Hey Maryse,
Hope you are going well! You and your people helped me find a book a while back and I’ve had another buzzing around my head, so thought you might be able to help me again.
Please forgive me if there are spoilers as I’m not sure if half of what I remember is real or I’ve made it up. Sooo….
A youngish woman (I want to say early 20s) has to leave her home (might be an abusive situation but I’m not positive). She goes to where her much older sister lives for help, but her sister is away so it’s her sister’s boss who she sees.
He is very rude and dismissive of her. He helps but thinks she is frivolous and flakey. He thinks this because of things her sister has said about her in the past.
He agrees to help but puts her in an old shack on the property and tries to give her crappy jobs to break her. Btw the boss is the H.
I won’t say how I remember it ending as that’s a spoiler. The sister is the bosses admin/secretary. It’s a farm or ranch type situation.
Anyway, hopefully you and your tribe are able to help. I love these reader questions, I always try so hard to find the answer to others!
