<— I was told this one has a very “Kristen Ashley” feel to it, and OH MY YES PLEASE!!!!
My fellow book-blog buddy, Angie went CRAZY for book #1, and that’s when I first heard of it a few months ago. And then I received a few awesome recommendations for it too, so guess what? THIS will be my next read (I’m starting today). Yep. I just one-clicked it! YAY ME!!! Book #1 and book #2 are both out (#2 was just recently released), and number 3 is coming out on my birthday. How’s that for luck?!!! 😀
Jennifer: Jennifer: Hey there…. was just wondering if you’ve read Devney Perry’s books “The Jamison Valley series”. So far there are 2 books with the 3rd out for preorder for August. I just read them (took me less than 24 hrs to read both). Has the alpha male and mystery/suspense to it. And of course there were parts of the book that I would bust out laughing so hard that my 9 year old daughter would say “Guess you’re liking your new book?” Very Kristen Ashley feel to it!! Can’t wait for the next book! Hope you have a great day!!!
Linda: Maryse I just finished an absolutely best read and I don’t think I’ve seen it on your blog. The Copper Smith Farm House by Devney Perry. Couldn’t put it down!!! I’m actually pouting because I wish I could read it all over again for the first time!!! Anticipating a snowstorm here in the panhandle of WV so maybe snuggled in with another great book!!
Angie: Yessssssss! OMG. The Coppersmith Farmhouse is amazing! I LOVE Devney Perry. That series is so full of twists and turns! A must read.
About book #1:
One old farmhouse brought them together. It could also tear them apart.
Gigi has just uprooted her whole world to start a new life. The unexpected gift of a farmhouse in small-town Montana is just what she and her daughter need to escape big-city loneliness. The last thing she needs is attitude from the town’s sheriff, the most perfectly attractive and ruggedly handsome man she’s ever laid eyes on—and a complete jerk.
Jess knows all about women like Gigi. Beautiful. Sexy. Scheming. She’s stolen his sanctuary, the farmhouse that should have been his. But along with a face full of freckles, she’s got a sharp wit and a backbone of steel—something he doesn’t discover until after making a complete fool of himself. If he can earn back her trust and win her heart, he might just find the home he’s always needed.
