Happy Monday!! I’m going into the new week in a delightfully convoluted reading mess. I’m reading TWO books at once, and I’m loving them both, equally. But this is to be expected, as each book is by one of my favorite authors. And now… there are TWO books on today’s list that I’m dying to read (like that one there to left!! Hmm, The Librarian’s Vamprire Assistant looks good. I shall try it! Speaking of vampires, I watched The Lost Boys this weekend after hearing about it many times over the years. And, wow. Lol. I watched most of it open mouthed in disbelief, yet somewhat fascinated and intrigued as to where it was going. At one point I looked at hubby and said I can’t believe ppl make fun of Twilight. *shakes head* Another I can put under my sleeve and say I’ve watched it too.

I’m reading “Constant” by Rachel Higginson (in preparation for the conclusion’s release tomorrow) and I’m reading Tessa Bailey’s latest cop-in-training book. 😀 I’m loving both.

Tasha, in my defense, it was the first “scary” movie that didn’t give me nightmares. My friends tricked me into thinking it was a peter pan type movie. However, I ended up crushing so hard on Keifer’s character. lol 11 years old and crushing on the bad guy even then.

Lol, it has a pretty big following, I think, Tessa so I don’t blame you! It’s just not what I expected at all. They were gruesome though! It was pretty nasty in a couple parts and the action at the end was about the only thing that saved it for me from being a total dud. Interview with the vampire, on the other hand, I watched a cpl years ago and it did live up to the hype for me. I thought that one was fantastic.
Ooooh, I’m drinking hot chocoloate for the 1st time in probably a year. It. Is. FANTASTIC!!
I loved Interview with a Vampire. Don’t go see the Queen of the Damned, though. That one sucked.

I was craving chocolate, but I am not buying a whole chocolate cake. By the slice they only had vanilla…so that works to.
I like all cake except cheese, carrot, or cream cheese frosting.
But other than that all kinds of flavors or types.

Vacation with my friends and her daughter who just turned 21. First time there….. looking forward to it and just not having to work!
Mmmmmm…I like vanilla/white cake as well. For a while there was a French Vanilla Duncan Hines (or Betty Crocker?) mix with French Vanilla frosting and OMG!!! It was so freaking good.

We’re going to the Grand Ole Opry to see Dustin Lynch, Lanco, and some other artists, and then a tour afterwards. They add more artists as the date gets closer. Also going to Jack Daniels distillery which should be cool! Lots of local bands at all the bars.
This weekend I had the BEST bananas foster with the creamiest cheesecake ever! Yum!!!

I second Jean – Midnight Valentine was just WOW! I couldn’t put it down….The writing was crisp and sharp, and just when I thought I knew where it was heading – it completely took me on a different journey. First book to make my top 2018 list!
Bev, my favorite cake ever was carrot cake cheesecake from The Cheesecake Factory. *Drools* I’ve had bubblegum ice cream within the last few years. That’s a treat for little dude when he gets his haircut, and it’s not bad. The bubblegum is HARD but I remember it was all about getting gum, not the ice cream.
I remember when I was young, all my life, my dad would buy only Black Forest Cake. All chocolate with the cherries and kind of distinguished and I HATED IT. It was BORING “adult-people” chocolate cake, and yesssssss I forced myself to eat it ;)… but I always wished he’d buy something else.
Yet now… how I would love a HUGE slice. In fact, I totally get his taste for it.

Oh Jean, I read Midnight Blue too, I looved it as well. In fact I wanted to read “the little Prince” afterwards as I loved the quotes. I read it in a day too.
I love cooking especially cakes are my favourite. I make a really good chocolate mud cake with chocolate fudge icing and then I put either maltesers or marshmallows all over the top.
Don’t get me started baking and reading my 2 loves. Macaroons, Banana cake, Apricot almond cake, Orange cake.
Maryse “live me” by Celeste Grande, the sequel is out today or tomorrow “Breathe me” I looved that book too.
