Connie is needing and Uber-angst BREAK and looking for lighthearted reading fun. I have lists for her (and I’ll list them below), but what’s the latest and greatest comedy romance of your heart?
She asks:
After reading books like Verity, Heartbreak Warfare, The Fish Tales Series, etc, a bit of lightness and humor is needed.
Am I recalling correctly that you had a list or blog posting for just that type of book? Where can I find that?
Thanks so much. LOVE YOUR BLOG – all books I read come from your recommendation

And now I’m putting the request to my fellow readers out there. What books would you recommend to ease her book-angst-ridden heart? 😉
Sandi: Down Under by Donna Alam, You Complicate Me: (A snarky contemporary romantic comedy) by Isabel Jordan, Tripping on a Halo by Alessandra Torre, Josh and Hazel’s Guide to Not Dating by Christina Lauren. Mister McHottie: A Billionaire Boss / Brother’s Best Friend / Enemies to Lovers Romantic Comedy by Pippa Grant is free right now
Michele G: The Dating By Numbers series by Meghan Quinn were all really good. I also recommend Let’s Get Textual by Teagan Hunter and Worth It by S.M. Shade & C.M. Owens – both made me laugh out loud as well!
Kelly: LOVED Worth It
Jen C: R.S. Grey is my go to! Without fail! Worth It was so good and recently finished Let’s Get Textual and loved it!
Jan: I just read the new one by Lucy Score, Rock Bottom Girl: A Small Town Romantic Comedy. Also liked her book The Worst Best Man. Both have some OTT funny scenes and lines.
Jean: Oh I know, Girl Crush by Stephie Walls!! So funny! And I’ve been begging everyone to read Mister McHottie for months!
I just read Close by Laurelin Paige and loved it! It was light and fun – I’m definitely going to read it again soon! I’ve listened to Jock Rule by Sara Ney a bunch of times because it keeps making me laugh and it has that feel good quality to it. Also, the Naughty Princess Club Series by Tara Sivec is light and funny.
YAY!! I’m adding it in, Ashley!! 😀
