So what’s Jagged about?

Author Biography:
Kristen Ashley was born in Gary, Indiana, USA. She nearly killed her mother and herself making it into the world, seeing as she had the umbilical cord wrapped around her neck (already attempting to accessorise and she hadn’t taken her first breath!).
Kristen grew up in Brownsburg, Indiana but has lived in Denver, Colorado and the West Country of England. Thus she has been blessed to have friends and family around the globe. Her posse is loopy (to say the least) but loopy is good when you want to write.
Kristen was raised in a house with a large and multi-generational family. They lived on a very small farm in a small town in the heartland and existed amongst the strains of Glenn Miller, The Everly Brothers, REO Speedwagon and Whitesnake (and the wardrobes that matched).
Needless to say, growing up in a house full of music, clothes and love was a good way to grow up.
And as she keeps growing up, it keeps getting better.

I do love all of Kristen’s men but the one that stands out in my heart the most is Tate. He is as beautiful inside as out. He loves deeply and is loyal and faithful to his friends and family. He is modest, doesn’t like to be the center of attention if it means putting someone else down. And, he is sexy as hell. He is my ultimate Alpha book boyfriend.

Ok, so I started by putting my comments in the wrong place. So let me say that I love Kristen Ashley and it was your blog put her on my radar so long ago. I would have to say the Tate from Motorcycle Man is one of my favorites because he was my first of her books. Tack from Motorcycle Man was next and can’t really say he comes in second. They set the Alpha male standard for me because they are not 19 or 25. They have lived a bit which adds to the depth of the story. Anyway my two cents. This new one goes to the top of my TBR list.

Oh my god! I first discovered Kristin Ashley from you, Maryse, when I was looking for anything and everything biker and edgy after reading Madeline Sheehan’s Undeniable series.
I saw you mention her Dream Man series. So of course, I looked up the other then went on Amazon and bought all the books she had out. I fell in love with every single alpha male she’s created, and there have been many times where I would force myself to put the book down right after a squee moment – Which happens a lot – to take it all in, and give myself a moment to recollect myself, and maybe also because I never wanted the book to end – which of course I wanted the ending to!
If I had to choose a hero.. Oh my, how do you choose? But if you must force me to.. *Sigh* I would have to say that Lee just does it for me. Of course, all the Hot bunch do, Lee.. He’s just wicked badass.
I’m excited about the release of Jagged! I just can’t wait to sink my heart into the crazy ride that’s awaiting!

I love all her books and she one of the few authors that I re-read her books pretty much on a regular basis. Lets see, got to love Tate and Tack, probably my two favorites but Chase was so super sweet that I have a soft spot for him too.

I love KA! I’m a sucker for a biker so Tack stole my heart but I adore her Rocker Chick series. I’m slowly working my way through all of her series & books. So far I have not come across one I have not liked!

I wish I could pick just one, but that’s just not possible! Tate was my first dive into Kristen Ashley so he’s probably special to me for that reason, BUT, my faves in no particular order are Tack (addictive), Hawk (delicious), Knight (dreamy), Ty (hot stuff), Joe (love him!), Luke (yum), and Vance (sigh). Tack and Joe would be tied for #2, well, maybe #1. Shoot, I can’t pick!!

ALL TIME FAVORITE AUTHOR!!!!!!!!! I love her books–her sexy alpha males! I found only a few rare books that even come close to K.A. Books (and I’ve looked hard). Thank Goddess she is a fast writer –still wish she had a secret vault of completed books so she could release at least one once month. Wouldn’t that rock!! Tate and Tack are my favorite at the moment. That will probably change once I start to reread them ALL again (probably for the 4th or 5th time). Love you site Marsye!

Kristen Ashley is one of my most favorite authors. I am addicted to the alpha males in her books and how she takes seemingly ordinary people and makes their characters their lives their involvement in each others lives extraordinary. I’m thrilled to pieces that jacket is coming out on November 5. I hope she writes another one soon after. Because of her books I’ve embraced my inner rock chick, my biker babe, and my I can do anything chick.

Errr and Knight and Creed and did i forget Hawk and Tate and Mitch? Hmm.. How about a fave angst moment instead? When Ty and Lexie were on the beach and he says ” Your nightmare, Mama, was my dream”. Great bawling moment for me!

My favorite KA book was At Peace. I loved Violet and Joe’s story. I loved the way her protected not only Violet but her girls as well. The story had the perfect amount of mystery, suspense, family, crime, love and romance.

My favorite is Tate bc he kinda reminds me of a modern day Jamie from Outlander. Also, he can be crass and he has a bad temper but he always makes amends in the best possible ways. My second fave is Cal. That man certainly knows how to put a good woman thru some hurt but like Tate, he makes up for it in a big way. My fave book is Games of the Heart bc I love the dual romance of Mike and Dusty and Fin and Reece and the overall family/friends feel to the Burg series! Love love love KA!

With every new KA book comes a new favourite hero. But the ones I find myself rereading over and over are Joe Calahan and Ty Walker. With this said though, the Rock chick series will always be my favourite because it introduced me to all that is the amazing Kristen Ashley and her beautiful characters.
