Sejal needs our book help! Oooooh! Vampire marital strife + second chance romance?!! YES PLEASE!!!
She asks:
Hi Maryse!
I have another book that I’ve been trying to find. This is a vampire novel. Could be an author who has a series and this couple is part of that series.
So this is an estranged couple who have a son. The wife left the husband because he turned her into a vampire.
The son goes missing so the wife contacts the husband and they get a second chance while finding him.
Does anyone remember this book?
Thanks so much!
SejUPDATE BY SEJ – SHE REMEMBERS A BIT MORE ABOUT THE BOOK:
I do remember a scene in a train. They had a deep, emotional conversation. They had a suite in a train? A bed maybe? That sounds like this is sort of a historical, a time when the rich could get suites. But I could be mixing this scene up with some other book.
Oh I think I remember another scene. The reason why he turned her into a vampire is because she tripped and almost fell to her death on the stairs while human and he was terrified that she would die so he turned her.
The son is not a child. In his late 20s maybe. I feel like there was quite some time. About 30 years they were estranged.
Anyone have a guess?
Molly: I have posted this question on numerous book groups on FB and GR. There are members who know just about every vampire book there is. But no one has heard of the book. Can the OP provide any further details? There are quite a few of us wanting to read this book. Thank you!
Sej: Oh man, I’m sorry I didn’t see your comment. Thank you for posting in the book groups!
The book had been on my mind but I could be fuzzy on the details. Perhaps it wasn’t their son but some other reason.
