LATEST UPDATE: JULY 2nd 2019 (P.S. Scroll all the way down for a list of my reviews for this series). π
NOTE: Also included in this list, in the proper reading order: The Were-Hunter books, the Dream-Hunter books, and the latest “Chronicals of Nick” books (because of the character’s in these books, and the stories that are unfolding, they are still part of the βDark-Hunterβ series). They do merge, and important characters from the Dark-Hunter series have large roles in all the books.
About the series (as per the author):
In the world of the Dark-Hunters nothing is ever as it seems. Life and death both take on a whole knew meaning as this immortal cadre of warriors fight to protect mankind from those creatures and demons who would prey on us.

Thanks for posting the list! For some reason Sherrilyn’s new website doesn’t include the short stories chronologically with the main books.
My pleasure! These lists help me out too!
hey! thanks soooo much for that list!! i lost my files and getting them again in order was a mess.
you know were can i get the reading order together with the were-hunter books?
kiitos
Hi! Glad to help π Actually, the Were-Hunter books are also included in this list (because, officially, they were still part of the “Dark-Hunter” series), but here’s an impromptu list:
1.) Night Play (Dark-Hunter, Book 6) — Vane’s book
2.) Unleash the Night (Dark-Hunter, Book 9) — Wren’s book
3.) Dark Side of the Moon (Dark-Hunter, Book 10) — Ravyn’s book
4.) Bad Moon Rising: A Dark-Hunter Novel — Fang’s book
Thank you for the list; however, where does Blood Lite fit in the order.
Thank-you so so much! i’d got myself all confused with all the different lists. unfortunately the link to the free e-book doesn’t seem to work?
cheers
Hi Lysal! I don’t think it fits anywhere in this particular series (I know she has a short story in it, but I don’t think it merges with any of the Dark-Hunter series).
Hope this helps!
Thanks a lot for the list, I been looking everywhere for something like this without any luck til now. I know Sherrilyn saids that the books can be read in any order but I want to enjoy the full story.
Thanks
B
so i actually read 9 of the dark hunter books out of order. although i just finished bad moon rising and i wanted to find the list so i could see what i was missing. Needless to say this list helps alot so thanks.
also, just wondering do you think the dream hunter series is worth it to pick up, and does it somehow coincide with the dark hunter series ?
Hi Amanda!
I liked the Dream Hunter series. Not *as* much as the Dark-Hunters, but they do merge, and important characters from the Dark-Hunter series have large roles even in the Dream Hunter books. Plus, how cool is it, that a “god” can connect with you in your dreams, and fall in love? Takes the saying “man of your dreams” to a whole new level π
I’m not well versed in books about Greek Gods, but maybe someone else can steer us both in the right direction? Sherrilyn introduced me to these fascinating beings, and I’d love to read more.
oh and one more question, i promise, aside from the sherrilyn kenyon books, im really into mythology and reading about the greek gods, I think thats why i loved acheron’s book the most. So cutting to the chase what series would you recommend that would satisfy my need for Greek Gods and Goddesses ?
P.C. Cast has a series of books that connect with Greek Gods and mythology. Goddess Summoning Series, and I liked the Divine Series also, based on Celtic Mythology.
Hope you enjoy them.
Thank you for posting this.My books were in a mess because I just recently moved for college and my reading order got messed up; And kenyons list dosn’t include the anthologys. Also helps me because my bf is interested in the serires but hes going to school in the UK and can’t seem to find them now I can finally start sending them to him in the correct order. ^^ we are both OCD when it comes to reading. even if you don’t have to read them in order. Thank you again so much.
Hi Isis! I get it…I have too many books and a case of OCD for reading orders too (as you can see π )
Hi Everyone. I just have to say the I have read all the Dark Hunter and Dream Hunters series and loved them all. I,like some of the other readers, like the Greek God books as well. I have read the Divine Series and found them to be very good also. The Infinity: Chronicles of Nick was great. I liked how it took you back to when Nick was a young teenager. I can’t wait until Invincible comes out. I thought I seen on amazon that No Mercy was due out in September 2010? But look foward to reading that also. I hope that Sherrilyn Kenyon continues to awe us with more Dark Hunter and Dream Hunter books. I love the way that I can get lost in her book and feel like I know the characters in them. You feel like you are right there because of the way she describes every detail. Keep up the great job your doing Sherrilyn!!
The link to the free ebook “Fear the Darkness” gives me an error. Is there another way to get to this?
I have used your listed to read all the books in order (down to the last three) and have really appreciated it. Thanks for your time/effort on this.
Hi Bette! Thanks for pointing that out. I fixed it. Just click on the link, and when you get to her page, scroll down to the bottom of it and you’ll see she’s giving away two free stories. Click the button to sign up to receive them.
Hi I was wondering if you recommend this highly as I have weened myself from Twlight and J.R Ward and then Gena Showalter.
Absolutely YES!!! I LOVE this series, and there are so many books already in it and the author is also continuing it so there is plenty to look forward to.
I have so many favorites in the series and I’m already thinking about re-reading some of them.
π Lucky you!! You get to experience it for the first time!
Great site! Will visit often.
I received Bad Moon Rising from a friend along with a bunch of other books. I was hooked on the dark hunters after that. Within 3 weeks I have read all the books. These were the first books from Sherrilyn Kenyon that I have ever read and I can’t wait to read more. Fabulous books!!!
Oh I LOVE this series SO much!! My favorites Are Talon’s book, Vane’s book and of course Acheron’s. But thinking back…I love them all.
You’re the only list i find that includes where to read the dream hunters at, this list made the series EVEN MORE enjoyable
Thank you Trin!! When I first started reading these books I was always searching for what came next in a series, and started making these lists for myself, but I’m happy to share them π
Hey!
For Greek Gods and Goddesses Gena Showalter’s the Dark Lords is an excellent series! Also, L. A Banks writes a very good series, A Vampire Huntress Legend series and it’s extremely entertaining and thourough and also has a plethora of gods and godesses.
If you haven’t read it, J. R Ward’s Black Dagger Brotherhood is extremely satisfying (no gods/goddesses).
Thank you for the list! It was killing me not being able to figure out the order! I have something like a mini library in my room and I loan books to my sister and friends so not knowing what books come first (or even how many books in the series) is sort of a bad thing, π
So thanks!~
Hi π Maryse, I just ordered “Midight Pleasures” and “Stroke of Midnight”……where do they fit into the reading order in The Dark-Hunter?? Thanks, I would appreciate it, if you would let me know….Shar
Hey Shar! The anthologies are read in this order:
Night Embrace (Dark-Hunter, Book 3)
——->>>Phantom Lover as found in MIDNIGHT PLEASURES anthology
Dance with the Devil (Dark-Hunter, Book 4)
Kiss of the Night (Dark-Hunter, Book 5)
Night Play (Dark-Hunter, Book 6)
——->>>Winter Born as found in the STROKE OF MIDNIGHT anthology
Seize the Night (Dark-Hunter, Book 7)
Hope that helps!! π
Love, love, love the Dark-hunter series! Thanks so much for the reading order, the “Sherrilyn Kenyon” section of my shelf has been messed up for so long. Just a quick question, do you know if she’d writing any more Dream-Hunter novels? It’s been a while since the last one came out and it kind of ended in a cliff-hanger.
OMG!!! LOVED THIS SERIES OF BOOKS BY SHERRYLON KENYON, I BOUGHT THE WHOLE SERIES, AND NOW AM ABOUT TO FINISH ACHERON, THEN ONLY LIKE 4 BOOKS LEFT!! IM GOING TO BE SO SAD WHEN ITS OVER. I NOW NEED A WHOLE NEW SERIES TO READ. SOMETHING ALONG THE SAME LINES AS THE SERIES IM ABOUT TO FINISH. PLEASE PLEASE RECOMMEND A FEW SERIES OF BOOKS, SO THAT I CAN BUY THEM AT ONCE , AND GET LOST IN ANOTHER SERIES. THANKYOU
i scrolled all the way down to the bottom of your page and didnt see the link for the free books from sherrilyn kenyon.
Hi Mitzy! You have to scroll down the bottom of her page (not this one). Click on my link that says “(free e-book!)”, and it will send you to her “free stuff” page.
Once you’re on her page, scroll down to the bottom of it (right now her “free books” button is on the bottom left) – big picture/button – you can’t miss it.
Hope this helps!
Hi, Just wanted to say thank you for the liste, for some reason Sherrilyn’s website is buggy for me atm. Who knows maybe its just my web browser =/. Well anyways thank you. π
Hi Dawna! Glad to help π
I have used this guide to read the entire series. Thank you so much!
Where does “A Dark-Hunter Christmas” and “Blood Lite” belong in the list? I’ve read just about everything but “No Mercy” and “Redemption” thus far but I want to re-read them down the road but in order this time to see what I missed the first time around…
Hey Kelly!! You rock! Thank’s for pointing that out. I’ve added them into the reading order guide in what I believe to be, the proper positions (with a little help from Sherrilyn’s site & Amazon).
i really wish i had this entire series. she is an exquisite writter and she is my favorite author. i have most of the books but im missing a few. π
WHAT PAGE IS DARK-HUNTER CHRISTMAS ON IN THE DK COMPANION??? I CANNOT FIND IT IN THERE AND I HATE READING ON THE COMPUTER??? THANK U FOR THIS SITE
ALSO I DONT SEE REDEMPTION IN YOUR LIST. WHERE IS IT, AND WHAT CAN IT BE READ IN??
Hi Jan!
Redemption is at the bottom of this list, as it hasn’t come out yet (it will only be available to read as of next year). Not sure what page Dark-Hunter Christmas is on, maybe someone else knows?
I’ll try to find out in the meantime…
π
Has anyone found out what page the “Dark-Hunter Christmas” is on in the Dark Companion?
Thanks,
April
thank you for posting the oder its much easier this way the new website sherrilyn has is confusing to me this helps so much thanks again
π My pleasure!! There are so many “spin-offs” in her main series, that are extremely relevant to the advancement of the main saga, so I felt a need to organize the list.
Thanks so much for the list!! Where does The Promise short story fall in this order (it is in An Insider’s Guide)? I am trying to read them all in order… I am at Sins of the Night:)
Thanks again!
Thanks for a complete reading order. really helps. I love all her books and i am almost caught up…i think!
can anyone tell me where the dark hunter vol 1-3 goes in this series at its the cartoon version on the front of the book and on her website it says they about Talon and Kyrian. I havent gotten them yet but wasnt sure where they fit into the series reading order……these look alot like blood lite on the covers too. Thanks for the help, patiently waiting for a response.
I have two list for the Dark-Hunter series and both are different from what you have posted here. So i just want to make sure your list is the correct one before i move on to the next book. and do i also read the books that are not highlighted.
I hope you can set me on the right path……. because i am really really enjoying this series.
Hi Tina!
Yes i’ve read the entire series, and this is the correct list if you want ALL the books (and not just the Dark-Hunter) books. She has “Were-Hunter” and Dream-Hunter books, plus short stories and also Nick’s story (as a teen) that melds into the series. If you want to read it exactly as each story was written, and the entire story unfolds, this would be the list.
thank you so much for helping me.
Thank you so much for this website. I was very happy to find it. The reading list is so important to those of us playing catch up and having the to be released dates and titles is over the top awesome!
Thank you again,
Dianna
THANK YOU FOR THE LIST. IT IS NOT EASY TO KEEP UP WITH THE ANTHOLOGIES AND WHERE THEY BELONG IN THE READING ORDER
It’s fun when you can follow every single thing that happens in a series, every step of the way. Makes it even more addictive!
this really helps me. i just started to read your novels but actually, their order makes me dizzy. haha so this really helps. and BTW. i really really like your novels. π
Ijust wanted to say how much i enjoy the hunter series. i have read and reread your books a thousand times. I want all the series but so far i havent got any i use the library lol. your an amazing writer and i hope you come out with more stories like the dark hunter ones. one of your biggest fans melissa
From what I’ve gathered from Google searches, the four Dark Hunter mangas are adaptations of Night Pleasures and Night Embrace. Got addicted to this series from the manga, thinking about picking up the books as well. π
Did I miss Dimitri and Skylars story, what is the title. Thanks
Hi Christi! I think you are referring to Christine Feehan’s “Dark” series:
You can view it here: https://www.maryse.net/reading-order-guide/christine-feehan-dark-series-the-carpathians-reading-order-guide.html
This is a different series from another author called the “Dark Hunter” series.
I have a question about the reading order; I am looking for the most straight to the point reading list for the entire Dark/Dream/Were Hunters. I don’t need to know about the collections and that keeps tripping me up on Sherrilyn’s home page. I have heard that it really doesnt matter what order you read them in, but I like to stick with the orders in which they are “meant” to be read.
Please help, Thank you,
Sara K
On a side note:
Do the Dragon Swan and Fear the Darkness books have anything to do with the Dark/Dream/Were Hunter characters?
Sara… I’ve read the entire series. This is THE list. If you want every moment the author has written in that world, in the correct order, with all of it’s characters – this is the list. Sometimes, she’ll introduce some dark-hunters in a dream-hunter book and sometimes the were-hunters and the dark-hunters work together. I mean, even Fantasy Lover which is not considered an official Dark Hunter book, IS part of the series, because it introduces us to the “Greek Gods” and to one specific hero that becomes a part of the Dark-Hunters in his own way in future books. Introduces us to some future characters too.
I hope this helps!
You are my hero!! Thank you thank you thank you!! I’m obbessed with these books and I have need to know everything. but had no idea when to read the short stories. the list on Kenyon site confuses me. there is just so much but her books are amazing i only wish i could read them faster but i have to mix in other books so i dont burn out on them….. π
I can’t get enough of these books!!! Thankfully my husband got me a Kindle last Christmas so I don’t have to carry the physical books around with me. I take my Kindle EVERYWHERE I GO!!!!! I’m lucky it fits in my purse. I get a minute…I’m reading.
I tried to sign up for the free ebook and it keeps telling me I am not old enough!! HA!!! It’d been over 30 YEARS since I needed to be carded, and THAT was for alcohol!!! What’s wrong?
Tari! Is the free e-book,that you are referring to, on the Sherrilyn Kenyon website? You might want to email her contact page to let them know, in case this is something they can fix.
After reading most of the books and trying to put them in order in my mind without any direction; THANK YOU. The dark-hunters (with a dash) always all have loop-holes…which gets confusing when they bring in new heroes and goddesses of whatever their needs confusing the reader. Reading these to fulfill the time between BDB & Fallen Angels. Thanks again for the order to the chaos.
I love how you have everything properly listed. Thank you for taking the time to do so. I never got into the dream_Hunter series but I do enjoy the Dark_Hunter series there is just something compelling about those Dark_Hunters.
Thank you again for keeping your lists up to date.
I do so enjoy your site!
To read this series, do i follow the list EXACTLY? like reading the dark hunter until til book 10, then read dream hunter one and follow on? adding in the anthologies aswell as they appear in the list?
Hi Sarah! To enjoy it in it’s full context, yes.
Hi! I was just wondering where the short story “The Promise” fits in with THE list? I couldn’t find it. Thanks!
Thank you SO much for doing this! I had to stop most of my FUN reading while I was in college and then grad school and am WAY behind but it’s been so long, lol, that I need to start at the beginning.
Question, though, where do the Were-Hunter books fit in? I’m confused.
Well I have been strolling through your lists and reading a series at a time. I really love having an author that I can follow through several to many books.
I have to say that I am in the middle of Sherrilyn’s series and have fallen more for the were hunters than the Dark hunters. So much of the I know I shouldn’t have anything to so with you because I am “bad” but I just can’t stop myself. Vane was my first along these lines and now I am in the middle of Wren’s storie. Frustrating in the fact that I didn’t get it finished this weekend and now have to wait for Tuesday evening to finish.
Thanks again for all of the recommondations.
I have read all the Dark hunter and were hunter books, the last few keep referring to Acheron’s wife, but I can’t seem to find the book where he found her, is there a book out on it and if so what is the title?
He finds her in HIS book. “Acheron”
– hope this helps!! π
I love this series I just finished No Mercy i loved this booked.
I can’t get enough!!! Keep writing.
LOE LOVE LOVE this series!!! The links to A Dark Hunter Christmas and Winter Born don’t work π
Beautiful website! Thank you for the help!
Thanks to my lovely friend, Chantal, I have my first Dark Hunters book. This list couldn’t be more timely. Thank you!
Bella!! What a wonderful friend you have. The series is wonderful, and really ramps up towards Acheron’s book. LOVE it. So glad I could help π
Can you read the chronicles of nick without reading the rest of the series or are they too interlinked?
Hi LeeAnna!
Good question!
Because the Chronicles of Nick books are YA, and marketed to teens, NOβ¦ you do NOT need to read the Dark Hunter series to understand whatβs going on with Nick as a teen.
The Dark Hunter series is fun, exciting and full of action and danger BUT it is specifically for an adult market, and focuses on romance.
Those who have read the Dark Hunters already would benefit to read the Chronicles of Nick as it expands the story theyβve been following, but the Chronicles of Nick stands on itβs own, as a series, so no need to backtrack.
Hey you don’t have sherrilyn Kenyon’s dark hunter guide book listed it carries a lot of the short stories pictures and videos it’s available on amazon and can be played on the kindle fire I think nook color and the kindle for phone
Hi Amanda! Yup it’s there, just at the bottom of the list…
THIS IS SOOOOOOO CONFUSING!!! Makes me not even want to read this series – are y’all SURE this series(or seriesssss) are REALLY worth it? So help me out here, am I trying to read them in the order they are listed (brown mostly), the order given in ( ) (blue & other colors) or what? all the series inter mesh in the list & the books per each series is not in order to that series. Seems like a lot of trouble for this series when there are other authors that make their series SO easy to follow- what ever happened to the simple “old school” numbering system1, 2, 3, 4…… etc???!!!
Glad for the site or I would not even attempt this series
I was wondering if anyone found Jess n Abbys story lacking – compared to every other book, this one seemed rushed. i feel bad being critical because she’s such a wonderful writer…i just wish these characters had more time spent on them. after waiting so long for the book and now the next in september, i sure hope she redeems herself with better characters n storyline.
Quick question, I find in this series I tend to like certain characters. My favorite were Vane, Fang and Fury. As all her books are fantastic I felt that Fang’s book was lacking in comparison to Vane’s which was a page turner from the first page. I was wondering if there was a book done on in the works for Fury?
Hi maryse just wanted to say your reading order list was a big help, i have only just stumbled onto these amazing books, I no im way behind hehe, but if it wasnt for you i would be reading them in the wrong order, thank you π x
Thank you so much for the reading list – I had to keep coming back for reference so I knew what was next. I got through this series in a little under a month and have been missing the DH world ever since! Love your site, I’m about to start on Frost’s series….hoping to get lost in paranormal all over again π
Does any one where I can find “The Beginning”. I see other sites mention this title as a part of the reading order for the Sherrilyn Kenyon Dark Hunter Series but it is no where to be found. Please help. Also love you site and it has been the most beneficial by far. Thank you.
Hi Shay!
“The Beginning” is only found in Acheron’s book (which is much further down the list).
Here is what I found on Goodreads:
“*Please Note: This story in it’s entirety is in the current novel “Acheron” (#15) in the Dark Hunter series.*
This is a short story written years ago by Sherri as an intro to the Dark-Hunter world. The story is found in it’s entirety in the current novel “Acheron”.
The Beginning was originally published as a short story in a small press magazine called The Voice in 1990.”
If you’re reading in Kindle format, ‘The Beginning’ is included at the end of ‘Sins of the Night’, Alexion and Danger’s book – it actually has a note at the start suggesting that you skip to the end and read the short story first as it gives a lot of context for their book. I don’t know if the paperback has the same format or not.
Thanks for the list, Maryse! I’m currently working my way through in order and have just finished ‘Devil May Cry’ earlier today.
How did you like it, Louise? Any favorite books yet?
Ooh, good question! π I think it probably varies depending on when you ask me, to be honest. I’ve enjoyed the were-hunter books, especially Vane and Wren, but I also have a soft spot for the ‘Devils’, Zarek and Sin.
I love this list have stuck to it religiously!! Getting to the end of the list now and I want more books to magically appear so I don’t have to stop reading π xx
I am interested to hear people’s thoughts on Time Untime….I didn’t love it like I have loved the others, but then, I didn’t love Sundown’s book either so maybe just that story line didn’t work for me? No spoilers, but there is interesting interaction between Nick and Acheron that has left me wondering…..
Oh my, so many books… It kind of confuses me HaHa.
Hi Maryse:
Just a quick note that the link you have for A Dark Hunter Christmas must have changed… Here’s the new link :0)
https://www.sherrilynkenyon.com/book/dark-hunter-christmas/
Still have to click on read excerpt…
I’ve just started reading the dark hunter series. Are you suggesting that we read the Dream Hunter series at the same time in the order you’ve listed? I can’t get enough of the paranormal and I just love your blog and enthusiam for such good reads!!! Thanks!
I just love your books, The Darker Hunter, hope you keep writing them, the only problem I have is founding them..Brenda
hi Maryse,
I am just starting these books but i have almost read all of Acheronβs story and just finding out that i am reading out of order π but can you tell me is it worth going back and starting the series from the first book are have i messed it up reading this book first???? please help im so confused
she has a new novella out called the beginning…you can guess where it goes
since i picked up the first book of yours acheron i’ve been hooked. love your books
Hi
I’ve read all the books, the last one was ” Time Untime”, is there one after that?
Thank you so much for the list. I have read them all out of order now I’m going back reading them in order. I have to say anybody who enjoys this series should totally read The Black Dagger Brotherhood by J.R Ward. They are amazing! Is the book with all the short stories out yet?
So I just found this series in manga form, is this a rewrite in a manga or is more of the story? I think my wife would enjoy the story so I’m trying to figure out where the manga and novels fit together.
Thanks so much for this list! My friends have recently got me into this series and I’m so obsessed with with! I’m devouring each book! (currently on sins of the night!) This list is really helpful! The short stores are hard to find, so I’m probably going to pick up Dark Bites when it’s released.
Really appreciate the list; it helped me keep things straight! There is one short story you are missing called The Beginning by her.
Started the series a couple of weeks ago an I just finished Devil May Cry. I can’t seem to put them down! Many sleepless nights.
Thank you for this list. I have just caught up on all the books. I didn’t even know about the anthologies, they help add to the characters. Reading them in order has definitely helped! π
Thanks for making this list! Do you know exactly how many books are going to be in the Chronicles of Nick series? or is it just the four that are announced?
I read Invincible without reading any of the other books… I was rather confused but it was really good! Now that I know it’s more of a companion series I have this whole list to read! π
I recently bought the first four books in the Chronicles of Nick and was wondering if I had to read the beginning books of the Dark Hunter series to fully understand what is happening.
thanks a trillion I have read several of the novellas but I’ve been stumped as to where they fit.
Where does the novella the promise fit in our am I just missing it on the list?
Omg Sherrilyn Lenyon is by far one of my favorite authors! I love this whole series especially Zareks book (I’m live in Fairbanks) and Vane’s book because it was the book that got me hooked. After I read his, I read the rest in order because that’s the way I do things and I just can’t enough! Reading them all again in anticipation for Styxx in September!! I can’t wait!!
Maryse,
I want to thank you for these list that you have painstakingly put together. Thanks to you I was able to reorganize my bookshelf so they are all in order and find the books I was missing. You are just awesome!!!! Between my Kenyon and my Feehan books my shelf was a mess. You are so great in the willingness to do this. Props.!!!!
Mandy
I am in the process of.reading this entire series, and I AM ADDICTED! Sherrilyn.Kenyon creates a world that is incredibly amazing! Ive only read up to “The Dream Hunter”, which I.am currently reading, and I cannot wait to see what happens next with all of the characters (especially Ash, poor guy)! Thanks for posting them! Wonderful Read!
Ok, so I’ve read through the list, and comments and am wondering where the Companion book itself would fall in the list, since it’s not got ALL the secrets in it that later books reveal. Any ideas on that? π Also, thanks for the list – I use this list all the time!
Just finished reading Styxx what a sad book but so very good really going to have withdrawals to wait for the next book in the seris keep on writting read all your books
I just finished -The Guardian
This is my first SK book Loved;loved;loved-what is book 1 what is book3 of this series? I don’t understand how the series works.
Help…
Hi Dina. The stories are listed in the reading order, above. π
Just finished reading Styxx; read Acheron in August. Loved both and now want to start at the beginning. Thank you so much the last book I read that was that thick was Gone with the Wind and the two books I have read rate up their with it.
I would just like to point this out as a male. I would not be caught dead reading a romancey/hot and heavy female book normally. Kenyon has taken these books from being just that to making it such an incredible book for a male like me to read that I was actually waiting for bum bum bummmmmmm the sex scenes, lol. I would pick up one of the books and read it then try to guess about when in the book the “action” would happen. I honestly didn’t even know this was a love/romance series when I first bought the first book because it wasn’t in the romance section of the store at the time, it was in the gods/demons/vampires type section. Since purchasing the first book when it came out I have probably re-read the series every time a new book has come out just to be freshly up to date on everything that has happened. I have recommended this series to male friends and several have read the books, and thanked me for it even though it was a “chick” book. I also had a list made for this series, but once looking at yours I switched a couple of the smaller stories around and made it work alot smoother. So I would just like to thank you for your more accurate list.
what story is in the my big fat supernatural wedding anthology?this book has been eluding me for years and not sure if there is anywhere else i might the story in this book.
Amazing! Are these books stand alones?
Right now, I’m reading Pretty Instinct by S.E. Hall. It’s amazing! I love reading about the heroine and her brother. She is so selfless. The hero is to die for! He’s definitely an alpha but more on the softer side. He cries when the heroine passes out, he was so scared! Ahh, I love him and I’m only halfway through the book.
*blinks* Wow. Just wow. I gotta get this. I’ve read every one, (most more than twice :-P) but to just have them all in one spot? That’s awesome.
Hi can someone please let me know what the order of books are without all the short stories. I am so confused. Please help me. The books look amazing, but I cant for the life of me understand. Thank u and sorry if its a silly question.
Rebecca.
Hi. Wonderful job, fantastic site. I’ve read nearly all of these books, some more than twice. So needless to say I’m a reallly big fan. I’m looking for a reading list for this series that puts the books in order of how the story or stories flow, not the sequence in how they were written. I’m sorry if someone else has already asked this question, but I’d really like an answer. For e.g. on this list the book Dream Hunter is read long after the story of Kyrian Hunter. However in Dream Hunter we visit Kyrian who is still a Dark Hunter, although we know that he is released at the end of his book (Night Pleasures). I would be deeply grateful if you could offer me some guidance and/or assistance. Thank you.
Hey Denise you have to take into account that Dream Hunter is actually about 12 years in the past actually. You’ll notice this fact by Tori in Dream Hunter is about 14 and Tori in Acheron is in her 20’s. The reason alot of us put them in this order it to chronologically explain Tori’s appearance in the series, rather than Arik and Geary’s.
Thank you Dan!! Excellent explanation. π
Dragonmark is on its way!!!!! August 2, 2016 woo hoo!!!
Why can’t I print this list? Every time I try, all I get is the comments!
I think the Lords of Avalon books should also be added to this list as they also tie into the Dark-Hunter series
Can we get a more updated list?
Hi Jordan! I just did it. π
odd thing.. I think im missing something First book didn’t they lock Eros in the book? Now im on Talons story. and hes free. What happened? what did I miss? did I skip something?
No they locked his brother Priapus in the book, Priapus was one who actually cursed Julian.
Ooohh Okay. I was confused. I couldn’t remember. On the website it said Eros is Julians worst enemy. so its why I thought. I just couldn’t remember
Iβm just starting the novels and I will incorporate the chronicle of nick as youβve outline. Thanks!! But where do the league novels fit (i.e. born of fury, first and second generation) in? Should I read the dark hunter and the chronicles of nick first then read the league novels??? Or can you recommend another reading order? Help please
Completely separate series of books. No mention of any of the Dark Hunter Characters as well as the fact all The League books take place in space.
Wow what you have put together with all the book order is amazingly superb. I can tell reading is ur passion. For years I have read so many woman authors who always send a shot out to you and I can see why. Thank you for your time effort and passion and most of all passing on your opinion and reading orders. I read every series according to the date release but your information has substantially helped although I wish I found your site at least ten years ago. U go girl!!
hello!
i do wish that there were this as an entrance on goodreads.

do you consider that Deadman’s Cross should be included here?
