Can I just say, that I love my blog? Because of this blog, I’ve found an outlet to express my excitement (or my melancholy) over books that I can’t stop thinking about. The blog has helped me organize my own book collection, my wishlists, and series reading order guides (so I don’t get confused halfway through a very important series). But, the best part of it, is that it allows me to connect with you guys! Other enthusiastic readers that have sent me their own reading suggestions, that have swooned over heroes and shamelessly squee’d over a book with me.
And then… sometimes, I actually get to meet some of you.
Last week I had such an opportunity. We indulged in a wonderful (LONG) lunch and shared different foods, family stories, talked books, and reminisced over a few very interesting book discussions and past “He’s MINE” Facebook bicker-fests. Lily and Jackie seem to always be after the same heroes (V and Barrons being the main two), and there have been some pretty vivid verbal battles. Always in good fun (at least… I think it’s in good fun) ;). Hey, as long as they stay off my book-men, I’m glad to sit back and watch. Although I’m sure that will change when I finally meet Sherry. She’s my “hero” archnemesis (although I adore her to death, otherwise) 😉
So here we are. We took some pictures to help make our memories last a lifetime, and I thought I’d share some with you. Until the next time we meet (hoping it’s at the next Karen Marie Moning “Fevercon”), I just want to say, I had a blast, and I miss you guys already!

Her blog is awesome and it has helped a whole lot with the reading order guides. I loved meeting up with you guys! I can’t wait for next time!
I have to agree. I have this ritual every morning, before I start with my day – even before I have my coffee – I check your blog to see whats new. Actually I do this 4 times a day. I’m from South Africa and I think time wise we are 8 – 10 hours ahead of you and I am so scared that I will miss out on anything.
Around here no one reads paranormal books so I have absolutely nobody to share all the books I’m reading with. People look at me funny when I get all excited about a book or a book crush and I’m afraid pretty soon they will send the guys in white jackets to come lock me up.
It was a happy day for me when I discovered your blog and realised I am definitely not the only person out there who gets so thrilled about all the books. Also through your blog I stumbled upon Lily’s Blog which has entertained me for the last year.
So THANK YOU for doing what you do! I would have send you a gift basket or something, but I am pretty sure it will cost me about a month’s salary. So pretend this is a basket with a new Samsung Galaxy and an Amazon Voucher…
We enjoy your blog too!! Its nice to know there are other people out there that have just as twisted(I mean that in the best possible way of course!!)
taste in reading as I do 🙂
awwwww you guyssssss!!! I *heart* you all so much, and you make my day!!! I love being able to share my absolute favorite hobby with you all. And Lezanda… I want to thank you for your wonderful “virtual” gifts 😉 *hug*
