It’s Theresa’s turn for a 2015 favorites list, and there are quite a few on here that I haven’t read (or even heard of) and yet so many of hers favs are MINE too!!
“Hey Maryse, I thought I would send you my list of Best Books of 2015…of course some of my choices have multiple books because I loved the entire series!!!! Okay, here they are…”
1. The Sweet Gum Tree by Katherine Allred What an amazing story of love and forgiveness…fantastic writing that sucks you in from the very first word to the last! I loved it!2. The Three Series by Kristen Ashley ( Until the Sun Falls From the Sky, With Everything I Am, and Wild and Free) I am a huge lover of paranormal and that combined with KA’s storytelling just made these books rock!!! Great story and fantastic characters made me laugh and cry…who could ask for more!3. Confess: A Novelby Colleen Hoover One of my absolute favorite authors! This book was unique and beautiful. I loved the use of the artwork to enhance the dynamics of the love story. Absolutely captivating!4. Closer to You Series by AL Jackson ( Come to Me Quietly, Come to Me Softly, and Come to Me Recklessly) A beautiful example of how one choice can impact many lives and how the power of love can bring about forgiveness of self and others.
5. Fighting Shadows (On The Ropes Book 2) by Aly Martinez I love this series! This book had me laughing out loud (the h in this story is awesome…honest, witty, smart, and sassy) and by the end the tears were rolling! It just gave me all the feels that I expect form an Aly Martinez book.
6. The Consolation Duet Series Consolation and Conviction by Corinne Michaels I can’t say enough about these books. They convey an absolutely beautiful love story that is sexy, romantic, and honest. Read these books!
7. Searching for Beautiful (Searching For series Book 3) by Jennifer Probst I loved this entire series but this book stayed with me. There are some difficult themes in the book that Jennifer Probst conveys with such honesty that they tear into your heart.
8. A Modern Fairytale Series The Vixen and the Vet and Never Let You Go by Katy Regnery These books are so beautifully written and convey such hope and inspiration in their stories. If you have not read them…read them NOW!
9. Embrace Series by Jessica Shirvington (Embrace, Entice, Emblaze, Endless, and Empower) I enjoyed this entire paranormal series….fun, exciting, and enthralling!
10. Fallen Crest High (Fallen Crest Series, Book 1) by Tijan This book just sucks you into the entire series…these teens have much more chaos in their lives than I remember having in high school! The characters are fascinating and the setting is surreal. Lots of FUN…enjoy the ride… oh and enjoy LOGAN and MASON!
“Okay..these are my top reads of the year…looking forward to 2016!!!
Theresa”

I keep seeing good things about Searching for Beautiful.
Sweet Gum Tree and The Vixen and the Vet were such great reads. I have had Come to Me Quietly in tbr since it came out.
Nice list, fun to see different titles pop up.
I too loved Sweet Gum Tree! Sweet surprise. Must check out a few of these I haven’t read.
Just an FYI. Mason is mine. 😛
Past FCH, the only one on there I’ve read is Sweet Gum Tree. I want to read the Colleen Hoover one, since I tend to just love her books, and I apparently have Embrace. Unknown to me, I bought that in July. *looks baffled* So that went to the top of my TBR. I also have Never Let You Go due to all the love for it. With Aly Martinez: I only have Fighting Silence. So many good things have been said about it, I had to get the first one.
I don’t just love the list, but major yeah! for FCH. 🙂
I loved KA’s The Three’s series. It was refreshing to have a different take on vampires. And werewolves also. And the bad boy biker inspired hybrid in book 3 reminded me of a Chinese Kung fu movie. So damn cool!!
I also enjoyed Vixen and the Vet, which was a good weekend mindless, smile on your face read. I need to catch up on the next one.
Oohhh, this is a bit of a different list. The only one I have read is Fallen Crest High. Agree I was sucked in (and sometimes not much was happening) but they do seem to have quite a bit of drama they way they carry on. Bit like Fear Me by BB Reid, the storyline in that one whilst entertaining for 17 year olds was a little unbelievable. But hey it’s fiction after all.
Great list Theresa. A few on here I have loved…Colleen Hoover, Aly Martinez although I’ve only got as far a Fighting Silence in that series. Loved The Vixen and The Vet (and I stupidly thought it was about a Vetinarian!?).
FYI Jessica Shirvington is an Aussie author and married to a past Olympian. Her book Between the Lives is excellent.
Thanks for sharing your best books.
Definitely a great list Theresa. I’ve read a few, but I haven’t read the Embrace series so I’m getting that one now. Thanks.
The Three Series by KA is one of my favorite go to paranormal series! In fact, I just finished rereading it for the umpteenth time!!
I’m going to check out the embrace series. I love me some paranormal.
Loved Aly Martinez On the Ropes series! I’m dying for the third book! Love the Kate Regnery books and looking forward to Ginger’s Heart (based on Little Red Riding Hood….release date March 22)!
I’ve also had Come to Me Quietly since it was released and still need to read it!
Great list Theresa, with lots of new finds for me!
Theresa, I love Jennifer Probst and probably the audible books I have listened to the most.
Lisa when you said about the author Jessica Shrivington being married to an Olympic athlete reminded me of a youtube a friend had sent me. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wa2VkjrbOuE
Yep Cheryl….thats her husband!! Famous for his bouncing ‘junk’. Pretty certain she has no complaints 😉
Nice to see the Three series getting some love. I really liked that series. Not as much as her Fantasyland series, but a really really good PNR read!!!
