Latest Paranormal & Contemporary Romance Book Releases – April 28th 2015

I was sooooo excited to see The Mistake on my kindle this morning! Yay!!!! It was great that we didn’t have to wait long for the second book!

Been wanting Bad Romeo and heard there was a cliffhanger so now that the 2nd book is out, I can move onto that series…. I need to read Carter Reed based on everyone’s reactions. And I wish Overruled wasn’t so much money… that looks good!!!

I finally am reading The Deal with everyone praising it. I’m glad I did too. I haven’t stopped laughing. *grins*

I finished Empathy. I liked it, especially (ironically) the tiny burst of humor. However, after a few scary ones, this one didn’t have me freaking out. *shrugs* I did get Desolation, because Ryan… yeah.

Bad Romeo is very high on my tbr, but I’m trying to wait for the whole series. Really hate CHs.

The Mistake – first paragraph – ha! So great. This is going to be a doozy of a read. I didn’t even hesitate, I simply put my other books aside and jumped into this one.

Maryse do you know the debt inheritance is free on Amazon right now? Just the 1st one though i have started reading but haven’t got far yet but he’s already a control freak bully u want to punch but are scared of o_o

I finished “The Mistake” and loved it!! John Logan is swoon worthy! I liked this one a little bit better than “The Deal” which is saying a lot cause that book was awesome! Can’t wait for Dean’s book next! Love this series!

Starting “Broken Juliet” next. So excited!!

Alright, I’m loving The Deal so much, I’m probably going to be jumping into The Mistake right away.

Squirreled from the Fall Away series and started reading The Binge after reading the sample(which seemed to be better written then the rest of the book). When I read the blurb it made me think of After I Do. Unfortunately, the writing is choppy and the H/h are annoying with their schizo feelings that change from I love you and want to make this work to you’re sh*t and I hate you from literally one sentence to the next over and over and over again! I’m at 75% and was tempted to not finish but my curiosity at where this was going won over. We’ll see…then it’s either The Mistake or Kissing Madeline or The Reckoning next.

Alright, and that was absolutely awesome. *grins* Yes, reading The Mistake right away. I should have read The Deal sooner, but oh, I’m glad I just got to read that.

I can’t believe how many books I’m going to be one-clicking. I can’t remember which book I read recently that said it, but she said she was going to be a one-click whore or something like that…um, I think that would be a fitting label for me. 😛

GAH! Does Broken Juliet have a CH as well?!? I have been *dying* to read Bad Romeo but have held off because I heard there was a CH…I don’t wanna have to wait for the next one now too!!! Does anyone know for sure yet? Anyone??

Okay, it’s been quiet here the last couple of days sooooo…ROLL CALL!! What’s everyone reading right now? I’m either starting The Mistake tonight or Bad Romeo and then Broken Juliet. Stupid tempting CH’s. Although The Beginning of Never is sounding good too…how can it not when compared to E&P and Twilight. Sidenote: MARYSE!!! Read E&P already!!!!

I read Degradation then Separation and had fun with them, but I have to take a break before Reparation ’cause I’m gonna tw@t-punt her if I hear games or liar from Tate one more time. She’s a-p!ssing me off.

Amy………Broken Juliet does not have a cliffhanger……in the blurb she says it’s the stunning conclusion to their story…..there is 3rd book though and I believe it’s about Ethans sister……….I started freaking out too because I’m reading broken Juliet next……so I just had to look that up;)

I’m reading Kissing Madeline, then I plan to read The Mistake. Then back to The Fall Away series.

Amy, the blurb for Broken Juliet says it’s “the final chapter in the Bad Romeo duet.” I want to read them too. I agree Tate needs a good tw@t-punch, but then again Jameson is “Satan.” 😉

Need to put E&P on my tbr list. Maybe I’ll buddy read it with Maryse. *snicker*

I’m finishing the second book in the Buried Secrets series by Silla Webb which I love and then I’m going to bite with The Beginning of Never and see what’s going on with that.

Hey, Amy. I’m at 20% of the Mistake. So far adore it. Going home and very quick dinner so can get right back to it. If it keeps up I doubt I’ll stop until I finish it.

Anyone familiar with the Quantum trilogy? All three are out and all have 5 star reviews! I get so excited when a series is complete and highly recommended!!!! Cannot wait to start The Mistake and so many others I’ve one clicked!!

Just started The Mistake!! “Drew Baylor from the Hook-Up”-that was a great book too!

I know! I can’t tear myself away. I have to go to work, but…I don’t want to leave Grace and Logan.

Now for my little tiny nit pick, lol. I wish the beginning before V day(or night) had lasted longer. More movies and water towers. I think may of given it a slightly bigger oomph. And, for me, more of a connection to how Logan felt afterwards. This could just be me though.

Loving, “The Mistake,” so far. That Logan, I was crushing on him since, “The Deal.”
I can’t wait to get on the train for my afternoon commute so that I can continue being in book bliss!!!

The Beginning of Never is soooooo gooood. Saw it on your list yesterday and finished it this morning! Super angsty and left with a cliffhanger – argh! Seems like it’s going to be the first of a trilogy and by the Amazon blurb of the second book it doesn’t sound like the angst is going to stop soon, but it’s really well written, great characters (leads & secondary) and just really good first love, heart-melting sweetness!

Niki, does it really!?! So. Happy. With The Hook Up I really liked it, just not love it as much as the buzz. Sometimes I think the buzz can work against me. But still a great read. I do want to read The Friend Zone. Just a great premise and liked the little sneak peek of it we got.

First off, read the Terri Anne Browning’s The Rocker That Holds Me. That one is a big heart tug. It’s one of my favorites. The rest, let me look through my books. I’ve read…a LOT, and Rockers are my thing I’m pickiest about.

I agree with Amy, Devoured was good and angsty. I have Groupie in my TBR as well, the TBR now one, but just haven’t tried it yet. Carnage and How to Kill a Rockstar… I’m the only one who didn’t like either of them. *sighs* The picky thing again, though in Carnage’s case, I just hated the heroine.

Michelle, PNR without a CH? Do such things exist? 😛 I’ll look at what I have. *grins* Though, Jennifer Estep usually doesn’t have CH, just next episode. Don’t they usually end the book’s story, even if the total arc is still going?

I felt the same way Jean! I finally decided to get back to the Gentry boys with Cora Brent because I wanted to stay in the CR zone and I’d loved the first one.

I think I am going with Nobody’s Dream (Masters at Arms series). I had been waiting for it for a long time and I just love the series so much!

Really, the book is better than that line. It’s rare to really like a character who is normally the villain, or the catty cheerleader in a typical story.

Tessa, Nobody’s Dream by Kallypso Masters. She is so broken but about to be saved by a hot cowboy who rescues abused horses. Love this series! You have me excited about Diamonds though CH or not!

I finished Overruled and LOVED it! I totally fell in love with Stanton Shaw and Sofia was amazing too. I totally recommend this book!

Deborah, did you read book two of the Mayhem book? (No worries, Anne. They are standalones. The second is about another bandmate). I’ve been staring at it, curious.

Oh, I read the first chapter of Gold, and the CH is basically the end of Diamonds. Then, it goes to months later. Which, poor girl.

Alright, back to the past!

Tessa, past/present can be tricky for me. I just be getting into the story and it switches to past and then be getting into the past and switch.
For the most part I think I like when the start in the past and then end up in the present. A Place to Call Home I thought did this well.
For the switch I enjoyed Creed. I also liked the The Secret History of the Pink Carnation, though that was a historical/contemporary switch. I love those covers in that series and am going to have to finish it……sometime,lol.

Tessa, I think it’s just a matter of preference and sometimes even just a matter of being in the right mood for a past-present sort of book. Like Bev said, she prefers the past first and then the present…I can go with either type – past and then present or past-present combo – but there have been times when it just wasn’t done well or I just wasn’t in the mood for past-present switches, so it didn’t work for me. Avoiding Commitment worked for me but I can see how it might not work for others.

If you can stick with it then you’ll have quite the angst ride ahead of you! At least it was for me. 😉

Finished The Beginning of Never and the ending was sooo annoying! I think the next part comes out in June/July. Will I read it, yes, but just because I want to know what happens and not because the book was amazing…it was just an average read. Not much happens really but I was intrigued to see if there will be something paranormal in the next one or if the Twilight comparison was off the mark. No way should this be compared to E&P either…that’s…well laughable.

I’m going to my tbr next and starting the Krinar Chronicles by Anna Zaires. Fabi, have you seen this series? I need scifi again. I thought PNR but this grabbed my attention.

Anne, I like most of the rock star books mentioned already, favorite being Thoughtless, but I also loved The Storm series by Samantha Towle and I enjoyed The Stage Dive series by Kylie Scott. 🙂

I am starting The Hook Up by Kristen Callihan 🙂

I actually finished book 1 of the Krinar Chronicles before starting Affair but I liked it, not loved but enough that I want to go to the next book after I finish my current to see where the story is going. It’s about a shy, yes virgin *cough cliche* that catches the attention of a Krinar who are aliens that have peacefully come to Earth. They claim they created humans from their own DNA and want to improve our living conditions and even changed our diet worlwide to promote healthier living and to save the planet because they are interested in cohabitation. It’s interesting and was a fast read so like I said I will probably just finish the trilogy since it did hold my attention. Ok back to Affair which I more than like right now 🙂
