Obsession does take place in the same world that Katy and Daemon inhabit, Obsession is more mature, definitely targeted toward the older crowd. It’s an adult romance, so you know what that means. Obsession will change what you think you know about the Luxens and Arums.
There will be some crossover with certain characters from the Lux Series. Obsession takes place in-between Opal and the 4th Lux novel, which is called Origin…
Hunter is a true alpha male and is one of my favorite characters I’ve ever written. He’s like Daemon and Seth rolled into one. Totally no holds bars. Hunter is… well, he’s Hunter. You don’t have to read the Lux Series to read Obsession And if you enjoyed Obsidian and Daemon, well, I think you’re going to enjoy Obsession.

Ok …omg this was awesome !! I read it today & spent the whole time yelling out loud at my kindle lol I couldn’t make up my mind if I wanted to stab daemon in the eye with a fork or pash him 🙂 grrrr . Had some douts about this book because it YA but it hooked me within the 1st 10% & just couldn’t put it down ! Freakin fantastic read 😉 thanks 4 the recommend girls 😉 xoxo
You should check out Incarnate by Jodi Meadows. It is YA as well, but I really enjoyed the book. It is quite a bit different than anything I’ve YA book I’ve read and I really think it gives something new to its genre. It’s about a society that has existed for over 5,000 years with the same souls being reincarnated into new bodies with all their memories intact. When Ana is born they are expecting Ciana’s soul, but when they place her hand on the soul-scanner there is no match. Ana is the first new soul in 5,000 years. Her father abandons her mother shortly after her birth. She is raised (if you can call it that) by her mother who loathes her very existence. On her 18th birthday she leaves to head to Heart to find out why she exists. If you liked Obsidian I think you will really like this book as well.
I just finished this book today, all in one sitting. I enjoyed it, obviously, but admit I was disappointed at the many similarities to Twilight. However, I was pleased that it ended how I prefer sequels to end, with the *spoiler*..leaves me impatiently looking forward to book #2.

I saw these books in the shop just wanting something to read on the plane! That was yesterday and I bought the 2 books I could not put it down and I finished both of them in 1 and a half days. I loved it and can’t wait for the next one to come

Argh…ive just spent 2 days straight reading from book 1 to 4! I think my heart broke 🙁 and although therr is the comfort of another book in this saga I’m worried Kat is a goner. Must say I’m a total Dawson fan too since reading his and Beths story he used to be such a happy carefree guy <3 the DOD sucks.
Looking forward to this Hunter fellow, but please let Kat be alive 😀 😀
Wow I read all four books in 2 days I couldn’t put it down, now I’ve seen there’s a fourth book I’m hoping it lets us know about kat and doesn’t go onto a new family of Luxen, I have recommended this book to everyone. 🙂
I love Obsidian! I think I might possibly like Obsidian more than Onyx or Opal. I can’t wait for Origin, though I don’t know when it comes out, do you? This series has to be one of my late favorites though the story line and characters remind me a lot of the Twilight Saga. Even the setup, I won’t spoil it (though I love spoilers) but I find the characters oddly similar. Ash and Rosalie, Dee and Alice, Matthew and Carlisle…I don’t know what to make out of it but I still love the books. I’m not sure how Origin will be without Daemon though. 🙁 He’s my favorite!

I loved it until I read origin, I hate when things start having gray areas, I prefer things black and white, luxen good, daedulus bad, but in origin there were moments when I had to side with the views of the DOD cause it only make sense that they were trying to prepare the human race for an inevitable fall out with the luxen’s. I just got so torn up about who was right and who was wrong, it gave me a sucky feeling. but I enjoyed the first 3 books.
I just downloaded the first 3 books just have to put then on thee readers hopefully will start the first one soon. Since I read in order which should I do first you have obsidian and I saw on authors site or someplace else shadows.
