After reviewing your list of military romance trying to find a book I’ve been searching for months I thought I might just go to the source!
I only remember the secondary love story of the book.
It was a romantic suspense military where the secondary H was helping the wife of a killed friend. She is Muslim & pregnant & there was a scene where she was attacked I think in a gas station & they took her hijab & she hides & calls the H to help her & he covers her and carries her out.
That’s all I remember of the book. Their story, like I said is the secondary story so I’ve had no luck with my searches.
