Okay, so I’m doing something different here. I’ve taken a picture of my current TBR (to be read) list (plus 3 ARCS not pictured).
Now you guys know me… I’m BIG on changing my mind depending on my reading mood, so this is not necessarily accurate, or in the right order (and is totally subject to change). BUT as of right now, these are the books that are taunting me the most (those, and about 20 others not pictured *sigh* – for example… a few rock star books, an urban fantasy series or two… you get the picture 😉 ). Oh well. Reading rocks!!! Let’s see what I can read out of this lot.
Here they are in a clearer order, below. Pretty random, right? Some of these have been on my TBR list for months now, and STILL I want to read them so bad and STILL… I haven’t. When it comes to my reading moods, I’m a mess. Goes to show you, just ’cause I haven’t read it yet, doesn’t mean I’m not dying to. 😀

What I have read and LOVED: <3<3
Find You in the Dark by A. Meredith Walters
The Coincidence of Callie and Kayden by Jessica Sorensen
The Education of Sebastian (The Education of…) by Jane Harvey-Berrick
What I want to read: 🙂
When We Collide by A.L. Jackson
Arouse: A Spiral of Bliss Novel by Nina Lane
White Walls (The Asylum Trilogy) by Lauren Hammond
I am surprised your list isn’t longer actually. You are much more organized then me. My list is so long because whenever I see something free or cheap I get it and put it into my TBR. Most of the time I forget what the book is about by the time I get around to it.
Katie I am exactly like you for that. Beneath that list are hundreds more, and about 20 that I wanted up there amongst the ones I decided on for this week. *sigh*
We are in the same boat… 😉
Ohman I’m the same. I’ll have a list of book that I want to get to but because my mood changes I wont get to them like I want to.
Callie & Kayden was great but it does have a major cliffhanger. I would have waited to read them together. I liked when we collide but I felt take this regret was better.
I’ve read those by Lauren Hammond, they were good I’ve been waiting forever for the third book 🙁
I still find it hard to believe that you aren’t interested in reading the Premonition series by Amy Bartol. 🙂
Just finished reading arouse it was amazing. I love that it wasn’t to angsty & that the cliff hanger wasn’t to strong.
before that I read collide which I also liked but i found that the angst was a little to much & the cliff hanger really killed me.
Loved Find You in the Dark and The Coincidence of Callie and Kayden. Great books.
When we collide was amazing!! Also sometimes never -awesome as well!
I’m a huge fan of the racing on the edge series..Jameson is one of my favorites now…and his girl sway is way cool too…
Maryse you haaave to read The Captive series by Erica Stevens, it is Epic, Braith is reminds me of the BDB brothers, so possessive of Aria, even more! He is sooo hot, altho the books are meant for YA its still has some super steamy scenes. The writing is amazing, twilight meets Trueblood! The series keeps getting more amazing specially book 3, more steamy scenes that made me melt!! And some scary scenes made my heart race!
there is a problem with editing though with books 1 and 2, book 1 has already been edited and now its much better, it even has new lines! So i would advise you Update your copy. Book 2 its still being edited.
Braith is my new book boyfriend, i really wish he was real (tears). You wont regret it trust me!
I read Nobody’s Angel, hot scenes, but didn’t like the storyline (maybe just me). However book 3, Nobody’s Hero, much more hotter, makes you smile and cry in one scenes lol
But i highly recommend Captured, its a MUST READ! 🙂 some say its everything Twilight had to be, i read Twilight and loved it 5 years ago but this is much cooler, more storyline than just the two of them, war, love, pain and sacrifice. 🙂
Just finished Coincidence of Callie and Kayden yesterday at 3:30am. Couldn’t put it down because it was so good. Finished Secret of Ella and Micha today. Loved that one, too!
You definitely need to read The Coincidence of Callie and Kayden….huge cliffhanger and I cannot wait for book 2.
WOW!! These books look amazing Maryse. Can’t wait to read your reviews. I’ve read all the Racing on the Edge books and loved them. **Sigh** Jameson **Swoon**.
I’ve also read The “Coincidence of Callie and Kayden” and like Tasha, I can’t wait for the next book. But really enjoyed the it, cliffhanger and all. 🙂
I’m ready to get down and rock star dirty reading the last book in the Groupie series by Ginger Voight, “Mogul”. 😉
You must read the Emi Lost & Found series ASAP! You will not be disappointed and it will change you forever! I think this tops my list of best books/series ever!! 🙂
Oh Boy! Thank you so much for sharing your TBR list but now my list just got bigger!! I have read The Coincidence of Callie and Kayden and loved it! It’s a must read.
Marsye I know you read a lot of different kind of books but just so ya know the LaVryle Spencer romance is a very clean romance book,no sex and if there is any its a fade to black, her books are very clean and half of the are Christin Romance, they are always very sweet and almost always have a hea ending but just so you know there is no steam, sometimes not even a light mist lol
I agree with Audrey! Book 2 was really great… Still haven’t read the 3rd yet though.
So glad to see Find You In The Dark is on your TBR. I loved that book! The sequel will be out soon so you don’t have long to wait.
I love your website and check it daily for new books. i like you have hundreds of books that i want to read, and find myself buying more. thanks to your site! keep up the great work! The coincidence of callie and kayden was a great book. My heart is still hurting from it. can’t wait for the second. just finished find you in the dark and it just like callie and kayden. sobbed like a baby! Will continue to check your site.
Have you read There is No Light in Darkness yet? I just finished it and LOVED it. It’s steamy, mysterious and really tugs at your heart. It has a cliffhanger but the next book comes out soon I think.
Just finished Nobody’s Angel. It was a quick, easy read – erotic, from beginning to end. not the gut wrenching reads we usually agree on and enjoy.
I just got done with Sometimes Never. All I can say is Whooooaaaaa. Such a touchy subject and she had me from the first page. Maryse you are going to LOVE this book I just know it.
I have been following your blog for a little bit now and have read many of your recommendations. I loved the Emi Lost and Found series, especially book 1 and 2. I’ve never read a book that affected me so much…cried my heart out! And I really liked Kallypso Masters Rescue Me series as well. I like how the problems her characters struggle through are really realistic and she is really good at connecting the reader to the thoughts of the characters. Erotic yes… but really, it was less about the sex and more about their emotional struggles. Looking forward to many more of your suggestions!
i read When we Collide, really good i love all A L Jackson’s books, Pulled is the only one i’ve yet to read and starting it this weekend:)
You have to read book 2 of Emi Lost and Found soon. It was sooo good. I loved all three books, but 2 was my favorite.
I just finished Arouse by Nina Lane last night and I loved it. Great writing, believable storyline and while it is part of a series I was ok with the way book one ended. An added bonus was the steamy romance that was well written into the plot. It’s going on my favorites list.
Wow so many awesome comments that will help me decide what’s really next out of this batch!!
*hug* you guys!!!
Awesome list Maryse… definitely adding the ones i didnt read to my TBR list… love you lists!!!
I was looking up When we colllide and came across Lost to you and Take this regret… Is Lost to you the prequel to Take this regret bu A.L Jackson?
Your list looks a lot like mine Maryse. I have about a list with about 300 books on it. I think a lot are thanks to your reviews.
LaVyrle Spencer is a great author. I have read about all her books years ago. When I was in my early 20’s her, Judith McNaught and Catherine Coulter were my favorites.
I know what you are saying about moods and what to read. My book group decided to read man love books for January and now that is all I want to read. Guess reading is a little like growing up we go threw fazes like vampires, weres, rock stars and so on.
I have really enjoyed the Captive series. I need to read the third in the series, but I truly enjoyed the first two! Also, The Coincidence of Callie and Kayden…so great!
My picks for your next books…
Find You in the Dark by A. Meredith Walters
The Coincidence of Callie and Kayden by Jessica Sorensen
The Coincidence of Callie and Kayden was really good!
Catherine, yes it is but I hear it’s better to read it after.
Amy, hey those are good , too!! 😀
Ok off I go to read. YAY!!! I’ll let you know what it is shortly.
Maryse…YOU MUST move the Masters At Arms (Rescue Me series) to the top of your list soon!!! HOT HOT HOT, Ex-Military, Doms!!!!! Seriously, the series is DE-licious!!
Marysee….Years by Lavyrle Spencer is one of my favorite books. Very good writing and romantic. I think you will like it. Sometimes it is nice to read a book of romance without all the explicit scenes. Please give it a try.
If you haven’t read TIGHT KNIT by Allie Brennan check it out
You should post your TBR at least once per month or every other week so we can keep up 🙂
Captured: ugh! Someone compared it to Twilight but I didn’t buy the heroine’s character for one second. I couldn’t finish the book…
