What I want is a microwave, black friday deal or not, but got a bit overwhelmed, lol. Just wanted a microwave and then started thinking….do I want one that bakes? Probably not. But maybe? Lol. Need to walk away for a bit. Was thinking of a slow cooker too, because I dont like the one that is part of my pressure cooker. Then, I use a french press, but started looking at all the fancy coffee machines. Though do not want one that needs the pods. *sigh*

I just bought another crockpot. I now have 3 and all is as it should be. I like the kind that have timers on them. Bc then you can truly leave it on and leave for however long you need. And it’ll go directly to warm. My problem was deciding on the 6 or 8qt. I figured in the end bigger is better, in case I have parties or whatever.
My microwave is only about 6 years old. I was also overwhelmed and back then Sears existed and we narrowed it down to 2, just depended how fancy I wanted. I like simple, functional, but am not totally against getting with the times. I usually always adjust quickly and love a little extra. Mine is a Kenmore something. I use the defrost often enough, have the popcorn button down pat. 2x then start for a regular size bag. And use the numbers regular. Or 1 time for however many minutes. Sometimes I use the baked potato button. All that other fancy stuff? I don’t mess w/it. I have an air fryer for fries and nuggets or toasting some things and an oven to bake. No toaster oven here, I’ve never been fond of them. So, maybe just think what you’ll use it most for. Are you 1 to utilize extras? Are you set for certain devices cooking certain things?
I have a French press too. I used it for a while, but I just don’t have the time or patience right now. I have a filtered coffee maker, but I don’t even use that often anymore. I prefer lattes or cappuccinos and hated a Keurig bc of the pods, so tried an espresso maker for a while and results weren’t consistent and time consuming and it broke, in LOVE w/my Nespresso machine. I love my aeroccino for frothing and the espresso works great for me. Plus, I recycle the pods w/ the free package they send to do so in. And shipping is 1-2 days, since I’m a last minute procrastinator.
I’m diving back in after a cup of coffee. My buying styles tend to be between just one click no thought and overthinking for weeks and maybe not buying at all. No middle, lol.

The entire ROAM series by KIMBERLY ADAMS is FREE!! One of my most favorite and beloved series is totally free until December 2nd. I wish I could read these books over again for the first time. After Roam, read the Fire Ballad series which is a spinoff of Roam. Another book will be coming out soon!

Our kitchen is sunk in so it’s the only room I’ll use it in but that alone will be worth it. We’re constantly in and out and my floor always needs vacuuming!

Why not the rest of your house?
Good entertainment for my cocker spaniel. Gracie sits on back of couch and keeps track of it all over first floor and when it gets close to couch she barks at it. We call the roomba NAOMI after the house cleaner that I had that would come in once a week before I moved. I would rather have Naomi but roomba will have to do now. Too bad it doesn’t do toilets.
I’d have to get a second one if I wanted to do the rest of the house but it doesn’t need it nearly as bad as the kitchen. I’m curious how my poodle will take to it!
Actually you can just let it loose upstairs and it will run around cleaning for you it just won’t dock itself. I do that all the time in the basement.

I do the same thing with mine. I either use the virtual wall device to keep the roomba in whatever room(s) I’m using it in, or just close the door. When it’s done, it will alert you and then I just pick it up, empty it and put it on the charging dock.
Just take it wherever hit the button and it will run till it runs out. Then take back to charge.
Some people run theirs at night when they are asleep or when they are at work but I never do that. I always look the house over before it runs bc I have a dog. My dog is very well house trained but that doesn’t mean there isn’t an occasional accident because she is sick or she throws up etc. and you have never seen the damage that a roomba and a pile of dog poop can make. It goes through it and it is trailed everywhere!!! This happened to my friend and I actually went over and looked. There were poop smears all over the living room
(Very expensive) carpet, on the hardwood floors and along the edge of the sofa where it bumps into it. She had a professional cleaner come in. And the roomba was a mess inside. She just threw it away. But she bought another one and never ran it before looking around first.

I’m stuck on a couple things. I know what I want, but I always feel the need to see ALL of them before I choose and it’s mentally exhausting. I’ve decided to add a 12 year old or 13 year old boy to my list and have no idea what to get. I want to go far away shopping, but I have to wait forever for my hubby to get a day off to take me. For local stuff to finish my diy basket. Also, I dk what all I’ve got bc I didn’t take the time this year to carefully construct a list and I’ve just clusterly bought crap here and there and it’s so out of order. So, I’ll need to take a day in the coming week to look at it all together. Might as well wrap while I’m at it. I feel like I’m forgetting something.
Just remembered I had wanted a new whisk. I think it’s called a dough whisk. It looks different anyway and I thought it’d be great for things not getting stuck in the spokes. Well, lately everywhere I go, I see a bunch of colorful looking unordinary whisks as a hot holiday item or something and I think, oh how clever of a choice I had! Really ahead of the time this go around. And then I see it’s a scalp massager. 🤦🏼♀️ Funny enough, I go through this same thought process EVERY time I see them.

I just went with a simple, but fairly top rated microwave. Bit more exspensive than I thought, but my last two were cheap and did not last long. And my weighted blanket and a couple candles. Oh, and my favorite facial toner.
I’m planning on going on a strict monetary diet next year …or even start next month so thought do all now.
Oh, and agree that a lost for present shopping helps. A lot. Otherwise, like you, I end up with a hodgepodge of stuff, lol. But definitely leave room for those unexpected finds. Or a list of ideas instead of specifics.
Yay, you got your microwave! I’m intrigued by weighted blankets, but can’t use them yet. I tried restricting spending for 1 month once and it didn’t go very well. It didn’t go horribly either. Good luck to you!
I’m so relieved that Thanksgiving is over. It turned out great but was soooooo much work. I am now on to stressing about Christmas! Hee hee. I’m not shopped out as I only grabbed a few things yesterday at mall. I do plan on lots of online shopping on Monday.
I actually had my official Thanksgiving yesterday at my house… so that all of my boyfriend’s family could come. Best day ever. We laughed, and ate (and I skipped Keto for the day). OMG SO YUMMY!!! I’m so relaxed right now. Back to my book. P.S. I’m reading “The Great Alone” by Kristin Hannah and it’s amazing.

Just wanted you to know that I bought a couple of your blankets last year and they went directly to my car. I live in Kansas City and we can have bad weather, tornadoes and snow and ice storms. I am on the road by myself occasionally and I always worry about being stuck in one of those huge traffic jams you always see on the news or sliding in the snow off the road etc and being stuck in my car. So I have blankets, some snack, water, candles, flashlights, batteries, a halo charger and some extra clothes etc to be prepared. Also stuff for my dog in case she is with me. And I didn’t forget the toilet paper!
I love those blankets so much. What I’m doing is replacing old ones (or those undersized throws) with these. I need to make a trip to the local SPCA and give them all my blankets that I don’t use anymore.
I gotta give you all the info I got in a newsletter. Kresley Cole sent a letter stating that Monro, her next Immortals After Dark book, will be out early summer 2020 at the latest and From the Grave, the last Arcana book *SQUEEEEEE* will be out in Fall 2020.

Sigh, I can’t believe it’s December already?!? When did this happen? Where has 2019 gone??? Tomorrow is Cyber Monday. I need to decide what I still need to buy. I went shopping on Black Friday, but it was actually a pretty low-key year for me. *shrug* the kids are getting older…makes shopping a little more difficult, ya know?
Best book of November for me was The Reversal by Michael Connelly, a legal procedural/thriller. Huh. Not new and not even a romance? That’s not my usual, LOL.
In November, according to Goodreads I read 4 legal thrillers (all in the same series – Mickey Haller), two historical romances, and three contemporary romances. Best out of them (so, runners-up for Nov) were: the new HR by Julie Anne Long, Angel In a Devil’s Arms; and CR Just Say (Hell) No (Escape to New Zealand #11) by Rosalind James. I’m currently reading #12, Just Come Over. Nearly done, then I’ll start on the new one, Just Say Christmas. I don’t mind a good Christmas-themed read. And those hot rugby players. Whew. You know what I’m sayin’.
My November pick was Someday, Someday but that’s my 2019 pick and my all time pick too!
I haven’t started it yet, but its waiting patiently for me on my kindle! 🙂 I think I will tackle it after I finish my current library borrow (that I waited MONTHS for) Say You Still Love Me by K.A. Tucker.
Mine was easily The Queen of Nothing. It really is one of the best endings to a series I’ve read in a long time. 🙂
I like it when a series stays good throughout. It’s a bummer when the last book is a dud, which can occasionally happen. Glad you enjoyed this one so much.
