<—- I read this one!! Good, sweet contemporary romance story with some extra-funny scenes in the beginning that really had me giggling, and… OMG HE is a sexy cop!!! And her brother (also the cops best friend), an MMA fighter that’s extra protective. Fun times! I liked it! I didn’t necessarily go all-out crazy for it, but it was a good lazy afternoon read.
BUT!!!!!! I hear that book #2 (that was JUST released), is SOOOOO romantically angsty… at least at one point. Some of our fellow readers were sobbing, and say it was so much better than the first! YAY ME!!!! Just look at what our fellow readers are saying:

Patty: I also read Agains the Cage by Sidney Halston. It was so good. Maryse– you must read this one! A few people were talking about it here a couple of posts ago. I am not sure why they said it was a rom com. The 1st chapter was hilarious but the rest of the book was funny but not a rom com. I LOVED It.LOVE LOVE LOVE. I think it’s my fave book of the year. I am not a big MMA fan because all MMA books have these douchy alpha males that are normally like 18 years old. Jack was totally alpha guy but so sweet! And it was way steamy! WOO HOO. Recommend it (but not as a Rom Com).
Kelly: Has anyone read a book called Against the Cage. It’s by an author I’d never heard ofSidney Halston. I got a copy from publisher and let me just say…WOW. I am in love with Jack. *Swoon*. The book was so funny (especially the beginning) but more than that had some nail biting moments and most of all…had some awesome smexy scenes. And, since I am totally into MMA right now, it was right up my ally. I love that it was adult and not YA/NA. God, I am having a boyfriend hangover right now. : ( No one I know has heard about it. How is this even possible???
Georgina: I got Against the Cage which was on sale. It was alright. Super funny, super cute, but not super angst. I recommend it for a fun light read. BUT then I picked up… The 2nd one, Full Contact that isn’t out yet. AND– HOLY CRAP. That chick (author) picked up a few pointers along the way. It was so good. Sidney has a new fan with me. It was awesome. The BEST break up scene I’ve ever read. Seriously– it paralleled Travis/Abby. I cried. Literally on the floor ugly cried. I don’t even know why I picked it up since I didn’t love the 1st one, but I’m so glad I did.
Anna: Just book binged on Full Contact. Loved it more than the 1st of series. There was a heart breaking moment among the LOL moments which killed me. Highly recommend it ladies! Now on to unbroken. More fighters for me please…

Sidney knows how to write a jaw-dropping sexy hero and a smexy scene that makes you want to break out the personalized fan. And her heroines are no damsels in distress. They give as good as they get. There aren’t many authors that I can say that I laughed, cried and fanned myself on the same page and that’s exactly what happened with Full Contact. I can’t wait for the next in the series and did ya’ll here that there’s going to be another three books? SIX totally hot Worth the Fight heroes!!!!! I can’t wait!!!

I cried like a baby in Full Contact. But overall it was light and fluffy but soo damn sexy. I really recommend it if you want not too much angst. Just the right amount
I loved Sidney Halston’s second book Full Contact. It was funny, made me laugh out loud, made me worry, drew me in and it was sexy too!! I loved the first book too which was Against the cage. The writing is amazing. You feel like you are meeting the charachters, living with them and it was so good. The charachters are funny, hot, the town it takes place in you want to be at. I just read that there will be more books to come and I can’t wait since the supporting charachters were so well done. If you haven’t read these and have a few hours because you won’t want to stop reading once you start, I suggest buying these and getting lost in a great sexy hot story!!!
