So today’s news should be interesting!! Lots of authors are at the RT Convention (Romantic Times Convention), and I’m fairly certain there will be tons of fun stuff going on there.
By the way…I forgot to tell you all, I met Gena Showalter on Tuesday!! Yup, she had a book signing nearby (lucky me) and while I had no idea if I was going to be able to make it, I was lucky enough to get off work just in time to get there for the last hour. I even picked up her latest book release Into the Dark. I have video, and awesome pics to show you soon. She is as sweet as can be! Blogpost dedicated to Gena coming up…
Also, I’m currently reading “Lover Mine: A Novel of the Black Dagger Brotherhood” (who isn’t?). It’s awesome! I’m loving it and it’s a long book, so thankfully it won’t end too quickly. More on that book, shortly.
So let’s spy on our authors, shall we?
- Larissa Ione is the victim of plagarism!! An online blogger has copied entire chapters from one of her books and posted them as her own…? Whaaat?? Whoa!! That’s all sorts of wrong!
- Elizabeth Naughton blogs about her book: “Marked (Eternal Guardians)“
- Christina Dodd needs help with titleson Facebook
- Gayle Ann Williams is off writing another book in the Tsunami Blue world. Can’t wait to see what’s next!
- Shannon K Butcher is enjoying the RT Convention (she had a panel this morning about the author/agent relationship)
- Marie Claude Bourque spent the day at RT in rehearsals with hunky guys (cover models??)…wonder what they’re rehearsing? Here she blogs about her day (but no rehearsal details as of yet).
- Some authors are working away amidst the busy Romantic Times schedule (Alyssa Day completing edits, and Michelle Rowen handling online promo pieces).
- Gwen Hayes gives us a sneak peak to her gorgeous book cover.
- Laurell K Hamilton is already 100 pages into her next Anita book! Her music selection is agreeing with her too!
- Yasmine Galenorn gives us the titles for books 10, 11 & 12 in her Otherworld Series: “Courting Darkness (Camille), Shaded Vision (Delilah), and Shadow Rising (Menolly).”
- Lilith St Crow is preparing to write the next Kismet book (choosing her soundtrack)…
- Twilight twitters a link to a note from the next director (Bill Condon) for Breaking Dawn
