I’m just reading Method 15/33 at the moment, about half way! Wow, this book is something else! Can’t wait to see where it goes from here.
I absolutely ADORED The Beau & the Belle. Such a lovely, well paced novel. Had me reminiscing about my teenage years, laughing at the pop culture references and swooning over the male lead. I love how Rachel can write romcoms without a single cringeworthy moment.

I just finished a marathon read of The Pebble Jar. I don’t remember who suggested this book, but THANK YOU!!! If you haven’t read this beautiful, heart wrenching, coming of age story, you really need to. I absolutely could not put it down! Every emotion was explored. I don’t want to give anything away, but even I sobbed like a baby. Read this book if you want your heart to be touched!

The love interest is younger & they instantly connect when his band is opening for her dad. Her dad freaks & but forbids their relationship….and it gets good! I can add spoilers, but I don’t want to ruin it for someone who wants to read!

Book #2 is a h who falls in love with a married H. He is in a marriage in-name-only (they got married when they were young bc she was prego, but lost the baby) but once his wife sees him getting happy she causes trouble. I THINK she owns a bakery & he’s a cop. NOT to be confused with the book not that long ago where the h owns a bakery, is on the run (she tells everyone her family is dead), and the H is a cop/fireman/something. He’s super sexy, Italian (?) & has a large family.
Anyway, I read this book YEARS ago & I remember it ended on a bit of a cliffhanger & every once & a while it drives me nuts bc I can’t find it to see how it all ended! Does this sound remotely familiar to anyone?
I love his dad though. He also has more songs I love than his son.
But I did love that album and his cover of Heroes, though different than the original.

2.) I just bought 7 effects Olay moisturizer (fragrance free!!) because it’s been my holy grail for years.
3.) I also threw in a zip-up cable organizer that stores all the cables, chargers, plug-thingies, external drives, thumb drives, and even a pocket for a tablet (aka my new Kindle)! 🙂 I love being organized.

Ok, so now I’m reading a cookbook. My aunt has been working on a cookbook for years of my Grandma’s recipes and it’s here! But, it’s so much cooler than I thought. She passed 3 years ago, it’s like a real cookbook you’d find in a store, and there are 125 pages full of pictures, recipes, and stories not only about her life, but from all her grandkids’ memories. Ahh, I might cry!

Seriously read Jellicoe Road. Now it made me cry. It is a bit confusing because the author just drops you in, but you know it was beautiful how it all unfolded. Plus, maybe nice that she is trusting us to catch up and figure it out. I promise. Read it.
It is awesome! You always hear about quilts or whatever that people have made, which I think is also cool, but we get books! And she was the best cook, I’ll never really need to look up a recipe again. So many of my favorites I’d forgotten about and new to me’s that I need to try. There’s even a cough syrup recipe in the back that has pop rocks in it. Lol, I didn’t even know they had those back then.

Ok I so did not think “The Day My Life BeganL by S Haven was my kind of book… huh maybe it was the cover… but boy oh boy was I wrong!
Emotional themes of high school bullying/violence, addictions, parental abuse, etc etc were involved….
BUT throughout this read I never felt weighed down from all the seriousness – mostly because the writing style and realism of the characters took me on a journey vs playing up the shock value.
