the amazing giveaway and great review! As if I’m not already coveting UGLY LOVE. Now I want it even more!
*crosses fingers and hopes*
OMG. OMG. OMG. I love Colleen Hoover!!! My favorite series so far has been Slammed, although I still have yet to read This Girl! These would look beautiful on my bookshelf! Thanks so much for the chance ♥
I love all of CoHo’s books. Losing Hope is my fave followed closely by Hopeless and Maybe, Someday. I enjoyed the Slammed series too but Will isn’t as dynamic a book boyfriend as Dean (Holder). Thanks for the giveaway!!!
I Love the CoHo!!!! My favorite book of hers is ALL of them 😉 but I think Hopeless owns a little more of my heart than the rest. 😉
Hopeless
Just here to say hi.
(No, I’m kidding)
I loved ALL her books. I’d say Hopeles/Losing Hope were my favorites, but I can’t really pick a favorite. UL, MS and FC were close seconds.
Yes, I know 3 books can’t really be second place together, but…
I haven’t read any so I desperately need this!
In every Colleen Hoover book, she is capable of making you feel exactly what the characters are feeling with every turn of the page. Slammed would have to be my favorite Colleen Hoover book because it was not only my intro to Colleen Hoover but also my favorite band, The Avett Brothers. Thank you Colleen, for the your fantastic writing ability and always making us thirsty for more. My fingers are crossed that I may be considered for this giveaway!
Slammed!!! Where I feel in love with Miss Hoover!!!
Hopeless, first one I read, first one I loved! However, they are all fabulous! Looking forward to reading Ugly Love. 🙂
Hopeless was like no other book I had ever read, in my life!!! It totally wrecked my poor little fragile heart but I couldn’t put it down. I had to finish it for Hope and hear the rest of her story and Holder’s. It was so incredible. I recommended it to my sister in law right away and have been reading as many Colleen Hoover books as I can get my hands on since. I would love to win the giveaway!! Thanks for the opportunity 🙂
Colleen Hoover is the master. Her books are seariously pure perfection. If you haven’t read anything by her, what are you waiting for?Go read something this instant,or I’ll challenge you to a fencing duel! 🙂
As per your question,Maryse,my favorite books is Slammed. The characters, the setting, the plot, everything is just….I can’t even put into words how much I love that story.And..yah,I would delighted to win this giveaway 😀
So many great books, Slammed started it all for me, and I love this series but if I had to pick one book, it will probably be HOPELESS. It was gut-wrenching amazing, and it really put Colleen Hoover on a “writing pedestal” for me! I read it twice and then side-by-side with Losing Hope! That’s how awesome it was! 🙂
I have loved everything by Colleen! It all started with Slammed for me which was butterflying awesome!! The entire series was great… I loved Hopeless and also listened to it on audible and have gifted the book to many fellow readers! I just finished Finding Cinderella and loved reading about Six! I am so excited to read Ugly Love as Colleen has never disappointed… ❤️❤️
I NEED THIS! SERIOUSLY. I fell in love with Colleen Hoover’s books since I’ve read Maybe Someday but my favorite Colleen Hoover book is Point of Retreat. Thanks for this giveaway. Much loooove. Fingers crossed. <3
I haven’t read any but I’d love to read them all.
Hopeless is my absolute favorite of all times 🙂 I’m so, so excited to read Ugly Love because pilots <3
India awaits :*
Maybe Someday is definitely my favorite. Reading it along with the amazing soundtrack was the best way to experience the book! The soundtrack is amazing and when I can’t read the book I’m listening to the soundtrack. Thank you Colleen for writing such a wonderful book! (:
This girl <3
thanks for a chance :)))
I <3 Hopeless/Holder.
Slammed is my favorite
Hopeless was terrific, but I loved the Slammed series also.
Squeeeeeeee!! Colleen Hoover is just an amazing author. It’s really hard to pick one favorite book from her because everything is just so perfect!! If there’s really one book from her that totally changed my life… it’s Maybe Someday 🙂
Ugly Love was AMAZING and I loved every. Single. Word. In. It. That being said, I must say that my absolute all-time favorite is Losing Hope. I absolutely loved Holder’s never ending love, devotion and all consuming sense of responsibility for Hope/Sky and Les. I loved that, although Holder and Sky’s individual painful pasts were completely devastating, they were able to completely heal each other mentally, emotionally and physically. Les’ letter was the icing on the cake! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Hi there! I’m Argentina. So my English is very bad haha
My favorite book is Slammed. It was the first thing I read Colleen and made me love her.
Each and every one of them has made me mourn .. now going to start Ugly Love.
Kisses
My favorite book by her was Hopeless! It ripped me apart and felt like it put me together at the same time. I was shocked and amazed all at the same time. It shows you how strong love can be. Different kinds of love, not just soulmate love.
Slammed is my favorite. It was the first book from Colleen that I read.
I love all her books but my favorite is Hopeless! It grabbed my attention and made me feel happy, giddy, sad, anxious! I love when books can do that!! She is always able to pull emotions from me!
Loved Slammed. I also really liked Maybe Someday.
I loved all her books!! If I had to choose, I would probably have to say Hopeless. It was her first book that I read and immediately loved it!
Maybe Someday is definitely my favorite book so far. Ugly Love did hook me immediately, but the love triangle…and the angst – OH the ANGST – in Maybe Someday will cause that book to stay at the top of my favorites for a long time to come. I live for books to make me feel the way that one did!
Hopeless would be my favorite but excited to read Ugly Love.
Slammed is my favorite so far!!!
Maybe Someday is my all time Colleen Hoover favorite. She is awesome!
My Fave Colleen Hoover book would have to be HOPELESS!!!!!
Each book just gets better and better! So hard to pick a favorite as they are all on my top shelf! So I’m going to stray from the norm and pick Maybe Someday! That one just made me feel so much emotion!
I think Hopeless is my favorite CoHo book… I have not read Ugly Love yet and I’m understanding that after I read I will change my mind! lol….
I love them all but maybe someday & finding Cinderella i love <3
I’ve only read Ugly Love but I’ve added several of Colleen Hoovers books to my TBR.
I totally loved the way Ugly Love was written….I loved getting to know Miles through his chapters. This was one of the most emotional love stories I’ve read. I love Tate and to me she was never a doormat…I think it takes a very strong backbone to keep going back because you know something happened to make him that way. Sometimes you have to be brave and follow your heart and see where it takes you and pray that the other persons heart catches up!!
Loved them all, but I’ll go with Hopeless!
I haven’t read Ugly Love yet, but my favorite CH book is Slammed. Time for a reread.
Hopeless. My first Colleen experience and I totally fell in love with her writing (and Holder). I probably read it over and over five times because I couldn’t move on to a new book.
I love Colleen Hoover, SHE ROCKS! Her books are all amazing! If I had to choose my favorite, I would have to say Maybe someday! I would love to win this giveaway, thank you for the chance!
Hopeless!! I’ve read it so many times, one if those books you’re just not the same after reading
The Slammed series would be my favorite because it’s the first one that started my love for Colleen. ♥ Ah~ I can’t wait to meet her to thank her for all the amazing books she’s inspired me with.
I’m still halfway through Ugly Love but so far its more than I ever expected and thats saying a lot since I’ve loved every single one of Colleen Hoover’s books.
Slammed was definitely the one I’ve felt the most and I’ve reread it a bunch of times and I still cry when I read it! These books are so well written you can’t help it, you gotta love them!
WOW!!!! I thought Mabye Someday was my favorite. I love how she not only writes what they are saying to each other but there thought along side it. LOVE LOVE LOVE her style.
It all started with Slammed and thus my love for the Avett Brothers as well.
After Slammed I’d say Maybe Someday has stuck with me the most then Hopeless. Hopeless rips out your heart and was the most surprising to me. I really wasn’t expecting it. Colleen is simply the best, every book, every word. I didn’t just “fall” for her work, I “flew.”
Greetings from Peru !!! Definitely Losing Hope and Hopeless (I can´t choose just one). LOOVE THAT SERIES..!!!
I have read and LOVED all of your books, Hello from Alberta Canada
“Slammed” Can’t get enough. That’s why I need all her books, please!

I would love to win this!! I’ve only read Hopeless and loved it. I look forward to reading her other books!!
When I read Slammed about 3 years ago it was at the beginning of my reading addiction. Let me tell ya…. I have read over 200 books since then and her books are still on the top of my list. I am obsessed with her! I am currently reading Ugly Love and have about 20% left and I don’t want it to end.
I just finished reading my first book by CH, Maybe Someday, and aside from the massive book hangover im experiencing.. I’m SOO excited to read Ugly Love! New favorite author! 😀
Ohhh!! Hard to just pick one but I am going to say “Slammed”.
There’s just something about Will that still affects my fragile little heart whenever I think about that book.
I have read all of her books. Loved and recommended all, but especially Maybe Someday and Slammed. Already finished Ugly, and like you, it will not bump the others from the top spots, but very CH.
I “butterfly” love Colleen Hoover’s books. I’m starting ‘Ugly Love’ this weekend and can’t wait. I just know I will be adding Tate to my book boyfriend list. And love that you were able to get that one read and reviewed so fast! You Rock!!
I remember seeing the blurb for Slammed on NetGalley and couldn’t request it fast enough. I’ve loved every book and can’t wait to read Ugly Love!!

My all-time-favorite is Slammed, closely followed by Hopeless, I’ve reread both many times. And I just one-clicked Ugly love, your intruding review forced me to move it up my tbr list, so I’m looking forward to starting it later today
Rereading Slammed made me realize that Miss Colleen Hoover achieved the rare feat of managing to always top and improve upon her last work. (And she does it without using pretentious, highfalutin or pompous language.) She has a knack for eloquently expressing emotion using simple, succinct words without sounding simplistic.
I’d love to see MAYBE SOMEDAY adapted into a movie because there are no characters like Ridge Lawson in movies and TV shows today.
My favorite CoHo book is Hopeless with finding Cinderella a close second. I haven’t read Ugly Love yet!
Hopeless – It was so amazing. Even though I kind of knew what to expect from the foreshadowing. It still hit very hard.
I have to say my current favorite book by CoHo would have to be Hopeless with Maybe Someday as a close second! I look forward to eventually reading ugly love!!!
I haven’t started Ugly Love yet. Slammed is definitely my favorite of Hoover’s books so far, but I loved Hopeless too.
Love me some Colleen Hoover books and I’m with you maryse I still think slammed is my favorite book of all
I haven’t read Ugly Love YET but of all of her other books Slammed is my favorite. It is Amazing!!!
I FLOVE all of Colleen’s books but if I had to choose my all time favorite it would be Hopeless!!! Holder…enough said 🙂 But then again Will and Ridge….just saying 😉 I will be starting Ugly Love in the next couple days. Cannot wait to dive into Miles and join the #MilesHighClub!!!
I have never read her books before but they look amazing. Hoping to win this package or I’m going to be a VIP on amazon ordering them all 🙂
Slammed was the first book that I read of Colleen, it was fantastic. I preordered Ugly Love and wasn’t disappointed. Absolutely loved it, all the detail and the way you can relate to her characters. Wonderful, will be re-reading most definitely
The whole slammed series as a whole is in my top 5. I love Colleen’s writing. She has defiantly become on of my favorite Author’s today!! Looking forward to reading this one 🙂
Definitely Maybe Someday!!! I loved Ridge!!!
So fat, maybe someday is my favorite. I haven’t read ugly love yet so…I may have a new fav pretty soon!
I love Coleen and every book she has wrote I have read…well reading Ugly Love right now…Hopeless is so far my favorite but again ALL OF THEM are 5+ stars!!!
I have only read Maybe Someday by Colleen Hoover but am dying to get stuck into her other books. Her writing in Maybe Someday was absolutely flawless and I ended up blowing off all my plans so I could read it all day long 🙂
My first Colleen Hoover book was Hopeless. I fell in love with it and the rest is history… I love them all! They are so much more than books, it’s an experience. I haven’t read Ugly Love but it’s waiting for me in my kindle, can’t wait!
So far my favourite Colleen Hoover book has definitely been Slammed. Thank you for the opportunity <3
Maybe Someday is one if my all time favorite books! <3
Loved Hopeless and your review made me excited to start this one! 🙂
I dont even know where to start! First of all, like you, my favorite Colleen Hoover book is a tie between Slammed and Ugly Love. This book brought every emotion inside of me to the surface. I was crying from the pure heartbreak, and I was crying from the long awaited joy. I didnt even realize how tense I was until Miles finally found closure, and it felt like a huge wait had been lifted off of me and I could breathe again, and I had to stop reading for a few minutes so that I could stop sobbing and actually see the pages to read again. When they finally got their happy ending I swear I actually felt my heart swell so much in my chest I thought I might explode! This book found a way to attack and amplify each and every emotion in my body.
Slammed!
I really enjoyed Slammed and Hopeles. It’s a tie between the two for me 🙂
Loved this book and review! This may be my favorite book, but I loved Maybe Someday and Hopeless, too!
I just finished reading Ugly Love and it was amazing! I loved Miles and Tate’s story and I love all of Colleen Hoover books but Maybe Someday is my all time favorite!
Well, hello! I haven’t read any Colleen Hoover books but I’ve heard she is a great writer and her books are even greater. 🙂
I loved Maybe Someday. I’m so excited to get my hands on this one!!
Losing Hope would have to be my favorite and particularly the letters in it. One of my all time favorite characters without a question of a doubt is Cap. Wisdom comes age and also funny jokes.
HELLO Maryse! ALL of her books are PHENOMENAL, and I’ve heard awesome things bout Ugly Love, which is the only COHO book I haven’t read, hope to remedy that by this giveaway! THANK YOU! <3
Trying to choose my favorite Colleen Hoover book is like asking me to choose my favorite child at home or my favorite student in the classroom I teach in. So I’ll tell you the same thing I tell all of them, that there are no favorites, I absolutely love them all to bits, equally the same. I’m never disappointed by her novels & adore each & every 5-star one of them <3
Slammed will always be my favorite! I liked Ugly Love more than Maybe Someday. I love all her books!
hello
Hopeless and losing hope are still my favorites. But adore all of her books
I love hem all, but if I were to pick just one with me on a desert island, it would be Hopeless.
Thanks Maryse!
Without any shadow of a doubt, it has to be Maybe Someday! I LOVED THAT BOOK SOOOO MUCH! Colleen’s books have never disappointed me and I have loved every one I have read. But MS, WOW! That book just surprised me in so many ways. The innovative idea of having the soundtrack with it was just genius. I adored being able to listen to the songs as I read it. I couldn’t stop listening to the music, I couldn’t stop reading the book! That was one of the greatest reading experiences I have ever had. It’s made me want every book I read to come with a soundtrack! <3
Colleen’s books keep getting better and better! I loved Ugly Love and my tortured Miles!
Thanks for the awesome giveaway!!!
Slammed is my favorite. Cant wait to read this one!!!! I love Colleen Hoover!!
My favorite Colleen Hoover book at this point is Maybe Someday, though it’s so hard to chose! The characters are beautiful and relatable and so well written that it seems like you are living in their universe. The album that comes with it just completes it and helps the reader visualize. CoHo has done it once again 🙂
I absolutely LOVE Colleen Hoover I can’t decided which book I love most, since Slammed is the first Colleen Hoover I read I will say Slammed. I have all of her books on ebook but, I wish I could afford to get them in fiscal form. So thank you for having this giveaway!
Slammed
I have loved every book I have read by her!!
Loved Slammed, Ugly Love and Hopeless!
Ugly love was sexy, raw, heart wrenching and beautiful all at the same time. I have not yet read the Slammed series but I will be purchasing and beginning them tonight!

Slammed is my favorite. I live in the same town as Colleen and I was standing in line with her at the post office. I got to talking to her and she told me she had just published her first book. She ask me for my address and she sent me a signed copy. I love Colleen. She is an awesome writer and is a very giving, loving person!
I can’t pick just one favorite! I loved Hopeless and Maybe Someday!!
My favorite Colleen Hoover book is Maybe Someday! I’m dying to read Ugly Love!!
Hopeless is one of my all time faves. She is a genius.
I love Hopeless. It was such a beautiful story 🙂 and HI lol
Im freaking out right nowwww!
Maybe someday was just beautiful, awesome book, maybe my favorite tho I haven’t read the slammed series yet. I just think Colleen is a genius with words.
I haven’t read Colleen’s books yet But they are on my to buy book list..I have heard so many of my friends say how good all her books are..Can’t wait to get them..This would be so perfect to win but not counting on it..I enter so many things on here for books..But i do plan on getting them..
I have a hard time picking a favorite of Colleen Hoover! Her writing is beautiful and I truly LOVE all of her books. I can’t wait to read this book! Thanks for the great giveaway!
All of them, but right now–Ugly Love.
My favorite book by Colleen Hoover is MAYBE SOMEDAY, but I really like them all, she is such an amazing writer!
I commented on this book half way through reading on the CoHorts FB page and it sums up EXACTLY how this book made me feel:
“I am dying… LITERALLY DYING!!! ok… not literally. About half way through Ugly Love. I want to punch Tate in the face, I want to punch Miles in the face… Colleen Hoover I kind of want to punch you in the face… This book… OMG!!! Chapter break over. Respect to those who read it in one sitting.. my heart just can’t take it … Its going to burst open out of my chest and all over my clean sheets… I AM LITERALLY DYING!!”
But I did keep reading and after I removed all my soggy snotty tissues from my bed, I punched out another message in between sobs onto the discussion group:
“I finished at 2am and am still crying, still feeling the intensity of it all. I said it over in CoHorts but will say it here too. I really wanted to punch Tate in the face for being so stupid, I really wanted to punch Miles in the face for being so stupid. Half way through I really wanted to punch Colleen Hoover in the face for writing such stupid characters and making me feel like I was going to die from a heart attack. Now I am finished? I want to hug Colleen for doing it again, *deleted this part because I don’t want to give away spoilers* Much love and respect. *mwah*”
The intense feelings this book provoked, the way it stole my breath, I know I will be ruined forever. I have read every one of Colleen’s books. I am a proud CoHort member. I pimp her to every book reader I come across. She is my idol, and I may secretly or not so secretly be in love with her brilliance.
Thanks for the chance to share and maybe win a little somethin’ somethin’.
My favorite Colleen Hoover book?! Hum this one is hard to know … bc I get what you said about slammed and I also have a soft spot in my heart for this one, but I think I Hopeless is my favorite.
Great review btw… I was going to read “after I do” today, but after your review I know have to read this one like now! 😉
The first book I read from Colleen Hoover was Hopeless which I absolutely loved! then I read maybe someday which was also fricken amazing and now after just finishing ugly love I honestly don’t think I can pick a favorite! They were all such profound reads that really made me stop and think and I think that’s what colleen does best with her stories and it’s what draws us to them. I wish I could pick one but I’m gloriously stumped! 🙂 lol and ill be reading the rest of her works as soon as I free up some space on my tbr list! 😉
Hopeless was my fave!
I haven’t had the good fortune to read Colleen Hoover yet, but Ugly Love has been passing by my eyes so much lately, and the reviews are so good. I have also been musing over Maybe Someday. What a great giveaway, and if I win, a wonderful bunch of reading and reviews I will be doing. Thanks for the giveaway!
I haven’t read “Ugly Love” yet but I have read her first seven books and “Maybe Someday” is definitely my favorite Colleen Hoover book (so far). 🙂
I desperately want to win this giveaway! Thank you for the opportunity!
Ooh that review! Gah, makes me want to get hold of that book right now! I have only read Slammed by the author but look forward to reading more. 🙂
My favorite is Hopeless
OMG! This is an amazing opportunity. I have not have the pleasure of reading any of Colleens book! 🙁 (sad I know) Even though I have a Kindle (which I really should buy them on) there is just something telling me to get Colleen’s books in paperback. I have also searched high and low for these in every shop that has books and I can’t find ONE! (Thanks UK. thanks a lot!!)
But I have seen the amazing thoughtfulness from Colleen and she is a huge inspiration to me. So no matter what happens I would like to thank Colleen for giving me hope and it was a pleasure to meet all you lovely Ladies.
Again thank you for the chance!
Happy Reading/Living
Colleen Hoover is my number 1 must read author. I dont even think is this a book I’ll enjoy? What’s it about? It doesn’t matter because if Colleen wrote it, I know I’m going to FEEL every line, and that’s what I want from a book. I want to feel it! I want to experience it! Sitting on the sidelines looking in isnt nearly as enjoyable! With that said my favourite book of hers is Slammed with Ugly Love a very close second!
I stayed up till 3 last night because I couldn’t stop! It’s been awhile since that’s happened. I loved it! I really wasn’t sure what was going to happen. Perfect ending. I think it’s my fav Colleen Hoover.
I haven’t read Ugly Love yet but I adore Colleen Hoover and although it’s a tough decision, my favorite is Maybe Someday. Thanks for this awesome giveaway!
Loved Slammed!
I never thought I would find another book that I loved as much as Slammed…until I read Hopeless. The way Colleen writes her characters is just brilliant. The “soul deep” connection that she makes us feel with her books is simply astonishing. Hopeless has some really heavy things happening in it, but she somehow still keeps the focus on the main characters’ love for each other, and not all of the tragic events in their past. If you haven’t read it, I HIGHLY recommend it!! <3
I love all of her books but my favorite is Hopeless. Unique story for all ages, incredible characters, even the secondary ones.
My fav is Hopless, just love the story. But I like all of her books. I am halfway through ugly love and she did it again. So relatable and real characters, it is awesome.
I actually own both Hopeless and Maybe Someday bit I have yet to have the chance to read either. I hear nothing bit great things aboit Colleen Hoover’s books and I wish I could own them all but they do get a little pricey. This one everyone has raved about and I would love to read it.
Oh, I don’t think there is only one favorite book when it comes to Coleen Hoover. They all are my favorite. <3
Ugly Love? Change the name to Ugly Cry, because that’s what you’re going to do. My favorite read of the summer!
I don’t have any books of Colleen, but I want read Ugly Love!!!
I’m so excited to it.
Although I love all of Colleen Hoover’s books, my absolute favourite was Slammed. I read it about two years ago and I love it, before that, I hated reading. That book, along with Sylvain Reynard & E.L James’ books were what got me into reading. I love Slammed because that book makes me feel every emotion possible! It’s one of those books that I always recommend people to read.
Hopeless
Maybe Someday is my absolute freaking favorite! And, I’m almost positive Ugly Love is going to make me reconsider. Each one of her books is overwhelming
slammed
The Slammed series are my favorite books from Colleen. Will and Layken are just characters and I love their story! Though I do love all of Colleen’s books.
Hopeless was my first and favorite. Thanks so much!
Slammed I’d my favorite! One if my all time favorite authors. Thanks for introducing me to her work!
I’m torn between Hopeless and Slammed . I loved both books.
I absolutely ADORE every Colleen Hoover book – most are in my ‘most beloved’ book list and I’d love to have the hard copies (sadly am yet to find them in the shops here in New Zealand!). Each have done a little something different to me and stuck with me in different ways. My favourite changes day by day. Today, while thinking about entering this competition, ‘Finding Cinderella’ just won out. Daniel and Six’s story was super sweet, charming and heartbreaking all rolled into one. I just felt like exploding while I was reading – crying happy tears, sad tears, ANGUISH, joy etc. Exactly the type of feels I love when I read a book. Absolutely was a 5 star read for me!
Colleen Hoover’s new book has been blowing up my feeds on facebook. I can’t wait to read Ugly Love. Bonus to get all of the author’s book too. Thanks!
I haven’t read her books yet but I really, really would *love* to read them all soon, especially Hopeless! ♥ That one really caught my attention right from the start and I just can’t wait to follow Sky’s journey. It will be amazing to read all of her books someday — they all sounds phenomenal! This is such a wonderful chance. Thank you so much for this giveaway, I’m so excited! 🙂
My favorite Colleen book is Hopeless, it’s the book that cemented my love for her books.
Just starting to read her books. Am excited!
Hopeless is what started my love for Colleen Hoover’s books
Thanks Maryse for the giveaway! Hopeless is my favourite book for sure, with Slammed a close second. Haven’t read Ugly Love but would LOVE the tote bag!
Thanks for the giveaway! 🙂

Okay so i LOVE ALL Colleen’s books but Hopeless will always take number one spot in my heart.. I read such a long time ago now and it has just never EVER left my heart!! Mrs Hoover has a beautiful awesome gift and I love it!!! (will there be a free pig thrown in the bag??? lol)
All Colleen Hoover books are a must read! but Hopeless is hands down my favorite. It was the first book from her that I read and simply after a couple of chapters my heart and mind were fully aware of how amazing this book is. Even after rereading the book my emotions felt like the first time I read it. there is so much meaning put into her words that you can forget you are reading a book and feel as if you were the character going through all what is described.
I have loved every book I read by colleen hoover. I haven’t heard read this one yet but I can’t wait to.
I love ALL of her books. I just finished Ugly Love and it was amazing and right at the top of the list. She’s an outstanding author and I would love this giveaway! Thanks for the chance.
It is nearly impossible to chose my favorite Colleen Hoover book, the’yre all perfection, but I think I have to go with Hopeless.
Hopeless, but I haven’t had the chance to read Ugly Love yet! 🙂
My favorite CoHo book is Hopeless!
Thanks for having this giveaway! xo
Hopeless was my favorite by far and I would love to read Ugly Love!!
Hopeless!! Maybe because it was the first book I read by her and it was so intense… so many feelings, I fell in love with her writting.
Slammed is my favorite book by Colleen Hoover!
I’ve read and loved all of her books but The Slammed series is one of my all-time favorites! Can’t wait to dive in to Ugly Love this weekend!
Gah!!!! Ugly Love was just amazing! Love love Mason.
Slammed is my fav!!
Oh I love every book written by her… each book is so different but I always know there is something that will surprise me.
I would say my fave book is Maybe Someday because I love the music incorporated into the book! Epic! Buuuuutttt after reading Ugly love that book broke my heart! It’s so lyrical and poetic and heart wrenching and angst-filled, just everything u want in a CoHo book! I literally sobbed and I’ve never sobbed before (cried yes and I did cry to Slammed) but the writing is incredible. She just gets better and better!
I just read this book and I am in awe of it. Perfectly and beautifully written! I wanted to jump through the pages and slap Miles at times and other times I wanted to jump on his lap! Haha. Perfect title for a perfect novel. Loved every minute of it…. and it made me ugly cry!
