- Until Friday Night (A Field Party Book 1) by Abbi Glines <— YOU GUYS!! ABBI GLINES ALERT! A recent Abbi Glines book is on super-sale right now!! The blurb has me, and Cristina LOVED it (one of her BEST OF 2015 reads): “Abbi is one of my all-time favorite authors! This book was another testament to her awesome writing skills. Our h becomes mute after witnessing a horrendous tragedy and comes to live with her Aunt and Uncle. Enter the popular, good looking football player, with a secret of his own. One drunken night, he relays this secret to the one girl whom he knows won’t repeat it to anyone. It was such a beautiful story!“
- Act Like It by Lucy Parker <— FAMOUS ACTOR ALERT! BIG LOVE for this one from our fellow readers, and it’s super bargain priced today!! Bev HIGHLY recommends it!!
bev: Act Like It by Lucy Parker… I did like this book. Great chemistry, heroine, banter and flirting. No over the top angst, no ugly crying, no the mc is not a serial killer, or have split personalities. No Mauray needed because she loves too much. I’m not sorry to say.;-)
Cheryl: Finished Act Like It. Enjoyable, light-hearted read. Just what I needed for a vacation read. Thanks Bev!!

BARGAIN FINDS & READER RECOMMENDATIONS (NOTE: bargain priced when I added them, but prices can change on Amazon, so make sure to check before you finalize your order. Sales listed are for Amazon U.S., however some of the Amazon UK links also reflect the sale!):
- Silver (All That Glitters Book 5) by K.A. Linde <— LIVE!!! K.A. LINDE/HER LIFE GOAL WAS TO BE A NFL-WIFE ALERT!!!! Er… well not K.A. Linde. 😉 That’s not her goal, but her heroine’s. *snort* “Stacia Palmer had one goal in life—to become an NFL quarterback’s wife. For the past three years, she’s seduced her way through the university’s football line-up. But when she finally has a quarterback fresh off the draft, Stacia experiences a shocking change of heart...”
Tessa: Read All That Glitters Set people. It’s just good.
- Crazy for the Boss (Crazy in Love) by Ashlee Mallory <— LIVE!!! If only she could find him. And talk to him. If only she could get Troy Cameron to leave her alone. Just because they sit by each other in English 101 does not mean they’re friends. Or that she thinks he’s hot. Or that he’s exactly the guy she needs tonight…“
- The Last Kiss by Tasmina Perry <— LIVE!!! Ooooh and the blurb says: “Fans of Jojo Moyes and Nicholas Sparks will love Tasmina’s new story about lost love and second chances.” She finds an old photograph and begins researching it with a reporter… “What they unearth isn’t just a passionate romance that restores Abby’s faith in love, but a dark secret of international importance that has been hidden for fifty years.”
- The Leopard King (Ars Numina Book 1) by Ann Aguirre <— LIVE!! HE’S A LEOPARD KING IN EXILE, and he wants to die… but… “…his dead mate’s best friend. She’s had her heart broken too, but she never quits. Karen: Reading this now! I love Ann Aguirre and this one is goooood 🙂
- First Kiss by Tara Brown <— LIVE!!!! I LOVE the cover and it’s a FANTASY BOOK! “…as she plans her escape, an unlikely cold wind blows into town, bringing with it something wicked. Things crawl from the shadows with stories of a curse, a girl, and a kiss. And nothing makes sense. Because Erralynn Lake isn’t who she thinks she is. And Lakeland isn’t her real home. It fact, it might not be anyone’s real home…”
- Passion by Jordan Silver <— BULLY BOOK ALERT!!! This one was the answer to a recent reader question that had me intrigued. And from the looks of the reviews, it seems to definitely be a “harder-to-take” read (someone mentioned a trigger warning). I haven’t heard of it until yesterday so I’m excited at the new prospect!! “…she’s in for a surprise when she meets Joshua Steele her first day of school. Josh isn’t your average high school kid, his IQ, his family’s wealth and his innate dominant personality sets him apart from all the rest and when the feisty newcomer snarls at him at first sight he sets out to show her who’s boss…“
- Neighbors (A Twin Estates Novel Book 1) by Stylo Fantome <— CRAZY ENDING that has Tessa in a tizzy bur she recommends it BIG TIME!
Tessa: Saying it now. This is book one of more.
I’m not done, but this is definitely ending on a CH. OMG, did the ball drop. Like, I knew a portion, figured it out, but OMG, the delivery and the dull details. CRAP! GUT TOMMY WRENCH WORTHY!
BTW, that end. That ending. It was perfect. It’s definitely not done. lol AND! I want to stomp on both of the men’s favorite part. Big time. UGH. Remember when I said my FLT, oh, it’s good. I’m confused. Not much angst. Love triangle-ish. THen it started to be more angst, but that end. STUPID PEOPLE! Now, to wait for number two.
Oh and if you can handle CH, huge recommendation to read Neighbors, even if it does feature people who are worthy of being strangled.
- F*ck Love by Tarryn Fisher <— TARRYN FISHER SUPER-BARGAIN ALERT! And I read and enjoyed this one, too! And here is my review!!
Leslie M: I’ve had F*ck Love on my TBR for awhile. It def does not sound “light” …..*gives side eye to Maryse & Amy* Amy, will it make me bawl me eyes out?? Your love of rip your heart out books scares me to death.
Amy: Leslie, I promise F*ck Love won’t rip your heart out. It isn’t nearly as angsty as The Opportunist, and it isn’t dark and twisty like Mud Vein or Marrow. That’s why we say it’s “light” for Tarryn Fisher. 😉 It may rile you up a bit, but no ugly crying and no tummy-eating-itself feelings!
Maryse: Agreed with Amy. It’s still pure Tarryn Fisher (she goes “there” when it comes to her kind of love stories) but it’s easier on you.
- Beneath Series Volume One: Beneath This Mask, Beneath This Ink, and Beneath These Chains by Meghan March <— MEGHAN MARCH SERIES BUNDLE (super-bargain) ALERT!!! Book #5 will be coming out in just a few weeks (and it can be read as a standalone) so now we can have the previous books, at an awesome price, too! “A tatted-up bad girl on the run falls for a former Navy fighter pilot in Beneath This Mask. Tattoo artist Constantine Leahy gets his second chance at society princess Vanessa Frost in Beneath This Ink. Party girl Elle Snyder won’t let anything stop her from scoring pawn shop owner Lord Robichaux in Beneath These Chains. But nothing will ever be the same when they look beneath…”
- Hausfrau: A Novel by Jill Alexander Essbaum <— OR MAYBE THIS WILL BE MY NEXT READ! Because of Amy!
Amy: I’m throwing this out there again ’cause, ya know, broken record and all that. Hausfrau.
She is THE anti-heroine. I was shocked and appalled by her actions. One in particular I despised. But I *never* despised her. Not once. She was a mess but I didn’t care…I loved being a voyeur into her life.
As for if she doesn’t get the guy…well, we all know *someone* always gets hurt when there is cheating going on in our books. That’s all I’m saying. That ending…I’ve never reacted this way to a book, but after I read the last line I ended up walking in circles and holding my head for like 5 minutes. I’m so not kidding. I literally did that. It still makes my heart and gut clench when I think of it.
Amy: R is reading Hausfrau!!! I’ve been dying for someone, ANYONE to read it so I can see their reaction. Maybe it will just be “meh” on her part, but that book effed me up BIG TIME.
R: The reviews are divided. The people who don’t like it don’t because of the plot, kind of like Author Anonymous, but I think knowing that going in, I can read it for what it is. And the writing so far is awesome.
Amy: The part where she is crying and begging to make it all stop…OMG I was sobbing. She is a hot freaking mess of an antiheroine, but dammit I just wanted everything to work out and for her to be okay.
Amy: Holy moly, you better update here or on GR because I am going to be stalking your a$$. *snort*
- Speaking of Amy… look what she found for us!!
“Hey guys, I found us some deals! White Trash Beautiful by Teresa Mummert, Beautiful Boss (The Beautiful Series Book 9) by Christina Lauren, Who I Am with You by Melody Anne, and All the Bright Places by Jennifer Niven…
- Tabula Rasa by Kitty Thomas <— KITTY THOMAS PSYCH-THRILLER DARK READ ALERT!!! By the blurb, I’d say it almost sounds post-apocalyptic (and Amy also found us this sale, too)! “I don’t remember how the world got this way, but my husband and I were lucky to find the deserted theme park when we did. I thought we were the only survivors, but a new man has come. Shannon. He scares me. He seems weirdly possessive of me. He’s going to take me out of the park, away from my husband and the only safety I have. I’m terrified to know what’s out there…” AND! The author explains the title:
“Tabula Rasa is pronounced: tab-you-lah rah-sahAnd the meaning of the phrase is:
1. a mind not yet affected by experiences, impressions, etc.
2. anything existing undisturbed in its original pure state.Since this is a book whose main character has amnesia, I thought it appropriate! Hope this helps. :)”

Thank you for sharing the release of my newest book Need You Tonight!!!
It sounds great, Rachel!!! 😀
Hey, I found us some deals that look GREAT!
The Lullaby of Polish Girls by Dagmara Dominczyk for .99 (normally 11.99)
Isle of Palms by Dorothea Benton Frank for 1.99 (normally 12.99)
Crow Lake by Mary Lawson for 1.99 (normally 10.99)
Hood by Emma Donoghue (author of Room) for 1.99 (normally 10.99)
The Long and Faraway Gone by Lou Berney for 1.99 (normally 12.99)
They are a little different from the norm here, and with those normal prices I had to share them. Normally 10.99 to 12.99, and all I have to lose is a couple of dollars? Click! That’s how I have found some of my favorites. *cough* Hausfrau *cough* 😉
Rachel, can I fangirl for a second? Good, because I’m going to! The Five Stages of Falling in Love…*sigh* LOVED it. 😀
Thank you for posting about The Leopard King! <3
Absolutely my pleasure, Ann!! 😀
*reads her rant* Uh… um… In my defense, uh… The ones my anger was towards really needed to be stomped on.
Amy! Star Crossed series! *happy memory sighs*
Looking forward to tomorrows release of Heart’s Ease by Susan Fanetti. God’s Eye the first book in this series was a top ten read for me for 2016!
Rachel, I second Amy’s fangirl of The Five Stages of Love and also fangirl over Every Wrong Reason. Need You Tonight sounds less gut-wrenching and more of a fun read. 🙂
I’m right there with Amy and Cheryl!!!! 😛
Amy I would like to kick you!!! Normally we love the same books but Hausfrau-Novel-made me want to punch the bi**h in the face. I put it at my top suck books ever!!
Um…sorry, I guess?
Yes Tessa! Happy Star-Crossed memories indeed. 😀 Kiran and his dream world… *swoony sigh*
ok, who’s read The Scribe by Elizabeth Hunter? Tessa? It’s not new so I know some of you have to have read it.
I started listening to it on Audible today and the narrator’s voice is seeeexy. THEN the story is so good. I got sucked right it like it was a whirlpool.
“I got sucked right it like it was a whirlpool.” <——- BAHAHAHAHA!!!!
Hehehe Yeah, I did read it and loved it. I haven’t read the third one yet, but I really did like the story far more than the Elements series. One of the Michelles read and loved it as well. Don’t ask me which yet.
One more day then the best of September reads needed. I’m screwed. This month was insanely good.
*sadly shakes head at total failure* I tried so hard to phrase that so that it didn’t have sexual connotations.
MARYSE!!!! I just finished Pretty Stolen Dolls!! It was amazing! BUT…..it ends on a CLIFF HANGER!! Big time. Book #2 Pretty Lost Dolls comes out November 28!!!! I Would have waited if I’d know.
I started to add their names next to yours sincerely it’s something they may have read to but since RL is keeping them away lately… 🙁
I’ve also been thinking about what to choose for my Sept. favorite. It’s been such a varied reading month for me that I have books from multiple genres to pick from. Picking “the one” for the month is usually hard to do.
*sincerely = since
Autocorrect, don’t start with me tonight. I’m not in the mood. 🙁
Denise…GAH poor Jade was such a mess! 🙁 But how about that twist near the end?? That was totally a what-the-sh!t moment!
Even though I’m boycotting the second one over the authors not being upfront about it being the first of two books (because I’m mature like that :P) I will admit PSD was pretty dang good. 😉
Absolutely Agree With You!!!!! But, Loved It. I’ll be sitting over here pouting 🙁
Amy , I still love u. Ur the best!!
Fabi, now you’re talking to your autocorrect as if it’s alive. Scary, girl……. :0
OK The Scribe is a mere 1.31 $AUD so I just one clicked. Sounds good and a bargain to boot 🙂 At that tiny price, it’s worth a shot.
ack, posted this to the wrong thread!
Alright, it’s late at the end of the month. Best book of Sept, go!
These are my contenders:
Magic Binds (Kate Daniels, #9) by Ilona Andrews
Neighbors (A Twin Estates Novel Book 1) by Stylo Fantome
Empire of Storms (Throne of Glass, #5) by Sarah J Maas
Arcana Rising (The Arcana Chronicles, #4) by Kresley Cole
Oh, but Jan, you’re missing out on that sexy narrator voice. At least listen to the sample on Amazon. Hope you like the book. I’m not far along since I only listen in my car but this is one that I have to stop myself from cheating with the whispersync between Kindle and Audible.
Lol Tessa, I wondered why you posted over there. I’m too tired to look through mine tonight. But what’s there is my complete list because I won’t be finishing another before tomorrow morning.
Woohoo! I just got an email I’ve been approved for an arc of Pansies by Alexis Hall.
Hey, that brings up a question…if I read an ARC in September, but the book won’t be published until October, can I still use it as a contender for my “favorite of month”?
Who made up this game anyways? *looks around whistling*
Speaking of…where’s Bev?
Fabi I’m not used to listening to books except when on long car trips, and sadly my husband (who is usually with me) doesn’t have a taste for romance books …… But your description of The Scribe audio is tempting. Maybe I need to start finding more opportunities to listen to books 🙂
As to fav book of September? Hmmm. Sep has been a pretty average month for me on the new books front. I was on holiday in England and Wales for most of the month anyway, and probably didn’t do as much reading as usual.
I think I’m going to have to go with a re-read – an oldie but goodie. While I was away, and in the mood for Ye Olde Englishie, I re-read a Mary Balogh HR, Slightly Dangerous, and really enjoyed it. So sweet and romantic. *sighs happily* So, I guess that gets my vote.
Book I’m most looking forward to in October is Christina Lauren’s Beautiful. Hope it lives up to expectations :0
Best books for September…..
Loverboy by Lauren Gilley… 5 perfect perfect perfect stars
Banking Her by Mystery Max …best lol novella
Today & Tomorrow by Susan Fanetti …best heart crusher
Honorable mentions…..
The Debt by Karina Halle
For the Love of English by AM Hargrove
The Muse by Jessie Burton
The Goal by Elle Kennedy and
Playboy Pilot by Keeland & Ward
Its been a good reading month…twelve books read, the GR reading challenge is looking on track.
Well well well only 30% into Retrieval and already want to slurp Roman up with a spoon. Cannot wait to dive back in later today and then on to Transfer!!! I was going into Pretty Stolen Dolls after but now not so much!!! Sorry you guys read it not knowing about CH!!!! I swear there should be an author code of ethics!!!! Or maybe a commandment!!! “Thou must reveal cliffhanger of all reads.” It’s a cool rainy day in WV so off to finish chores and back to Roman. Have a great day guys!!!! Xoxo
@ Jan – here’s what I do (and I highly recommend to all). Download all reading apps to phone, buy headphones, wear headphones while listening to romance books and ignore husband & son!! There, problem solved!!! Hee hee
I’m actually listening to book on my phone right now …. ignoring my family while putting away dishes and laundry. Works like a charm!!
Leslie, I do that too; well chores and run while listening to book. I guess in a round about way I’m also ignoring my family!
Just finished Retrieval/Transfer. It was a rollercoaster of great/ok/meh for me. It certainly started off with a bang and had my gut twisted, then it seemed to flatten out and I could put it down. Transfer was good, but I think I just liked the H/h from book one better. Did like the ending. Maybe 3.5-4 stars for me.
Ohhh, September, September, September…so glad you’re over.
Out of 17 books I only had 4 five-star reads. That’s practically unheard of for me. I probably had more dnfs than 5-star ones, although I don’t really know since I don’t count those. I just try to forget them as quickly as possible. *snort*
Aaaanyways, since I force myself to choose THE ONE for the month, I going to call it
Not A Game by C. Gardening
It was super sweet and feel good and filled with warm and fuzzies. Exactly what I needed for my September.
You guys are killing me with Retrieval & Transfer. I have loved so many Aly Martinez books. I wanted to dive in head first. But all of you who have read them are coming back with meh feelings. 🙁
The author of Not A Game is C. Cardeno
Autocorrect! You are wrong! Again!
Best books for September:
The Silent Waters by Brittainy Cherry Definitely #1 Sept. read
Turbulence by Whitney Garcia Williams. A close 2nd
Can’t Touch This by Tess Hunter. Just an enjoyable LOL book
I agree Fabi just started Retrieval and love what I’ve read so far at 30% in and now I’m seeing meh reactions!!!! Oh well I’m still all in.
I’m going with A Prayer for Owen Meany just because of the sheer epic-ness of it, but as far as romance, Wild Abandon fo sho!
Alright I narrowed it down to two now. The other two were awesome, but these were kind of epic.
Empire of Storms (Throne of Glass, #5) by Sarah J Maas
Arcana Rising (The Arcana Chronicles, #4) by Kresley Cole
ha! I had those two pegged for your favorites.
😀 They were intense. Empire upped its game big time, and Arcana was pure insane. Only sad thing about Arcana is there is only one book left. *cries*
There are so many great books in the Kindle First October picks that I don’t know how I’m going to choose one!
I read a lot of great books this month. 2 favorites: The Silent Waters and Tracing Holland!
Finished Retrieval and I liked it! Especially that ending! The storyline was not something I was expecting. Jumping right into Transfer!
Special shout out to the 2 last books of the Unyielding series by Nashoda Rose (Perfect Ruin and Perfect Rage) which I also read this month. Oh and Banking Her novella (love that series!)
Fabi…Evelyn, After was *screaming* my name so I had no choice but to click it. 😉
Bev, there is a Sherlock marathon today on BBC America!!!! 😉
I know right? It sounds fantastic. But so do the thrillers. *sigh* I’ll have to think about it. Maybe you can let me know how that one goes for you?
After? Did I miss something? *scrolling back up*
I agree with Bev and Cheryl, I loved Act Like It! And Bev, it did totally give me that same feel as The Hating Game! 🙂
I’m starting Unsuitable. 🙂
Holy moly, bev is going to have a sherlockgasm when she finds out. 😛
Jean…it’s a book on Kindle first called Evelyn, After. It sounds SO freaking good, even though I already know I’m going to hate her husband!
I only read 7 books in September… wow, that’s abysmal for me. No 5 stars, boo. I haven’t had a 5 in a LONG time. That makes me very sad.
Hard to say what my fave book for the month was. Stone Cold Touch by Jennifer Armentrout was 4.5 stars or A Secret Affair (which I read as an ARC that will be released this month) by Carina Adams, Jeannine Colette, Leddy Harper, Nicole Hart, Lauren Runow, Stephie Walls and S.L. Ziegler; they’d be my tops for the month.
Cheryl…did you get an ARC of it??
Grey…it’s probably because I heard it a few times while I was reading the series, but now I always associate the song Heathens with Roth. I swear, me with songs and books. *shakes head* But I can’t wait to get my hands on A Secret Affair (yes, I know how that sounds *snort*), especially since some of them are going to be full-length novels. 😀
Grey I think youre probably a bit more discerning about who you give as 5 star rating to than I.
I probably need to toughen up my rating system because when I read an extrordinary book I feel like I need a 6 star option. I dont really have a system for scoring…its just all on emotion and feeling state.
Im not sure I can do Retrieval/Transfer. Ive bloody well downloaded them now but Im thinking they might be triggers for me.
Lisa I think I do the same thing when rating…..depends on my mood at the time. I’m not sure what your triggers are, but I didn’t really expect what was happening with Retrieval/Transfer, but I am liking the storyline.
Just browsing through amazon and I found this book title which made me giggle so I thought I’d share it:
A Bear Victory: BBW Hockey Werebear Mail-Order Bride Second Chance Romance (Puck Bear Brides Book 1)
Could they fit any more descriptors in there? Maybe a taboo step-brother, who just happens to be a billionaire? A missed opportunity…..
Hey, the book might be fine, if you’re into that kind of thing LOL 😀
That’s so funny Jan. We were getting all crazy silly here one night and making up names for books that sounded like that one above.
I finished Entrapment… Oh man! 4.5 star loved! But for the love of all cliffies…sh*t!!! I have to wait 3 months?!? WTF!!! *Stomp, stomp, stomp!* Aleatha Romig, you have got to stop doing this to me…or maybe, I should stop being such a greedy book glutton and wait until all of the books in the series are out, before I inhale each individual one like it’s vital to my personal survival! Nah … Where’s the fun in that!
Oh Jan….thats hilarious!! They totally dropped the ball on that title….needed ‘billionaire bad boy secret step-btother’ in there somewhere for sure! 🙂
I tend to avoid reading books about fertility struggles and failed pregnancies. I dont know…maybe it wont bother me. I’ll give them a go.
Amy, Unsuitable released today.
Lisa, Retrieval/Transfer does deal with those issues, but there’s more to the book/story than that.
Ooooh. Unsuitable…..new shiny’s.
Losing It by Cora Carmack is only 1.99 right now.
Alright, can we be any more quieter here?
I finished The Goal but didn’t really like it as much as the other books in the series. Tuck was a sweetie, but Sabrina? I just couldn’t like her and I think that kinda spoiled the book for me. Ah well. Can’t win ’em all. Roll on Beautiful. (tomorrow yaaay)
Jan, that seems to be a common opinion with The Goal (about the h) but apparently the H makes it all worth it. 😉
Tessa’s right, it HAS been quiet in here…looks like we’ve all been busy with RL stud or otherwise wrapped up in great reads. Okay, I’m going to steal a bev tactic…
Three things:
1. I just consumed 13 different flavored honey sticks.
2. I’m eyeing a bag of birthday cake Hershey’s Kisses.
3. I want a pet Raven.
1.) I just ate spaghetti and meatballs (and I haven’t had any in ages).
2.) Then… I ate a piece of cannoli. And it was delicious.
3.) Black crows are part of my daily morning routine. And they are noisy! I don’t want a pet crow.
I wouldn’t mind an RL stud 😀
Yeh, it is quiet. OK, I’ll play 3 things too.
1. I just started reading Goldenhand, the new one in a YA fantasy series I have enjoyed. (Looks good so far.)
2. My cat just jumped up beside me to sniff at my coffee cup, then wandered off, disappointed.
3. I’ve just been adjusting our clocks. Daylight saving started here in south-eastern Australia on the weekend, and now all our clocks should be an hour forward, but I hadn’t got around to changing them till this morning! (It’s Monday morning here).
1. I’m beta reading “All In” from the whirlpool.
2. The water is freaking cold because I’ve been in here for hours.
3. Somebody needs to bring me a glass of wine.
Ooh forget wine. Maryse needs to bring me a plate.
My favorite book of September was also maybe my favorite book of the year so far!! A Promise of Fire by Amanda Bouchet was a great fantasy romance!! The mystery, the magic, the humor, supporting characters. The heroine was awesome and tough and the hero was pretty great too!!! 10 plus stars:)
3 things:
1. I just got my brows tinted and waxed for the first time at Ulta.
2. How do you ladies choose your makeup??!!! There was sooo many options… I couldn’t choose!!
3. I’m excited to watch Westworld tonight on HBO.. robots?? Sci-Fi?? The Wild West?? Bring it on!!!
3 things
1. Spent a rainy day curled up in pjs watching a few episodes of Longmire.
2. I’m walking and it feels like fall. Everything is damp with leaves, pine needles, and acorns on the ground. And I’m wearing a coat!
3. I’m going to spend tonight curled up in pjs reading The Goal.
Yeah, people!
Three things huh?
1. I’m outside with little dude while he is throwing himself on the ground in his imaginary fight. I guess the bad guys are winning.
2. I want a white Russian. I am out of vodka, so that’s not happening.
3. Nanowrimo is next month and my outline is chaotic. Random scenes with no order. Ahhhhh!
4. Extra 4 for the fun. I want to get A Promise of Fire even though my PNR plate is full.
YAY!!!! Everyone came outing the woodwork to play three things!! I’m cracking up reading the “things.” 😉
And yes, crows ARE noisy…that’s what makes them fun! I miss my crows from our old house who used to wait every morning for me to throw leftover food out for them. 🙁
Amy, you need a pet.
LOL Bev that is one seriously cute doggie.
Niki A Promise of Fire looks good. But my TBR is out of control already! First world problems…….
Or this, Amy.

Tessa and Jan!! It is so good!! I was up til 5 Am a couple of nights because I couldn’t stop reading!!!
Oh bev, is that gorgeous kitten for real, or do you think they used the ‘cute’ filter in photoshop? LOL.
Three things:
1 its freezing cold and raining (sometimes hailing) so Im staying indoors today, reading. So much for Spring.
2 My dog and cat are eyeing each other from opposite sides of the room. They have a weird love/hate co-dependency going on that could be the basis for a perfect H/h set up.
3 Im reading Furious Rush and getting a bit over the miscommunication, half truths etc but fear without them there would not be much plot.
Yeah Lisa it’s cold and rainy and stormy then sunny then rainy again here all day. Spring? Huh. Whateva. Anyway, good weather for staying in and reading 🙂 I’m lost with Nicholas Sayre and Lirael, beyond The Wall. Lots of magic happening…… (Goldenhand)
‘Do you think they used a cute filter in photoshop’……..
Is that a ‘thing’ Jan? If not it should be! ! 😉
Well Lisa I just made it up, but there is a filter for nearly everything else, so why not? 😀
Do you get the feeling we’re the only ones awake Jan?
You two were. I fell asleep early last night.
