You’ve got questions? I’ve got answers!!! This is one of my most fun things to do, ’cause I get to “learn” as I go. I discover new series, and find out when some of my own favorites are going to be released. Like… the HIGHLY anticipated “Consumed” by Emily Snow. I have some WICKED good news for you, with that one!!! 😀
So here are the latest reader questions and answers (feel free to ask me more!):
Q: Molly: Maryse. I’m dying for Consumed by Emily Snow. Do you have any insider info?
A: Yes I do, Molly!! I The highly anticipated release in her Devoured Series will be out soon. In fact, chances are high it’ll be THIS weekend!!! Here’s a quote direct from the author’s website:
“I’m getting a lot of messages about the date change on Amazon. Please trust me when I say that this new date is incorrect. I am currently working to get it fixed, but please know that you will absolutely NOT have to wait until June or 2014 or even another couple of weeks to get more Lucas.
I love you guys and the fact that you are craving Lucas and CONSUMED, and I cannot wait for it to be in your hands. Rest assured…Lucas is around the corner. Like, so close I can reach out and touch his guitar.”
and then a comment response requesting a date —> “It’ll go live this weekend, guys.”
Q: Neika: Is Mia Asher Arsen getting a follow up? I neeeeeed to know “if you know who” gets his happily ever after…anyone?
A: I looked it up and it’s sort of… “up in the air” right now. Here are a few responses that I found on the author’s Facebook fan page:
“awe! I can’t say no for sure because I love *spoiler* too much but *spoiler* and *spoiler*’s story is finished…” <— Sidenote: hehe. Yah she didn’t say spoiler… but I couldn’t spoil it for y’all that haven’t read this one yet. P.S. This is her “latest” answer to this question, so maybe things are percolating? 😉
“There is no book 2 in the works”
“not at the moment. I’m working on something different”
“Not at the moment, but I’m considering the possibility of a spin off” <— side note: this, too sound promising for us!!
Q: Lilianne: Fool’s Gold series. When can we expect to read about Angel and what happens to him?
A: Angel’s book will be called “When We Met” and will be out in April 29th 2014. Here is the synopsis from the author’s website:
Angel Whittaker earned his scars the hard way, but the scars that can’t be seen are the ones that haunt him the most. Since he moved to Fool’s Gold, California he’s cobbled together a life for himself as a bodyguard trainer. If he’s not exactly happy, at least his heart is safe.
Working with pro-football superstars taught tough-talking PR woman Taryn Crawford one thing – she can go toe-to-toe with any man. But then dark, dangerous former Special Ops soldier Angel targets her for seduction . . . and challenges her to resist his tempting kisses.
Even in 4-inch heels, Taryn never backs down. Unless, somehow, Angel can convince her that surrender might feel even better than victory.
Q: Donna: Is Sweet Dreams the first book of Kristen Ashley’s Colorado series or is the Gamble #1?
A: Hi Donna! The Gamble is #1. 🙂 I started with Sweet Dreams ’cause at that time I didn’t know it was a series. I didn’t have an issue following though, as both books are standalones and barely have anything to do with each other, BUT! As the series progresses they start matching up with the characters that re-appear in future installments, and the series starts flowing well together. But! They still each read well as standalones. I hope that helps! (P.S. Here is my review for “The Gamble” and for “Sweet Dreams“)
Q: Jennifer: Isn’t the new (final Sookie) Charlaine Harris book out yet, the one where she is supposed to give us closure on other story lines?
A: Yes it is!! I don’t know how I almost missed that one, but here is the Amazon link: After Dead: What Came Next in the World of Sookie Stackhouse. Although, by the reviews, I’m not sure there was much closure… However it looks like she spoke of this back in July, pre-release, in an interview with “SciFiNow” (here are a few quotes from that interview):
“It’s not a novel, but an alphabetical listing of all the characters in the series, or at least most of them – I couldn’t get everybody in – with what happens to them after the series is over,”
“So there will be Sookie, Sam, Eric, Tara and JB and just about everybody else will be in there with just a little line or two to say this is what happened to them afterwards because I don’t want to keep getting those questions for five years after when I have a bad habit of forgetting what I make up at one point so I make up a whole different answer!”
Q: Melinda: hi, can you please tell me when the next Dark Light series will be out, written by S.L Jennings please?
A: OMG I LOVE that series! It will be called “Nikolai: A Dark Light Novella” and I have a feeling it will be released in November. How? Well ’cause I know the next one will be Nikolai’s book, I know she’s been posting teasers lately and she just posted this (mind you this “something special” could be the cover, because just a few days ago she also posted that she was staring at the cover and would be releasing that, soon), but still. I have a feeling… soon (and I AM SO READING IT!!! I LOVED Niko!):
“I’m not saying you guys should tune in tomorrow for something extra special…
But you guys should seriously tune in tomorrow for something extra special! I’m super excited…EEEEEEP!!!
Carry on.”
She also posted this (which gives me the “November” hint:
“I just have to share how excited I am about #Nikolai I am in love with writing this story. Damn, is it November yet? I’m ready for you all to dive into his dark, sexy mind! He may even be my favorite Skotos”
And here’s what she says about “Niko”
“You know how Dorian is the more strong silent type? Very sensual and romantic, yet very alpha? Always perfectly poised and calm?
Well, Niko is NOT like his big brother. He’s in-your-face, IDGAF, over-the-top sexual. He’s ruthless and he has no problem playing the villain. But there is this sadness inside him that just makes you want to love him. And he can be so sweet and playful…”
Q: Summer: Hi! I was wondering if you knew when the sexy conclusion “Light Shadows” (book 3) by S.L. Jennings was going to be released?
A: Ahhhhh that one is still up in the air for now. The author just recently posted this, in response to that very question:
“No clue. It will be AFTER Nikolai, which is based on Dorian’s brother.”
Q: Colleen: Do you know if Kim Jones will be doing a third book on the Saving Dallas biker series.
A: Yep! It’ll be called “Saving Dallas Forever (Saving Dallas, #3)” and is expected to be released in 2014.
Here is a quote from the author’s Facebook fan page:
“So, people have been inquiring if the third book in the series will be about Luke and Dallas, and if it will be the last. Forever is about Luke and Dallas, and unfortunately, it will be the last book in the series. Although, I am considering writing a book about the history of Red and Regg. Any thoughts?”
