I hear this series might be for you, if you love the “Crossfire” books. I’ve also been told that there are no cliffhangers, and, book #2 has just been released. π This one’s for you, Maddie, since you asked me to help you find them, I figured I’d put up the reading order (linked up) for anyone else looking for it. I agree… #2 was kind of hard to find on Amazon, but here you go. π
Lori:Β You should also try Fixed on You byΒ LaurelinΒ Paige, great unexpected read (if you liked Crossfire you’ll like it)…
Lindsy:Β My favorite book in the past 30 days is definitely Fixed on You by Laurelin Page. Such a raw, honest, sexy book!
Kasey: …Β you have to add Fixed on You (fixed #1). I just finished it last night and it is amazing. So good and the lead Hudson is to die for. You won’t be able to put it down.
About book #1:
Stalking and restraining orders are a thing of Alayna Wither’s past. With her MBA newly in hand, she has her future figured out–move up at the nightclub she works at and stay away from any guy who might trigger her obsessive love disorder. A perfect plan. But what Alayna didn’t figure on is Hudson Pierce, the new owner of the nightclub.
He’s smart, rich, and gorgeous–the kind of guy Alayna knows to stay away from if she wants to keep her past tendencies in check. Except, Hudson’s fixed his sights on her. He wants her in his bed and makes no secret of it. Avoiding him isn’t an option after he offers a business proposition she can’t turn down and she’s drawn further into his universe, unable to resist his gravitational pull.
When she learns Hudson has a dark history of his own, she realizes too late that she’s fallen for the worst man she could possibly get involved with. Or maybe their less than ideal pasts give them an opportunity to heal each other and finally find the love their lives have been missing.
I just noticed that Bijou Hunter’s next book ‘Damaged and the Cobra’ just released, as well as Ava Lore’s ‘Hard Rock Remix’.
I disagree that Fixed On You ended with a cliffhanger. I read it a few months ago, however, I remember one of the main reasons I enjoyed the book so much was that it felt like a complete story. It didn’t have any overly drawn out unnecessary filler or angst. I was (and still am) wondering how the 2nd book will be or what it would be about. I plan on waiting a little longer for more reviews before I decide on reading it.
I have read both books in the series and I love them! No cliffhangers though- each book is left at a point where things are resolved for that portion of the story. I definitely recommend grabbing them, Hudson made me swoon!
Too funny…I literally just got done with the first one tonight. I came here and see a post about it. So far I’m enjoying the books….so much that I cant buy the second tonight because I need sleep. Can’t have yummy Hudson keeping me awake….hmmm or maybe I can! So sexy!
Thanks for the update on the “no cliffhanger” status. Love that! π
Just finished reading the first one and I agree, no cliffhanger. I really enjoyed it and will be starting the second one by the end of today π
Love this series! And the no cliffhangers is awesome. I LOVE Hudson.
Yay! I have heard great things about these books and was having a difficult time finding them. Thank you for posting them! They are now next in line on my TBR list!!
Loved loved loved the Thoughtless series. Which one or ones on your list from today have that feel?
I think it’s misleading to say that there are no cliffhangers. It is true that both books do not abruptly end but they are hardly complete by themselves. The first book is more complete but there are still many issues that are not resolved. The second book ends with a hint that there are still secrets to be told. The books end with the H/h all wrapped in a pretty red bow but there are deep waters yet to be explored that are foreshadowed and making you want to continue reading the next book in the series; hoping that all your questions will be answered in he end.
Wow, excuse my grammar. Next time I decide to make a comment, I’ll proof read.
I have recently read the shades of grey series loved it. Then I read the crossfire series loved it even more. Then the fixed trilogy and wow my favorite!!!! Can someone help me what to read next. Any ideas please π
Christine Nold the Up in the Air trilogy by RK Lilley is a fantastic read. Extremely well written. I’ve become a bit jaded by this specific genre but they pulled me in from the word go! I loved, loved, loved them.
