This is my list ( I love making ’em) of the books I’m reading this year, to help me keep track. I read 76 in 2010. Let’s see if I can beat it!

- Marked by P.C. Cast and Kristin Cast
- Betrayed by P.C. Cast and Kristin Cast

- How to Flirt With a Naked Werewolf by Molly Harper
- This Side of the Grave by Jeaniene Frost
- The Finding by Nicky Charles
- When Darkness Comes by Alexandra Ivy
- Embrace The Darkness by Alexandra Ivy
- Darkness Everlasting by Alexandra Ivy
- Lover Unleashed by J.R. Ward
- Invincible by Sherrilyn Kenyon
- The Demon in Me by Michelle Rowen
- Backstage Pass by Olivia Cunning
- Rock Hard by Olivia Cunning
- Something Wicked by Michelle Rowen
- Her Last Temptation by Leslie Kelly – good!! Local rock star plays in local bar, and bar owner has a crush on him. However her impression of him is a bit off, and he has to “go along with it” to keep her interested… he’s got his own dilemma when it comes to her…
- Dead Reckoning by Charlaine Harris
- Bonded by Blood by Laurie London
- Embraced By Blood by Laurie London
- Darkness Revealed by Alexandra Ivy
- Rock Charisma by Joan P. Cooley
- The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins
- Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins
- Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins
- Vampire Mine by Kerrelyn Sparks
- Falling Star by Olivia Brynn
- Rock Star by Lexi Adair
- Rock Me by Cherrie Lynn
- Unleashed by Cherrie Lynn – awesome little romance, but her book #2 (Rock Me) easily overshadowed it!!
- Darkness Unleashed by Alexandra Ivy (didn’t finish)
- Sheet Music: A Rock ‘N’ Roll Love Story by Ann Lister
- The Darkest Night by Gena Showalter
- The Darkest Kiss by Gena Showalter
- The Darkest Pleasure by Gena Showalter
- Jade Butterfly (Wicked) by Lily Graison – book #3 in the series – shy drummer rock star falls for normal girl, but unwanted groupies cramp his love life…
- Blindsided by Sayer Adams
- Book Review – For all the Right Reasons by Ann Lister (contemporary romance)
- Samson’s Lovely Mortal by Tina Folsom
- Maid for the Billionaire by Ruth Cardello – free and was full on contemporary romance. Good read. Didn’t blow me away, but I was into it. No nonsense “maid” (just a temp) puts billionaire in his place. He’s intrigued, but that sort of gets him into trouble…
- Ashes of Angels by Michelle Hauf (not finished – couldn’t get into this…)
- Amaury’s Hellion by Tina Folsom
- Beautiful Disaster by Jamie McGuire
- Forever Mine (The Moreno Brothers 1) by Elizabeth Reyes (meh. too young for my tastes. Bad boy teen falls for good girl teen. Some trouble ensues… an “older” version would have been more to my liking).
- Flat-Out Love by Jessica Park
- Dragon Bound by Thea Harrison
- Tangled Web by Jade C. Jamison
- How to Kill a Rock Star by Tiffanie DeBartolo
- Loves Road Home by Lisa Lewis (not finished – the writing was distracting, and heroine got on my nerves)
- California Dream by Kara Jorges (not finished – wayyyy too 80’s rockstar-ish for me to enjoy it.)
- Breathe by Abbi Gline (disney-esque type of YA but with dark undertones “pop star” falls for maid)
- Unwritten Rules by M.A. Stacie
- Retribution by Sherrilyn Kenyon
- Hearts in Darkness by Laura Kaye
- Forever Freed by Laura Kaye
- Ravensong by ML Hamilton (Native American gorgeous singer plagued by drug addled past and emotional angst falls for female assistant manager)
- Book Review – Under the Cowboy’s Control by Lynda Chance
- Sweet As Sin by Inez Kelley
- Love Unscripted by Tina Reber
- Providence by Jamie McGuire
- Requiem by Jamie McGuire
- Thoughtless by S.C. Stephens
- Effortless by S.C. Stephens
- Bloodlines by Richelle Mead (still reading)
- One Grave at a Time by Jeaniene Frost
- Sophie’s Turn by Nicky Wells (marry accountant or rock star?) Good and somewhat disappointing. Heroine’s thought processes reminded me of a “flitting hummingbird” – nonstop chatter. Had so much potential, good romantic angst and tension, but a couple of characters sorely disappointed me…
- The Reluctant Dom by Tymber Dalton
- Envy by J.R. Ward
- Laid Bare by Lauren Dane (still reading)
- Fifty Shades of Grey by E. L. James
- Fifty Shades Darker by E. L. James
- For All The Wrong Reasons by J.L. Paul
- Pulled by Amy Lichtenhan – deep, dark, emotional story – very sad, scary circumstances, risky heroine, very good, but not the kind of book you “fall in love with”
- Sheet Music by Tibby Armstrong – too much sex too fast… story got better towards middle but I struggled to continue it at first. Reminded me too much of “Rock Star by Lexi Adair“
- Vicious Circles by J.L. Paul – part 2 of the rock and story – almost better than the first, but best friend premise was irritating. She needed to get over herself!
- Across the Hall by NM Facile
- Club Shadowlands by Cherise Sinclair
- Dark Citadel by Cherise Sinclair
- Please Don’t Stop the Music by Jane Lovering
- The Sexiest Vampire Alive by Kerrelyn Sparks
- Rock Star’s Girl by J. F. Kristin
- Wide Awake by AngstGoddess003 (fanfic … not finished)
- Fitzwilliam Darcy, Rock Star by Heather Lynn Rigaud
- Fallen From Grace by Laura Leone – very good!! Neighbor male escort, and they become close. Tortured hero and past.
- Home For The Holidays by Jeaniene Frost (The Bite Before Christmas Anthology)
- A Discovery of Witches by Deborah Harkness
- Between the Lines by Tammara Webber
- Where You Are by Tammara Webber
- The Sweet Gum Tree by Katherine Allred
- Finding Home by Bonnie Dee and Lauren Baker
- Strangers by Barbara Elsborg
- Comfort Object by Annabel Joseph
- Cool Shade by Theresa Weir – recluse ex-rockstar holds a huge secret. And everyone wants a special tape (unreleased song) he has of his famous singer that died.
- Sweet Dreams by Kristen Ashley
- At Peace by Kristen Ashley
- The Gamble By Kristen Ashley
- Lady Luck by Kristen Ashley
- Hot Night by Shannon McKenna
- Captive in the Dark by CJ Roberts (dark and eerie and creepy… reminded me of Kitty Thomas’s Comfort Food with all the Stockholm Syndrome issues)
- Love at First Flight by Marie Force (fluffy candy romance read – not amazing but fine and fun for something easy and quick between intense reads)
- Poughkeepsie by Debra Anastasia
- Mystery Man by Kristen Ashley
- Last Summer by Theresa Weir
- Fury by Laurann Dohner
- If I Stay by Gayle Forman
- Where She Went by Gayle Forman
- Make or Break by Lori Whitwam (did not finish – it’s a rock star book but I’m not feeling the “rock star” angle at all – just a mystery to solve)
- Defying the Odds by Kele Moon
- On The Island by Tracey Garvis Graves
If you read a book twice do you count it twice?
LOL!! Good question.
But in this list, nope. I didn’t count it twice 😉
Did you review Unwritten Rules? I see you read it and I was looking at it on Amazon. What are your feelings regarding the book??
Thanks as always for your insight 🙂
Sorry…forgot to check the notify me of a followup comment 😉
According to amazon I have 240 books I’ve finished and archived from 10/10 to present! Which surprises me but not my husband, lol!

Wow, how did I miss this question!? Okay, yes I’ve read Unwritten Rules, enjoyed it, but it wasn’t a frenzy inducer for me… I found the hero was almost crush-worthy, but, I dunno – something kept me at bay when it came to him… I couldn’t let myself go completely. I will be reviewing it within the next couple of days…
Have you read any of the Women of the Otherworld books by Kelley Armstrong? I have to say it is one of my favorite series, along with the Black Dagger Brotherhood series. I didn’t see her name in your list. If you haven’t read them, you should check them out.
