<— Look what just went live today! I know a ton were anxious awaiting the first two on my list (both, part of very popular series) plus there are a bunch more that look fantastic!
- Locke (Corps Security Book 6)Β by Harper Sloan <— I hear some *squeeeeeeing* going on. π
- Two Roads (Gypsy Brothers Book 6)Β byΒ Lili St Germain <— JUST RELEASED!!!!! (Gypsy Brothers Series Reading Order)
- Torture to Her Soul (Monster in His Eyes Book 2)Β by J.M. Darhower (highly anticipated sequel and our early fellow readers are loving it!)
- Chasing Abby (Shattered Hearts Book 6)Β by Cassia Leo <— Amy says: “Such a good series! BUT, *donβt* read ahead on the blurbs β especially Abandon and Chasing Abby β because it will spoil so much in the previous books. They read pretty fast, too.” WOW!!! Look at all the amazing reviews!!!!! (series reading order)
- Stepbrother DearestΒ by Penelope Ward <— AMY just told me this one just went live and she says: “looks angsty with a forbidden-ish angle.” <— YAY US!!!! “When my stepbrother, Elec, came to live with us my senior year, I wasnβt prepared for how much of a jerk heβd be.Β I hated that he took it out on me because he didnβt want to be here.Β I hated that he brought girls from our high school back to his room.Β But what I hated the most was the unwanted way my body reacted to him.” and then… he leaves. Until… “When tragedy struck our family, Iβd have to face him again.Β And holy hell, the teenager who made me crazy was now a man that drove me insane.” Eeeeep! Yah… I gotta read this. *wicked grin*
- FaCade (Deception series Book 1)Β byΒ Ker DukeyΒ &Β D.H Sidebottom <— DARK READ!! From the blurb, she’s married to a VERY bad guy and has no memory of it, but… “Now my memories are slowly returning. And they show me a completely different side to meeting him. Our dates, falling in love. The Dante haunting me in the shadows of my mind is loving, gentle and utterly enamored with me, nothing like the man with me now.Β And this is what taunts me. My tender lover turned into a debauched, cruel sadist who is determined to consume my life, destroy my mind and murder my spirit.” Diane said: “Facade was unbelievable. .so far these Two authors have written my top three best books of 2014!” and Kiki loved it too: “LOVED FACADE!!! So Dark & Twitsted!!!!”
- Owned By Fate (a Serve novel) (Entangled Brazen)Β by Tessa Bailey <— BDSM club and a reporter is writing an article… and the owner sets his sights on her.
- Reforming the Rock Star (Entangled Indulgence)Β by Christine Bell
- The Understatement of the Year (Ivy Years #3) (The Ivy Years)Β byΒ Sarina Bowen (hereβs my review of book #1:Β The Year We Fell Down)β¦ So good!
- Dylan (From the Inside Out Book 3)Β by S.L. Scott <— OH!! Love triangle??
- Austin (From the Inside Out Book 4)Β by S.L. ScottΒ <— OH!! Love triangle?? (these are the two guys??)
- Love NouveauΒ by B.L. Berry <— Amy found us this new release, too saying: “…looks like it is going to hurtβ¦and yβall know how much I love those!” and Sharon said: “I read Love Nouveau – It was stunning” and Liz is loving it too… “Hadn’t heard of Love Nouveau. Started reading the Kindle sample, forgot it was the sample, and barked like a seal when I ran out of words to read!! Needless to say, I’m now the proud owner of the ebook! I have a bunch of the other ones, as well!!” <—Β I’m thinking THIS should be my next.
- Surviving Broken (A Mathews Family Novel Book 4)Β by Beverly Preston
- Filthy Beautiful Love (Filthy Beautiful Lies Book 2)Β by Kendall Ryan
- His (Hers Book 6)Β by Dawn Robertson
I already read Locke this morning… it was AWESOME!!!!
Yeah!!?? But they are not standalone, correct? I need to read this series ASAP!! Maybe I’ll start tonight. I want bad-ass alphas!!
Look at these two that I one-clicked this morning! Stepbrother Dearest by Penelope Ward, released yesterday and looks angsty with a forbidden-ish angle. The other is Love Noveau by B.L. Berry, released Saturday (I think?) and looks like it is going to hurt…and y’all know how much I love those! π
Oh! And the first book of the Inside Out series (Scorned) is FREE! The others are only .99. It looks sooooo good and right up my reading alley!
Mmmmm…I picked up bubble gum vodka and four flavors of Dekuyper Pucker (I want the Berry Fusion one but couldn’t find it!), so tomorrow night is Blow Pop martini night!! *happy dance*
*frowning* What?!?!? Tuesday release day/martini night is becoming a regular thing for me!! π
Hey, I agree Amy… Tuesday release day is worthy of a weekly celebratory martini. Or 5. π You know.. we need to make extras in case the martini-snatcher comes along and grabs one out of our hands… *whistles innocently*
Hey maryse! I had a quick question I wanted to ask if that’s okay? I bought the Fallen crest series by Tijan bundle and I’m just wondering if you (and anyone else who’s read them) would suggest reading Mason the novella first or not? I know Mason came out after the first few and I don’t want to read spoilers so any advice would help! Thanks in advance π p.s LOVE your blog!
Thank you AMY!!!
I’m adding ’em in right now! π
Sara – I also bought the Fallen Crest bundle and I am on book 2 right now. Yes you can read Mason the novella first it doesn’t give any spoilers away. I think it helped me understand the family dynamics with Mason and Logan and why they are who they are. I would suggest reading it first.
I just finished Axel – the first book in the corps security series – and I really want to get to Locke’s story now! I’m loving this series so far – the perfect yummy alpha reading tangent I needed π
Oh, don’t you try to look innocent Maryse!!! π I have Island Punch Pucker, Watermelon Pucker, Grape Pucker and Sour Apple Pucker…and I want the Berry Fusion Pucker but couldn’t find it. *pouting* See? I’m well prepared with enough to go around in case “someone” decides to get grabby hands!
Awesome, Michelle! I’m going to start tonight then…
Sara, I’ve read the series but haven’t read Mason yet. OMG, love him! My feeling is that I liked finding out about Mason through Sam’s eyes first before getting the back story from his POV. Plus, I love the angst that comes with not knowing what the guy’s story is. But that’s just me and how I like to find out about things, and Angie says it is safe to read it first, so I would say it’s a matter of *how* you like to learn about certain characters. Hope that helps! π
Mmmmm GRAPE PUCKER!!! I want that purple stuff! π <--- sorry... I couldn't help but reference my favorite comedian Dave Chappelle. He cracks me up to NO end!!
Where on earth do they get those cover models?! The body on the cover of Locke is making my head spin.
Sara – I agree with Angie that the Mason novella helped to understand the relationships a bit better. I’m on the third Fallen Crest and am lusting after Mason.
OMG, I forgot about that!!
“What the f%#$ is juice?” and “The ingredients are sugar, water and purple.”
But the best is one is “I want that purple stuff” when he’s talking about the Sunny-D commercial. LOL!!!!!!!!!
Ooh My God .. just bought LOCKE .. I’ve been patiently waiting ( Not so much ) for his story. The nightmares he experiences in Book 1 – AXEL had me hooked and I know it will be a tear jerker like everyone of these books. Can’t wait. thanks Maryse!
LOL! AMY!!!!!!!
Dave Chapelle rocks my world.
Thanks Sara!!!
I actually haven’t read that series yet, so I want to thank Angie, Tracy and Amy for the help with your question. π
Georgia!! You make me so excited to read this series!!!
What are they? Bikers? Mercenaries? What is the “premise” of these alphas and their group?
I know, right Tracy? That’s a good cover. π
Maryse, they are ex-Marines that bonded and opened a security agency together. All the characters are interesting in their own way and it was just a quick entertaining read for me. I loved the storyline in the first book too.
YAY!! Okay thank you Michelle. Sounds perfect!
Had to click on Stepbrother for all the good early buzz. And of course Torture to her Soul. I got three hours of sleep last night reading Monster in His Eyes and am almost done and know I’ll need the next.
Maryse, the Harper Sloan Corps Security books CAN be standalones but there IS somewhat of an order to them. Each book is a different couple, different situations etc…I read the 1st four out of order, two of them (Axel & Cage) were in separate anthologies that I read a while back….& I never felt like I was missing anything by not reading in order. I just LOVE these books, these guys….I can honestly say I love the Corps Security alphas more than any KA alpha. GASP!!!!
One more for either today’s list or tomorrow’s list…Chasing Abby by Cassia Leo (Shattered Hearts series) came out yesterday. Such a good series! BUT, *don’t* read ahead on the blurbs – especially Abandon and Chasing Abby – because it will spoil so much in the previous books. They read pretty fast, too. π
Wow, some angsty sounding books in this list. Stepbrother Dearest, Love Nouveau and FaCade interests me, but I see that FaCade is book one in a series, is it a standalone? Interesting play on the title, is the H’s name Cade?
Bring on the blow-pop martinis!!!!!!
Yeah I’m thinking we need some blow-pops myself!!
Amy I added them! Did you see the crazy amount of awesome reviews Cassia Leo’s latest one has!?
I can’t wait to read Locke….read Cooper this weekend and loved it. But then again I always love the alpha male. I so need one….although I am not sure how I would handle them bossing me around….lol
Let me take a look…
*checking Amazon*
Do you mean Chasing Abby?? ‘Cause I am *floored* by the reviews on that one! It just came out yesterday, and as of right now there are over one hundred 5-star reviews, one 4 star and one 3 star. WOW!! Now I’m really anxious to read it…but I started Drowning Instinct today so it will have to wait until after that. π
Thank you so much for the shout-out Maryse! <3 <3 <3
And I can't WAIT to one-clock some of these other bad boys!
One clock? One CLICK!
Was sooo excited about Stepbrother but just not connecting. Kind of skimmed/skipped ahead and nope it’s not for me. Not sure why I’m so picky and resistant lately
Maryse, sorry for the delayed response. Ex-marines that bonded and now work together in a security firm. The first book Axel starts off the series with young love but with soo much realistic heartache. You need a box of tissues when you read any of the books. I’m not one that easily cries but with this series it was quite easy. Very well written that you can’t stop reading. Locke is introduced in the first book and seems to have the most demons. Enjoy!,!,
Yippeee!!!! I loved Penelope Ward’s books. Next up I am definitely reading Stepbrother!!! Also loved the Fallen Crest series!! Read all the books twice!! Hope there’s a next one and of course coming soon!!
So many tbr’s I can’t take it!! In the process of moving and my reading time is seriously suffering!!!
Bev, I go through spells like that as well sometimes. I’m reading Drowning Instinct right now and I’m already hooked, but the last time I tried to start it (probably a year ago or so) I just stopped…and I really have no idea why other than I was most likely in a reading funk! π
Lisa M, I know there is another Fallen Crest book coming out (next month, I think?), and someone mentioned on here that there will be a fifth book. I love that series, but I’m waiting for the fifth book to come out before I read the fourth because of how the third book left off, LOL! If it keeps going that direction, I am not taking the chance of getting all pissy and then having to wait for the fifth book, ya know? Oh, and keep coming around here and your TBR list will grow even more!
Thanks ladies! I haven’t decided if I want to understand him better and read the prequel or skip it and hate him until I love him π
Fallen Fourth Down by Tijan released earlier than planned & is already live… And I just finished it. Amy, there is definitely another book coming.
Shelly, you have no idea how badly I want to read FFD! I am *really* trying to resist it until the fifth book comes out though…we’ll see how long my self-control lasts!
Sara, trust me…I don’t think you will hate him, even if you don’t read the prequel first. He is a very hot, broody and loyal enigma, and I loved the slow peeling back of his layers through Sam’s eyes. But like I said, that’s just how *I* like to get to know our book guys. π
OMG!!!! Fallen Fourth Down!! How did I miss that!! Oh I can’t wait to start it!!!!
Agh, I can’t read it yet! *sniffles* I have to wait until tonight.
Sara, I’d recommend you read the prequel last. It does have some minor spoilers that will make the prequel better after the first three. Also, like Amy said. You can’t help but love Mason.
