The beautiful book that stole our hearts has become a series because book #3 ➔ (Still Me: A Novel) was just announced! *squeeeeeee!!* Now, I know I don’t have to introduce this story to you, right? But just in case, here’s my 5-star book review of Me Before You by Jojo Moyes.
By now I’m assuming EVERY romance reader has fallen in love with these characters, but!!!! In case you haven’t jumped in yet (movie, or book) I BEG YOU TO. PLEASE!!!! This love story is unforgettable and life changing (and I’d recommend you go in without reading spoilers or any of the adamant recommendations below, as we definitely go all out, emotion-wise.
They conversations below are not exactly spoilers, but… you know… a little too much for those wanting to go in blind. 😉
Lanie: I read Me Before You upon reading your review and I might never forgive you for it. I swear my eyes were swollen for days after that. I might not make it through the movie
Maryse: What’s a little “i’ll never forgive you” between friends, right? *giggles*
Carly: Me before you, without a doubt. *Sighs* That’s the only one that’s coming to mind right now, and I’ve read tons that made me feel everything, but that little gem is just….Everything!
Aditi: just finish up reading me before you and must say from now on jojo became my best author. this is the best book i have ever read so far

Cheryl: It’s a beautiful story, but damn!! Rainy, melancholy day. In my head I keep thinking if only he was paraplegic not quad he could still do things and be somewhat independent!!! My husband keeps telling me, you know it’s a book right, he’s not real. *BLOWS RASPBERRY AT HUSBAND*
Amy: Me Before You…it is SO worth the heartache. It’s a beautiful heartache…. I swear, the movie Me Before You made me love Emilia Clarke even more than I already did. And my Sam Claflin crush just deepened all the more…
R: I finally saw Me Before You today and I honestly think reading it beforehand may have saved my life. My poor daughter on the other hand had no clue. I’ve never heard gasping sobs quite like that come out of a person in public. The whole place was staring at us. I rubbed my hand over her back to soothe her, but let’s face it, I was really just making it known that the crying wasn’t coming from me.
Northernstar: I just finished Still Me by Jojo Moyes, the conclusion to the me before you series. The second book left me unsatisfied and I was chopping at the bit to get to this one. It did not disappoint. This book continues with the self discovery of Louisa Clark as she moves to New York City. I loved the characters in the book – my favoirite was Dean Martin. Although I would have liked an epilogue it was a wonderful read.
About book #1:
They had nothing in common until love gave them everything to lose . . .
Louisa Clark is an ordinary girl living an exceedingly ordinary life—steady boyfriend, close family—who has barely been farther afield than their tiny village. She takes a badly needed job working for ex–Master of the Universe Will Traynor, who is wheelchair bound after an accident. Will has always lived a huge life—big deals, extreme sports, worldwide travel—and now he’s pretty sure he cannot live the way he is.
Will is acerbic, moody, bossy—but Lou refuses to treat him with kid gloves, and soon his happiness means more to her than she expected. When she learns that Will has shocking plans of his own, she sets out to show him that life is still worth living.
SERIES READING ORDER:
Me Before You…
*falls back on fainting couch*
I didn’t even mind Amazon changing the cover of my book to the movie scene. Because Emilia Clarke and Sam Claflin.
I really liked After You as well, but I was also happy with how open the ending was left so I don’t know when I’ll read Still Me. Yes, I said “when” because OF COURSE I will read it, I’m just not in a hurry, ya know?
A Book 3? How did I not know? Of course I’ll have to read it…ahhhh, life is good!
