My Favorite Mistake
I’m totally giving this one a go. Just released like … what? Yesterday? And I’ve had three of our fellow-reader-crew mention it to me, and I know why they have brought it to my attention. Bad boy guitar playing college roommate!!! Yes please!! Coed dorms? Well… I never!
Kim: … just bought a new book called My Favorite Mistake by Chelsea M Cameron on Amazon … two college roommates that start out not liking each other but heres the best part he is a GUITAR PLAYING BAD BOY HOTTIE whohoooooo!
Pamela: I’ve been waiting for this since I read the first chapter on Good Reads. My Favorite Mistake by Chelsea Cameron
Christina: OMG I FOUND ANOTHER ONE!! My Favorite Mistake – Chelsea Cameron… Ok, let me send you the summary <insert summary here>
Maryse: OH MINE!!!!!!
Yep!! You knew that was my reaction. I may have never experienced coed dorms, but I’m totally in for that kind of fiction fun potential and while I have a few that I feel will likely be “must reads” in my current TBR list… well… there was a hiccup named “Hunter” in it, and so… you know how it goes. My TBR shifted.
Now I’m not saying this is going to rock our worlds or anything. Not yet anyway, because i’m only into the first few chapters, but I AM going to say… so far, so good! I’m in the mood for something like this. Okay yes… I know. When have I ever not been? I know. Heh! But I am exceptionally in the mood for it tonight after that devastatingly deep and beautifully awesome read I just came off of (The Sea of Tranquility) and THIS one has been presented to me. I think that’s a sign! *crosses fingers* (P.S. my review of The Sea of Tranquility to be posted tomorrow)
I just bought this today. Reading Sempre right now, then I will read about Mr. Hunter tomorrow (night). Looks yummy.
Oohhh this looks goods. Can’t wait to hear your thoughts!
That it does, Candice. That. It. Does. 😉
You bet Annie!! Sea of Tranquility tomorrow, and this one will be a nice into to this upcoming week!
I just finished reading The Sea of Tranquility. I absolutely loved it! I am getting ready to read My Favorite Mistake.
I got this one earlier today. Definitely reading this next..
Started this one after finishing up On Dublin Street and Down to You. It’s been a yummy weekend so far
I absolutely love this blog! I have been following your updates for a while and want to say a massive thankyou! I love your recommendations and reviews! Reading can be a lonely hobby but your blog has changed that and it’s brilliant. 🙂 I have never left a comment before but l have to! I read up to 6% of this book and loved it I was finally connecting with the main character feisty Taylor UNTIL my kindle BROKE! Arghhhhhhhh I will be buying a new one tomorrow but so frustrated right now was ready for a whole night of a good angsty read!!! Please tell me this book is worth me rushing out tomorrow to get a new kindle (I need an excuse to spend the money) haha
LOL Sylvie! I’m actually not that far in yet, so I can’t say for sure. I conked out too early last night, and will pick it back up in about an hour or so. So far, I’m enjoying but not wooohooo’ing yet. Again, it’s early in my read, so I will certainly keep you guys in the loop. 🙂
First, let me say that your blog is fab! We are so book sisters! haha Anyway, I finished, no, devoured this book in hours! For me, it gave me a little of the Beautiful Disaster feel..A little bad, a little sweet and oh so entertaining! What I loved most about this story was Taylor. She was strong, wise and a bada$$!!! I loved her and she reminded me so much of Abby in that way…ugh I loved this book. Still doesn’t bump BD from my number 1 but this is a story I will keep thinking about!
Maryse u are killing me but in a good way, lol, i check your site everyday and everyday i’m buying another book ,, just finished this one, loved it,,had alot of that BD feel,
Love, love, love your blog. I couldn’t stop reading this book. I needed to know what the deal was with Taylor and Hunter. I absolutely love it. My next one is Sea of Tranquility.
I’m in the middle of this one, too, but it’s not pulling me in yet. Hopefully soon. Maybe if I could get my brain to stop comparing it to Beautiful Disaster?
What would you suggest reading after this book??
Hi Shana! Here is another college-aged book that I just finished and LOVED (Losing It by Cora Carmack):

Really liked this book. I really like Hunter’s character. I found myself smiling often throughout this. The beginning is slow, but I was still pulled in. He’s not my Kellan or Travis, but he’s up there!
I really liked this one. I didnt really think of Hunter as a “bad boy” but i loved him from the beginning. I loved the way Hunter and Missy/Taylor interacted with each other. I agree with Ashley about not being Kellan or Travis but Hunter is pretty special!
